Some real photos ((( If I saw them before booking I wouldn't choose this place. I think it is unfair not to show real room photos. Definitely not recommend. Children were scared to sleep there(

Anwar House Hotel kept it simple – no frills, just basic accommodations. The price was right, and it served its purpose for a short stay. Don't expect luxury, but if you need a budget-friendly spot that ticks the essentials, it's worth considering.

Good for the price. Really good location, close to station and lots of destinations. Very cheap for the area. Excellent service from the staff. Rooms and building are very run down but get what you pay for so complaints from us.

2 star Hotel so didn't expect much. Toilet very small with no cover on the window. Shower was dirty. Bed was slightly damp with marks all over sheet. No coffee or tea facilities. No towels. Room very cold as window didn't shut properly. Very damp musty smell in the room so I did not end up staying the full night. Very basic small room.

❤️ what can I say and where should I start? I am so touched by the kindness, care, assistance, understanding help offered to me and my disabled ♿️ mom by the owner gentleman along with his staffers ,it was all above and beyond. I am utterly grateful and will always be, as I am yet to experience a hotel in such a great location in London to accommodate us everytime we visit with this genuine care. The amazing owner always gives us a perfectly located room suitable for our special needs along with his helpful staff who all treat us like family. I always recommend their hotel to everyone I know visiting London for not only an reasonablly priced hotel in such a perfect location, but also for an attentivene management that cares, genuinely. Since I was lucky to come across this hotel, I never looked back. Always have a home in London with them.. as you all should.

So ein schlechtes Zimmer hatte ich noch nie . Einfach nur ein loch. Die könnte man nicht richtig verschließen. Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig.

it was very unhygienic, the bed sheet that i asked to be changed had stains on them. the toilet didn’t flush and was quite dirty. The draws had mould in then. Every time you walked in the reception area it smelled really unpleasant. The closet was broken and in general the room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned since the battle of Hastings. However some of the staff were really nice and friendly (and they gave me a toffee sweet). However the experience was something i’d never wish to relive again.

This is the perfect room for someone traveling on a budget. Clean linen and towels. Shower was hot and pressure very decent. WiFi was good. Staff were friendly !

The picture is not real. Overall is below standard needed. Heater is not work, and hot water shower is not work, i had to use cold water in cold weather. Only one towel served for 4 persons room. Soap was prepared but not shampoo. I added real picture for deciding.

This hotel is definitely a great value considering the location and proximity to public transit, restaurants, shops, and museums. It is in a cute neighborhood and looks great from the outside. The rooms are incredibly cheap, which was the first clue not to expect too much. Our family room was in the basement which wouldn't have been bad were it better maintained. The gray and white stripes painted on literally everything, along with the shower installed in a closet, the tiny corner sink and the dank smell made us feel a bit like we were staying in a prison. I will say in my opinion, the beds were very comfortable, and having a mini fridge and microwave were more than I expected. Also, since we are Americans living in Italy, our children enjoyed being able to watch a bit of TV in English! Overall, if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep, this would be a great place for the price and location. If the owners invested some money in redoing the rooms they could make an absolutely killing. We also haven't received the return of our deposit for incendentals, but hopefully that is coming soon since we left the place exactly as we found it.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Arrived in the room, and everything it's absolutely covered in dust, can't even breath from the dust and dirtiness. Asked them for a solution, and gave us a room for 4 (we were 5) as they said the room for 6 they have available is more expensive and they won't give us. Disgusting treatment, and staff, definetely won't recomend it, even if they would offer it for free.

Location is great. 5mins walk from EarlsCourt tube station. 4 stations away from Victoria. Room are decent size but facilities are bad. Box (dirty) shower and box toilet. There wasn't even handwash in toilet ( in both toilets as we got 2 rooms) had to go to a local shop to buy...

