This place is amazing. Kids paradise. Parents heaven. It’s near the Kensington Palace. Closest underground is Queensway. I would recommend you come for 10am as it gets busy on a sunny day and you will need to queue up. But you can come anytime you wish, I think it’s open 10-5, but double check. It’s free to enter. There’s a guard on the gates, who won’t let your child out without the adult, so it’s safe as well. There are toilets & a coffee shop. You can bring a blanket & have a picnic. It’s Peter Pans Gardens. There’s a big Pirate 🏴‍☠️ ship 🚢 the kids can climb. There are slides, swings, sand. Climbing frames & slides. Check out the map. It’s bit, at least good 2 hours. Age wise I would say from 2/3 but of course you can take babies. Up to 10-11 years old? But it all depends on child, if they are happy to play. I would recommend it to everyone. It’s amazing. Kids had so much fun. And in summer there’s water feature/fountain too. And it’s all in Princess Diana’s memory. What a fab playground. Afterwards you can walk around the park & chill.

Our children had a lovely time at this park. The pirate ship was a big hit with our children. It's a nice quiet park near Kensington Palace, which is a nice change of pace for the day. There are lots of areas and things for kids to do. Would suggest if you want the kids to burn a little energy while you sit and relax in the shade.

One of the most complete playgrounds in London. Massive sandpit with huge pirate ship, music corner, splash area in summer, elevated walk, swings, seesaw, slides, toilet, interactive walk, tunnel, tents, treasure chests, even food cafe, despite all those things somehow it feels small. I guess because is fenced and it's always full of kids.

Diana Memorial Playground is a real paradise for children and a great place for mothers to enjoy time with their children in a natural and safe environment. This wonderful playground is located in London's beautiful Hyde Park and its design is inspired by the tale of Peter Pan. The playground features a pirate ship, a castle and a variety of play elements that inspire children's imagination and play. You can find cosy places for picnics and relaxation, where you can spend time with your kids. Diana Memorial Playground is also a safe place for children, as the entrance is controlled and there are supervisors present to help ensure the safety of young visitors. This way, you can be at ease and enjoy the moments with your children. The overall atmospheric style and natural beauty of the playground make it the perfect place for the whole family to relax and play. Thanks to its location in Hyde Park, you can also plan a walk or picnic in nature after your time at the playground. I am sure you and your children will enjoy every minute you spend at Diana Memorial Playground. It is an amazing place for children and helps create wonderful memories for you and your family.

Possibly the Best playground in London! So many things to play with for the kids - sand, water, slides, swings and many trails. And the location is just perfect. We keep returning here during each visit to London.

Seemed like a great playground however my toddlers were happily entertained by a small patch of water and sand so didn't get to check it all out 🫠

Went here during the summer months and had a great time. The children loved the pirate ship. The sand area was clean and well appreciated. The cafe and toilets are well situated within the compound of the park area and it had a good selection of food and drink.

Wondering in Hide Park you find Diana's Memorial, a very beautiful place where children can play on the sand or going up on a nice boat and enjoy a day outdoors.

A great place for children, with lots of fun activities for the little ones, from swings to slides, fine sand and even a water fountain. The food at the restaurant in front was very delicious, with a reasonable price. We will definitely come back.

Secure place for families. I found a security guy in the entrance and specifically said that and adult must to enter with a child to supervised. My kid and I enjoy a lot there. It was ok even when half of the park was wet. But nice place in general. Also u can enjoy a coffee or sandwich in the cafe place outside

Great stop if you are traveling with little kiddos. We have been taking our two year old to all of the normal stops when on holiday in London and he really enjoyed a half a day playing around this park. The Pirate ship is amazing and the rest is near perfect to let the little ones enjoy their holiday as well.

Amazing place to spend the day with multiple places for activities. There is a coffee place that closes at 07:00. There is not enough toilet facilities though.

Really cool playground in the amazing Hyde Park. The massive pirate ship wows the kids from the moment they set eyes on it! The sand pit is big and well maintained. There are also swings, slides and other attractions inside the gated area that are hidden behind the bushes and little trees. The space is big and kids from different ages love it! You can find toilets (clean even after a long busy day!) right at the entrance and food and drinks right by the entrance gate. Not giving 5 stars because the wet area is not working and that used to be the highlight of a hot day for many of the little visitors!

