I am a regular customer at Katti Roll. I had one of the most disappointing and traumatizing experience from this place. I am a pure vegetarian and do not consume any meat. Consuming any kind of meat is against my moral and religious principles. On the 31st of December 2021 I had placed an order for Achari Paneer roll, Chana masala roll And Mango lassi from Katti Roll. I was served chicken roll instead of Chana masala roll. I was completely sick throughout the evening. Threw up multiple times, felt sick to my stomach, cancelled all my new year Eve plans as well. I was at work so I couldn’t go in to inform them or place a complaint immediately. After work the place was closed so I had to take this up the next day. I went over to the store to have a normal conversation with the staff/manager. Wanted to suggest them that they should have some demarcation on the roll to differentiate between veg and non veg options. Instead of having a conversation the manager at Katti roll named ‘DILIP’ decided to have an argument. ‘DILIP’ was extremely rude and arrogant. Refused to accept this negligence done by this staff and told me that you can sue the company and whatever you want to do and you can’t do anything and we are not here to write thousands of pounds worth of check where i d didn’t even asked once for money all i was there for an formal apology from manager/staff for there negligence. Where in he said it’s not his responsibility and fault. He even accused me of making a false accusation. I had showed his a photo of the roll and bill. Even mentioned the order number which was 73. He completely disregarded my physical and mental health after consuming the roll. He even questioned me, stating that how I was unable to differentiate between Chana masala and chicken when I have never consumed chicken in my entire life. Plus I was busy at work and just took a bite without doubting that I’d be served something else. Continuing he gave his personal example of where when he ordered cheese burger from McDonalds he was served beef burger. When cheese burger is beef burger. I know Human error is normal and understandable. However this manager’s attitude was completely insensitive and disrespectful. He wasn’t even apologetic. He wasn’t accepting to the fact that this pure negligence from his staff. He then told us to go ahead and sue the place if we wanted and told us to leave. We politely asked for him name and he got even more defensive and called the police on us over the phone. Did not let us explain the situation and was completely misleading the police by not stating the fact or explains the entire situation in a none biased manner. The manager offered to give me free food but that wasn’t the point. The fact that he completely ignored the issue and wasn’t even apologetic about the whole situation. This entire incident has had me shook because even now I feel nauseated and sick. I would not recommend this place because of how this situation was handled. There was absolutely zero compassion and respect

Absolutely tasty and delicious with the simplest menu I've ever seen. You can choose from rolls filled with any kind of Indian filling or sauce (aloo, paneer, chana). You can have beer or lassi or soft drinks. A few seating areas and that's it. Discovery of the month!!

I tried paneer kari roll, taste was ok. Ambience is good. Its self service you get all different varieties of roll. They also offer you card with stamp, so if your card is full with stamp you get a 1 free roll.

A quick bit with grilled meat chapattis. Full of flavor and deliciously spice. You can request a side sauce as well. Paid about £6 for a roll.

Cozy place and nice vintage decoration, the rolls are ok wish it to be more lighter meal special for a morning breakfast or a snack, maybe this is my opinion only but to be frank there were many customers at the time and they seemed to have a good time and apparently they’re a regular customers too.

Authentic taste and nicely located. Helpful staff and regularly cleaned. Safety protocols followed. Wide range of Kati rolls. The best place to try them in London, takes you back to the streets of India. ******UPDATED***** The rolls are even more amazing with more stuffing inside. We tried the Unda Chicken Roll or Egg Chicken Roll and it was very filling while the Alphonso Mango Lassi was fresh and yummy. ********************** Would highly recommend. If you are a foodie, you should definitely give a try.

Solid kati rolls! The paratha was a little bit overcooked and over crispy, and the chicken in the Tikka Masala roll was also a little bit overcooked and just a tad on the dry side. However, both the aloo (potato) and chicken tikka rolls were well spiced and super flavorful. Both rolls also had delicious heat in them. So, be prepared to sweat a little bit if you can't handle spicy spice. The restaurant itself is also decorated in fun old school Bollywood murals. I'd recommend this spot for a yummy quick bite when you're in Soho.

I come from Mumbai and can attest that their rolls (wraps) are as authentic as it gets. These kinds of rolls are very popular street food in Mumbai and Delhi. They're great for a quick bite and are super delicious. I would recommend their Chicken Tikka Roll & the Achari Paneer Roll. It goes well with the classic Masala Chai. They're aptly priced and have done a great job of creating the old Bombay talkies vibe.

It is the perfect snacks/appetizer in London. Quick, cheap, fulfilling and just enough spice for a snack. Definitely recommend their chicken tikka roll. You can grab it to go and finish it in seconds. Will try again their other menu.

A rather different and unusual layout. It seems very authentic with the rusty roof, walls and lighting. A very simple menu which is ideal as you're not confused by a huge menu. Food was served promptly, staff did seem very stressed and that was reflected in their customer service. Food was tasty and fresh. Portions were quite small in comparison to similar restaurants.

We ordered Kati rolls for lunch for our Diwali work event in the office for 140 people. Anna was really great, helpful and sorted everything to get delivered to our office with no issues. The food was great, came warm and got a great reception from my colleagues, and was filling enough! Thanks so much

Rolls are pretty average, nothing much inside just the meat and a few onions. Quite burnt paratha for my liking

No one rolls like the Kati roll The Shammi rolls at the kati roll company in London and New York, I have this standard order for years. I love this restaurant and many of you reading would agree that this restaurant is so special.

Small but nice place for a quick stop if you would like to have some Kathi rolls with masala chai. It has both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Chai is really good, will recommend to checkout this place if you like Indian chai.

Masala chai - 1.5/5 Chicken tikka roll -2.5/5 Green chutney and raita chutney - 0.5/5 The MASALA CHAI was very water down as an indian it was not good but again it was pretty decent. CHICKEN TIKKA ROLL was pretty decent. Nothing too good so it was too much for money but it was good gave that homey/street food taste. Chutneys ! No way those were chutneys it was so watered down like the raita chutney was literally like a chhaas (buttermilk) it would have been good if it was a bit thick like how a chutney needs to be :) About the service - the food came within a minute (kinda weird). I had to pick up the plates and everything from last customer the table was not cleaned.

The flavors are remarkably similar to the Kathi Roll Company in New York City, if not slightly better. They know how to make their primary thing (the kathi rolls) pretty well. Apart from the food, the atmosphere inside the place is not really my vibe, but since you are not staying here long enough for a proper sit-down dinner, that's okay. Perhaps the best part about this place is the speed of your order which is blazing fast! Which is great if you are famished and craving quick filling food.

It’s a nice place for a quick snack or lunch. Rolls here are very authentic. Tried the paneer and aloo roll both are pretty good.

While the ambience is good, the food is tasteless, nowhere close to authentic Kati Rolls of India. The chicken inside the roll is plain boiled chicken with absolutely no spices. There's unnecessary addition of mint chutney. No one adds mint chutney in Kati Roll. There's not a single green chillie in the roll. Can you imagine Indian food without a single green chillie? Request the owner to go to India and try what a Kathi Roll is before serving such unauthentic food and fooling customers. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!

I got 3 rolls to takeaway and was pleasantly surprised. My family comes from Kolkata and I've had a kathi roll many times. I had the Unda Chicken Roll and it was tasty and authentic. Will definitely be back again...

Affordable roti rolls with loads of fillings to choose from. I found them personally a little dry but nice with Yogurt Chutney.