I don't still stay there, BUT! I have a reservation on Friday by booking, and this hotel didn't help me with my reservation, they were only rude, I put 2 stars, because at the beginning they tried to find a solution, but after they were only rude and try to cancel my reservation. The worst is that I have enough pounds in my bank account and I send them the photo but they don't care ..I will see how is my stay there and in base of that I change my review.

Location is the key, probably the only cheap place shown in Kensington for a late booking. Rooms are average size but not maintained well. Would have made a good place if refurbished.

Location is great and we got it at a cheap price. But between mold in the water boiler and bathroom, thin sheets and pillows, and an uneven and dirty carpet on the floor, it left much to be desired. No Wi-Fi in the room either, so that wasn't great either. Spend the extra money to get a better room in another hotel nearby, there's plenty of options and the location is fantastic

Ok, it's cheap, and the location is good but there are negatives. Shower curtain was filthy (urine!), Floors filthy, mouse traps, some plugs didn't work, and the windows need serious attention for H&S reasons (old sash windows) and if you have inquisitive children, you have to be very careful. The linen was clean, no issues there. They claim to hold a deposit on your card and that it will be returned to you the next day, it probably won't be. We have still not had ours back and it's been over a week. I would not recommend this place. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere better than this!

It was horrendous! Upon check-in the guy was off, took a good 30min for the room to be ready considering it was already 6pm. Reception area is reek of cigarette even upon entry to the room. The room that was supposed to be assigned had leakage so had to transfer but even to the new one it was horrible, cracks everywhere and stinky too! Saw a nice running around the room, even the bathroom is unpleasant. The staff are so rude and very unwelcoming! Never ever stay here! Hope this place closed down due to its standard!

Exactly what I expected for the price. Clean bedding and towels, friendly staff and great location. The decor is very tired and outdated and the whole place could do renovating but it’s very cheap.

Horrific. I know it's a budget hotel, but come on, some standards are still expected. Mould on the walls by the bed, the bathroom absolutely covered with mould. A hole in the bathroom wall that goes to the outside, just covered with a bit of wood on a hinge. Either the heating isn't on at all and it's a freezing cold night, or it's on full all night and you can't sleep because it's so hot. One curtain on the left that's normal, and a voil on the other side that's about as useful at blocking out the light as cling film. No option to pay by card, cash only. Someone else in the building smoking stupid amounts of cannabis to the point where that's all you can smell in the whole building. Desperate need of a clean, a lick of paint, new furnishings and better management.

Good room size for 5 people. The toilet was not good at all, the flash did not work properly and the shower as well. However, the staff were super friendly.

Never again!!! For me it was too expensive for what the place is like. We first arrived around 9am but they didn't let us in until 2pm. They wanted us to leave our bags in the corridor, obviously we refused. They ask for a deposit of £75 on check in, which is excessive. The room was dirty, the microwave had not been cleaned, the bathroom was dirty, the sink was very small and there were only bars of soap, I had to ask for towels. The walls lacked paint, with holes and stains. There were many spiders. The beds were very nice and comfortable. The window could not be opened, which left a closed smell in the room all the time. A lot of noises can be heard. The neighbourhood is good because you have Earl's Court station 5 minutes away but I have lived in London for 7 years and it is a neighbourhood that doesn't have much to offer. You have to move far away. The cleaning lady was very nice although she tried to convince me to clean my room. I would not go back to this place just because the money that is deposited there is a robbery. It’s not worth it, sorry.

WORST PLACE EVER. They are the Worst. We went there for vacation. When we went inside the stairs were horrible. When we went in the room the rooms lock didnt work and the Window wont shut. The bathroom is a disgrace. The beds are hard. The pillows are hard as a rock. We went back to Get a refund and they said that they wont give it back. We just went to the room and hated it. The people are disrepectful and wont give you a good service. If you wish to go to a here i would recomend every Other place. DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE TRUST ME THEY DO NOT DESERVE ANY KIND OF COSTUMERS. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN IN!!!
