We ventured out and took side trip to an amazing little neighborhood in London! There's a beautiful, colorful canal filled with wonderfully decorated houseboats and surrounded by parks, quaint neighborhoods and exciting eateries. You can stroll along both sides of the canal, take a boat ride or just sit and enjoy some incerdible scenery. This one is a must see! A great place to spend the day!

At the western end of Regent's Canal is a triangular, leafy basin that poet Robert Browning christened Little Venice. It is a location with a special atmosphere because of the many colorfully painted houseboats that are moored there. You can board a tour boat here, or start the walk along Regent's Canal to Camden Lock.

Very nice area to walk around. Also, there’s a river boat that takes you to Camden Market. I would highly recommend go there by the boat and get back by underground. The trip takes around 45 minutes but you would experience something different 🙏🏼

Absolute beautiful gem with streams so calm and picturesque. I got to do it on a Go Boat which was part of the package of the Open Aire float in cinema. I would highly recommend everyone experience this it's unlike any other cinema experience and tip make sure you carry pillows, blankets and your own picnic as its allowed that includes drinks as well.

Such a special place to moor for a couple of days. We had to book and pay £10/night but that's well worth it. Very little solar under the trees on the North Mooring, but we spent most of the day out being tourists so that wasn't a problem. The boater facilities at the bridge were a little less than perfect as the gents were out of action completely and the ladies had no toilet paper. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay in Little Venice.

Gardens are well kept and it’s simply a really pleasant place to be in London. Water, trees, blokes fishing quietly. Seven signets passed by early in the day, and I had the distinct impression that they were the same seven I had seen in August this year, further down the canal. Beware of rating bias: I had the privilege of enjoying the day here on a friend’s narrow boat, which upped the experience significantly.

Beautiful little place in London. Lovely bars & restaurants & the walk around the place is lovely. I will say the walk from little venice along the river to Regents Park is not quite so good though.

I went there for the Canalway Cavalcade -a 3 days festival. It was overcrowded and the garden in itself is very small. Maybe try to go there during the weekdays ? It is also the place where you can take a waterbus to go to or from Camden. There are a couple of boats but some of them are more confortable than others. You can prebook in advance for the Waterbus London Cie. Others you have to go there and ask them directly. The average price is £15 one way. But you also have the possibility to rent a boat. You could also take your time and enjoy walking along the canals. That's actually what I should have done 😄

It's a lovely place to walk around, have a coffee on the boat café or rent your own boat and cruise the canal

Stopped here briefly just to soak in the spring sunshine and to use a spare 15-20 minutes to allow some mindfulness. I observed the Happy faces as one or two go-boaters navigated along the canal at Little Venice, the world went by as I sat on a bench and these moments in time were well needed. The area was tidy and the benches located here were clean too. If I'm ever in and around the area again, I will certainly take some time out of the busy day to just sit, listen, and watch the world go by again.

Went down on Mayday Bank Holiday. Lovely atmosphere, children's activities, all money raised went to the canal Trust. Fantastic to have all the barges out amd decorated, enjoying the celebrations!

Was a nice surprise to have this canal with the barges just off a side street, very unexpected! The walkway though is quite narrow, there was only one boat moving. Loads of others were stationary on the algae. It was not too pretty as we hoped. The photo we took was in the nicest part of it.

Rembrandt Gardens in Little Venice is a peaceful and picturesque park with beautiful views of the Grand Union Canal. The park features lush greenery, a small waterfall, and a variety of seating areas, making it a perfect spot for a picnic or a relaxing stroll. The gardens also boast a bronze statue of the Dutch painter Rembrandt, adding an extra touch of culture to the surroundings. It's a hidden gem in the heart of London and a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Is it Venice? Not Quite, But it is a beautiful tranquil place definitely worth a visit on a sunny day preferably from Spring to Autumn, offering superb nature walk and the opportunity to rest and a refreshment in the various floating river boats or on the pubs by the canal.