A spectacular playground. Great range of elements. Big sand area with large pirate ship for climbing. Separate climbing area with bridges and slides. Swings area. Play houses. Musical area. Teepees. Most of the perimeter has tall shrubs so the playground interior feels like its own little world. It’s all well maintained. There are toilets. They actually have attendants controlling the entrance. Just outside the playground there’s a cafe/snack bar. It’s a fantastic playground and is a destination unto itself.

My friend and I often go down to this playground with our kids and they love it so much, it's a safe environment for kids to play with security at the main gate. It's wonderful there and children are delighted with all the playground activities, climbing frame, big ship and a spiritual garden. We'll worth a visit.

The most beautiful playground I've ever seen. Every corner is just special. My little one enjoyed this place a lot.

So impressed with this beautifully maintained playground, especially the huge galleon ship with the climbable mast! Adults, there are plenty of benches here for you :) It is entirely fenced and requires a member of staff to let you in/out of the only locked entrance/exit, so felt really safe. Adults aren't allowed in without a child and I like to think that a small child wouldn't be let out alone either! We had wheely cases with us (burning some energy off before a long train ride!) which was no problem at all. There are kid-friendly toilets within the playground and a large outdoor cafe immediately outside serving ice-cream, drinks, waffles (about £6ish) and pizzas (£10+).

Best playground I've been to, with a huge amount for kids to do. Staffed playground with multiple different play areas, around a nearly life sized pirate ship/sand pit. Lots of fine sand all over so be prepared to get messy. Went with a 5 and 2 year old on a sunny day and could have spent much longer

Amazing! Don’t forget to donate 2£ :) lots and lots of things to do and hidden areas. Easy spent two hours here no problem 😌

A really nice and well kept playground with lots of activities that are fun and good for physical developments and sensory. The playground is fenced in and there is security at the gate to make sure no individual adult enters the playground. So overall it feels safe. However, it gets really busy on weekends, bank holidays and school breaks. Because of Hyde Park being a tourist attraction, parents of younger kids do need to accompany and watch their kids closely to ensure the safety. There could be a lot of teenagers at the playground and lots of kids running and pushing ruthlessly due to lack of parental guidance. Quite a noticeable number of parents don't behave that well themselves, like littering and smoking and it's quite a sad thing to see.

Lovely playground for children but the entrance is not clearly signposted. Additionally, part of the path was closed off inside due to a bee swarm and no effort was made to provide another accessible route around. Sand is incredibly difficult for wheelchairs to traverse and the path closure meant we couldn’t access much of the playground. More attention to access requirements such as paved paths to all the climbing frames, swings, etc. rather than everything being deep sand, would vastly improve this playground and enable all children to access the equipment even if the adult accompanying them relies on a wheelchair.

Excellent playground and sand area for the kids, other little areas like music and tents were fun. Spent a few hours making our way thru everything!

one of the very best play parks we're been at. Kids loved it and we had to return the next day. 2 minutes walk from Queensway tube, small cafe and toilets within the play park. Recommended.

It's a great place for babies and kids. There is restrooms, place for food, different spaces, challenges for kids and in the summer there is water in the playground!

It is very good for children and adults alike. Although it was crowded, it was uniquely peaceful, so calming and charming.

One of the best playgrounds in London. Large ship, water playing fountains, music attractions, tepees and green alleys. Kids didn't want to leave. Cafe offers great pizza and drinks with plenty seating just outside of playground or you can do picnic on grass inside.

Lovely play area for younger children. Sand and water so bring spare clothes and baby powder to clean off sandy feet. Sometimes queues to get in but it's safe and free.

This was a hidden gem I did not expect to find in Central London. The kids absolutely loved it, although I'm secretly glad they didn't discover the water on the other side of the massive sand pit and pirate ship lol! We did have to wait a bit to get in with the safety measures still in place, but the wait time wasn't that long. I'm glad we made the detour to explore the area

Lovely playground, all kids having a wale of a time. My son said it's the best playground he's been in and ' why don't we have one like this where we live' 😆. Perfect to keep your kids happy for a good few hours. Also a great cafe servimg quality ice-cream.

We had a very lovely experience here. My sister & i loved the fact that it appears to be a secured park, from what we gathered, no adults without children are allowed in and no children without adults are allowed out. We felt so safe and at ease with these rules in place and security keeping watch. My kids absolutely loved this park and cried their eyes out when it was time to go home. If they had it their way we would live there lol. The park & cafe staff seemed nice, it was lovely to sit and watch the children play with a nice hot coco. It was like a park of portals, each entrance way we went through, there was a different kind of play area and there was lots of them. We were there for hours and the kids were not bored in the slightest. Will definitely go again.
