It is a lovely place where my cricket mates and I practise cricket in the nets provided over there for the next cricket season to come. The cricketers are so excellent with university cricket level experience in India as they are university students in London and some born in London with high talent in cricket. The exceptional thing I should say is that a 14 years old Bangladeshi boy who came to London with an outstanding performance in cricket. He is 6"2 and a genuine all rounder with a fast bowling which speeds 80 MPH and a wonderful batting as well. He is a master of both. He can even compete the first class division cricket or even to the international standards of cricket. His name is Sohan. I am a cricketer who had played Essex county over 50's veteran's cricket in 2015 and expected to play the Essex county veterans cricket next year. Furthermore, I would like to say that all the players in our group are having international standards, I believe.

I Live very close to this park and walk through this park everyday, awesome place to chill. There are multiple playgrounds, can bring kids too.. The public amenities here are pathetic, except this, it's an awesome chillout zone. Maintenance is very essential especially the toilets, because a dog won't even get inside accidentally. So this is one major issue. 8 minutes walk distance to East ham underground, 3 minutes walk to nearby 3 bus stops. So easy access. A park to chill and relax in any weather.

A good park with playground for kids, separate court for volleyball, big field for Football and cricket. It's located very close to the East Ham underground station. Plenty of green grass and open space under big giant trees, where I have seen people of all walk of life and communities enjoying their free time. The park has multiple entrance. Street parking available. There are toilet facilities and a Cafe. Enjoyed a lot.

Very neat and calm place for leisure. Kids playing area, football turf, small cricket playing area, paved walkway, public toilet are some of the highlights. There are so many benches and some picnic tables are there. There is no streetlight inside the park, which is one of the disadvantages

Good size park for the area. It is well maintained and looked after. The park has a good pathway for walking, running and cycling. The park has large green areas perfect for picnics, plenty of benches, tennis courts, gravel football/basketball courts, cricket pitch and kids playground area. Great for a family day out or with friends.

Visited after 4 years, the park is nice and big for everyone to enjoy. Although there should be some new swings and play equipment for older kids 6-7 year olds, the toilets are disgusting they shall hire some cleaning staff for keeping them clean.

Excellent park for the local community with small children play ground, and public toilet faculty but really worse I dobt blame park authorities but they should care and get cleaner for regular clean. I think the local community should care about the park and kepe it clean for childrens.

Nice, but small park. There are a good few benches you can sit on and chill. Nice place to run if you are new to running and don't run over 3k.

This park is well used by the local community and especially mums bringing their children to its play area. It has seating benches and is accessible by disability chairs and scooters. It's a pleasant enough park within an inner city area.

Nice play Park for the kids, few gates missing so you have to watch little ones dont escape. If you have to use the toilets ,they are clean ,but hold ya nose cos they stink! Loads of open space to sit or do whatever.

a very clean and tranquil spot to relax. Some of the attractions include a children's play area, a football pitch, a small cricket pitch, a concrete promenade and a public lavatory. There are numerous picnic tables and benches throughout the area. One drawback is the absence of streetlights inside the park.

I am a mobile personal trainer based in east London, DB’s workouts and this weight box by swing fitness is very useful. I can now deliver my outdoor classes without the hassle of carrying around weights. I do wish one was in Stratford park though as I run a Boxfit class there every Friday at 5:30pm and this extra bit of equipment would definitely help me out, hopefully one day this will be in all parks.

Good park to take the kids nice play area for the young ones next to small shop where you can buy teas / coffee ice cream etc. Lived here all my life, miss the small zoo they had in the park, used to take my children to it, pity i never got the chance to take my grandkids. UPDATE: What can I say, i recently attended this park and to my horror was greeted by the sight of at least half a dozen rats feeding on bread which someone had thrown down for pigeons. I then saw a mass of pigeons feeding on food thrown on the ground adjacent to a sign asking people not to feed the birds. Sadly some Newham residents either lack common sense or are just plain thick. UPDATE: Good news, since I last posted the issue with rats in the park the council have laid numerous traps, well done Newham Council. The council have done their bit now it's up to people who use the park 'Stop throwing food on the ground' you may think you're doing a good deed but all you are doing is risking the health of people who visit the park.

Plashet Park is located in East London in the Borough of Newham and first opened in 1891. Remarkably its original layout has remained relatively how it was. Various upgrades and new facilities have been added over the years such as tennis courts and a play area with paddling pool. Transport to Plashet Park include the tube: East Ham (District/Hammersmith & City) and buses such as numbers: 101, 104, 147, 238, 300, 325.

This is one of my favourite local park, especially because it now hosts two cafes, Applecart Cafe and Patch Cafe! They're both run by lovely people. Applecart more grown up and Patch cafe if you have luttle children as it's right next to the play area. Definitely worth visiting. Especially when it's a lovely day like today.

This park use to be very clean and tidy. Over last 4/5 years council not spending much on this park. People urinate where ever they want. Children’s play ground use to have 3 set of swing. 1 broke down and never came back. There are also security issue in the evening and smell of weeds here and there.

Clean and a nice place to go to for a walk or to exercise

  • 3/5 Zarina M. 3 years ago on Google
Bit of greenery, wide open space is always a good thing. Especially if u need to walk ur dog, get a bit of exercise. It doesn't have a car park as far as I'm aware, Its residential permit holders and pay by phone only. About five minutes walk from the main High Street, 10 from Eastham Station.

Excellent for some peace and quiet in the middle of East Ham. Ample childrens play areas and public facilities. Finding a parking space nearby can be a challenge

  • 3/5 Syed J. 3 years ago on Google
The place is always packed, especially on weekends. The park is beautiful with a lot of vegetation but lacks colours. It offers array of shortcuts while walking and also some peace. Overall, a decent park to visit.
