Absolutely awful, dreadful hotel. my room was on the 2nd floor and I could barely get inside the tiny room because it was filled mostly by a double bed with barely enough legroom to move around. the bedsheets were grubby and the toilet was abysmal. I paid 70 quid for one night but I checked out a few hours later as I didn't wish to stay the night in such an awful place. no tea or coffee making facilities, no cups, TV didn't work. noisy road outside, inconvenient location for access to Stratford International station but feels like you are in a 3rd world country its so remote and dreadful conditions. this is the singularly worst hotel I have ever "stayed" in. would never ever come back. way way overpriced for what it offered. very very bad perception of the place. never again

AVOID Dirty rooms. Stained towels, bedding with holes in. No tea or coffee making facilities in room, unless you count the dirty kettle. NO full english despite it being advertised on the web site. The breakfast we got wasnt cooked properly either, how you can mess up fried egg on toast ?? And the table cloths were dirty. No wifi, no free cash machine. Grumpy staff. NOTHING LIKE ADVERTISED

Definitely wouldn't class it as a hotel, it's more of a hostel. Rooms were bog standard but we didn't pay much so that's alright but the rooms still weren't the cleanest and the drains kept stinking out the bathroom. The only God send was the big fan in the room since we went during a heatwave.

You get what you pay for, and I personally didn’t feel ripped off by these guys outside the breakfast, which was horribly underwhelming and didn’t offer any meat options. At the end of the day, the world still needs affordable and accessible lodging and that’s what this hotel can offer. The good: affordable and was available last minute when I needed a place to stay- I booked the night before checking in and it was the only affordable hotel in London left. It’s close to the bus station that’ll take you to Stratford station. Nearby laundromat, pubs, and some budget friendly take aways. The staff was very friendly. The bad: like I said, no laundry but I’m wondering if that may be a different standard here as opposed to the USA where laundry is fairly universal for hotels and even hostels. The breakfast wasn’t good at all and I even skipped it my second day, so DO NOT prepay for it with your stay. The shower situation was odd- the bathroom floor is essentially the shower floor, so be prepared for the floor to be wet for hours after showering. There was also no nightstand.

£81 for this place!!! It wasn't worth ½ that, place looks like it's stuck in the 70s. Staff were fine but the place is nowhere near the price, very basic room, place needs a massive update, even then it wouldn't justify the price.

Bed sheets and pillow cases were all stained. Mould on the ceiling and in the fridge. Smelt awful. Decided to book elsewhere after being in the rooms for a few minutes. Wouldn't call it a hotel.

I was not sleeping in this hotel, but I found them after being lost my son and me because we were looking for the City View House in another place in London and they helped us to speak with our booked hotel because we are spanish and don't speak english fluently and they offered us all their services for free and explained us with a paper with the itinerary to arrive to our hotel. We are hugely greatful to city view hotel for their help. Thank you very much!!! Sergio Marquínez

If all you care it's saving money, that's your place: it's really cheap. But don't expect a five star hotel: the staff is polite and nice even though they take their time doing things but the room where I slept was not the cleanest I've ever seen, the toilet was smelling really bad and there wasn't even a leaflet with the instructions about how to connect to the WiFi, what time breakfast was, nothing at all.

The price / service ratio is absolutely fine. Cheap hotel VERY close to central, what do you want more?

Rooms were uncomfortable and dirty Fridge smell and was full of mildew I think it should be called a hostel cause its operated by indians who live on the property

AVOID! Had my fair share of cheap hotels, but this is the first one where I ran away after the first 10 minutes. Dirty bedsheets (weird spots on them), dirty floor, awful smell, honestly disgusting!
