The most disgusting chinese food i have ever had. Had a chicken and a duck dish. Both meats and some of the vegatables were rancid. Had a few bites and chucked it away and was then up all night with a very unsettled stomach. Justeat said theres nothing they can do and i would have to report the local food standard agency so i didnt even get a refund. The food is not fit for human consumption!!

Top Notch (for take-away/delivery) at least! Not sure why it has such a low rating on here :s It has a 4.4 rating on Deliveroo! It also has a Hygiene Rating of 5! It's really tasty traditional Chinese food! I definitely recommend it! P.S. Try the 🍯 ribs! This was a good portion unlike some Chinese restaurants!

The worst Chinese take away I have ever had. Small portions and food with no flavour. It was awful. As you can see in the pictures egg fried rice is just rice and special rice looks the same.

Very quick service, ordered via deliveroo. Everything was decent, but the crispy shredded chicken wasn't crispy.

Decided to order from here as it had good veggie choices before seeing the negative reviews. The food wasn't outstanding but it certainly wasn't terrible either and everything we received was extremely fresh, well packaged to prevent spills. The veggie 'beef' in black bean sauce was particularly good. The veggie duck with pancakes was much better than I have had from elsewhere as the mock duck was actually crispy and not like it had been steamed as everywhere else does it. The only let down was the sweet and sour tofu, it was a bit bland and only had one piece of pineapple in the whole thing, so probably wouldn't order that next time.

Ordered through Deliveroo and they never delivered. The delivery driver is their own and not deliveroos, so they lied and said it was delivered, so I couldn’t revive a refund.

Ordered on the 12th Feb and arrived on time and piping hot. Great prawn toast and chicken satay. The sweet & sour chicken and beef with mushrooms & bean sprouts was delicious. Enjoyed two side dishes of Chinese vegetables with cashew nuts and chow mien noddles. Every dish was cooked perfectly and delicious. Ignore bad reviews and try for yourself as my experience was very good Will order from them again.

I ordered using uber eats before reading the comments. I was worried as a good few was really bad. But I am a very happy customer Food is fresh and tasty. No complaints at all!

We order our Chinese Takeaway since 17 years from Emperor. It's cheap and cheerful, nothing special, but it always tastes nice. Very good value for money. Recommended.

Ordered take away. Lots of things we ordered were not as described on the menu, decided to try a new Chinese as getting bored of my local ordered salt and chillie chips but received plain chips. Ordered pancake rolls and received miniature spring rolls - with a curry flavour (not as described again). Friend can’t have gluten so ordered chicken and mushroom soup and they sent a noodle soup instead. Surprisingly the soup was relatively nice despite it being the wrong order. Won’t bothered ordering from here again tbh the bad reviews speak for themselves. Should have looked before ordering.

I've only had take aways from here and I've had a lot of different Chinese from various restaurants in islington and hackney.. this is by far the best.never been disappointed its allways been lovely! and I've recommended to a lot of people and they all agreed.

Always takeaway, but upon collection, the staff are funny, friendly, and the food is tasty!

Ordered from here tonight on Justeat the food was delivered so fast literally felt like I'd only just ordered lol came before delivery window, driver was friendly and upbeat, request to remove part of food from sweet and sour was met no problems, the food was delicious me and my son both devoured it fast, honestly best Chinese we have had in a long time, great service and great food will definitely order again in future! Full of motorcycle delivery riders so not a great atmosphere as the door is wide open in Nov/Dec/Jan etc, people do not eat in here, I have never seen any. The food is hit or miss, some days it is great very tasty and hot but 50% of the time it has just been ok like reheated left overs from the day before but lacking key ingredients especially the special fried rice! Ps, Congealed dips more like cement than a sauce or the opposite watery with no taste, disappointing how it goes from great to cxxp each time you order.

3 of us Dined in. Food was good (chicken chow mein, duck in sweet n sour pineapple, ribs). 2nd time we've eaten in before an Arsenal game. However, the restaurant is cold, most people had their coats on. The plates all come out cold. The pictures on Google are so old they were taken when it was nice and new, but now the walls are all marked, the chairs are worn out, it could with a serious refurb...BUT the food is good. Eating a quick meal before Footie is one thing but I'd never go there for an evening meal. Staff are very pleasant.

Sweet & sour pork flavourless. Kung Pao chicken awful - something wrong with the sauce, super sour, no heat to the dish. A mistake to eat here.

Rotten!! The worst and most disgusting veg curry I’ve ever had in my entire life! I don’t know what they’ve made the curry sauce with but I wanted to throw up after one taste, it’s made me feel sick and I’ve got a strong stomach being a Nurse. It didn’t taste like any Chinese curry I’ve had in my 35 years of eating Chinese food, it tasted like washing up liquid and it had a strange tinge of green to eat! The chow mein tasted really weird too! £16 down the toilet! I called them up to tell them and they offered me a free meal next time but I won’t eat from there again! Yuck 🤮 🤢 I feel so sick. Need a cup of tea to wash away the taste… don’t eat from there!

They sent the wrong food and refused to send a replacement. Although I explained that my daughter was allergic to what they had sent and now she has nothing to eat. They said complain to Uber get a refund and place another order. Unacceptable as it was their mistake. Will not order from here again.

If I could give a zero I would have. This was without doubt the worst Chinese we have ever had. Items in the order were totally wrong. The Kung po chicken smelled like alcohol and looked to have gone off cashew nuts floating in it. The rice tastes like salt. With over cooked pieces of egg. The chicken balls were all mushy with barely any chicken in and the sweet and sour sauce was pure vinegar. The prawn toast was bizarre and wafer thin. Finished my "meal" of a mouthful of rice, a couple of "chicken" balls and a couple of wafers of prawn toast. Now I feel sick. This place should be closed. I might even contact trading standards.

I ordered prawn fried rice from here , it came and as I was eating it something wasn’t right so I didn’t finish it , the following day I was taken down with food poisoning - I’m writing this review 3days I’m still suffering.

I had the very worst Chicken and cashew nuts here on 17th September. I could not eat the chicken. It had a fatty texture and felt very questionable.

Guys believe the negative reviews, the food is bland and tasteless, no meat in the Singapore Fried Rice, BBQ wings from Iceland and oven cooked it seems?

Received two dishes with raw pink soft chicken- inedible and had to be thrown away.

Possibly the worst "Chinese" food out there. The salt and pepper squid was like chewing rubber bands, and the 'crispy noodles' I ordered were literally uncooked vermicelli noodles that had seen neither oil nor a wok.

Whenever I have Chinese take away, I tend to find it’s extremely oily or too sweet and very rarely do I finish it. This is not the case with Emporer Chinese. I can honestly say I enjoyed every mouth and cleared my plate! Thanks for the great food, you’ll be seeing me again!!!

Salt and Pepper squid like old leather, vegetable dumplings were mush inside, jumbo prawns stir fry virtually tasteless. At least the prawn crackers were ok. Wish I'd seen these reviews before ordering. Clearly lots of false reviews on Just Eat

Worse food I have ordered every dish was terrible the chicken satay was pink and raw the duck was all fat and bones the spring rolls and prawn toast was soaked in oil everything ended up in the bin compleat waste of money

Absolutely disgusting 🤢 crispy chill beef soggy and stale way to many onions.. The egg fried rice and vegetable fried rice bland as hell no flavour Szechuan pork was disgusting didn't taste like it's suppose to be had way to many bamboo pieces in it no sauce fatty meat never order from this place dissatisfied at it's highest 🤢🤬🤬
