Welcoming community that loves Jesus. East London casual, more flannels and skinny jeans than suits and ties.

Incredibly supportive community. Sunday services are very lively and everyone made us feel very welcomed. The premises are also a very nice blend of old architecture (the church, house and grounds) and the new playground for kids, along with the free-to-use gym equipment just behind the church. Very glad we've been coming here and looking forward to be more involved with them.

Completed in 1820, this rebuild presents an elegant silhouette aside the moribund Shadwell Basin Dock. The exterior relatively restrained and undemonstrative boasts an exceptionally elegant and refined baroque tower and spire. The spire, a conspicuous local landmark, succeeds in dispelling with the mannerist affectations associated with this architectural style and effortlessly dominates a local terrain, overwhelmed by the Highway, best described hereabouts as uninspired and enervated: a toxic miasma best avoided if adrift afoot. Grade II Listed surrounded by small garden and toddler’s playground. The church was closed.

One of the lively, charismatic and uplifting church I attended in London so far. It was my regular church when I used to live in Shadwell area; I still miss their lively fellowship. Worship team would genuinely inspire and prepare you for the sermon and pastors overall way of preaching is just magnificent. The church is actively participating in community and always something is going on at the church. Very welcoming church; you would feel homely there.

The community in this church is from another planet! It is from heaven ! :) People are extremely friendly, the work in the community is exceptional, the Sunday family service is just perfect - kids do go for activities with a very prepared team of friendly member of the community (so we can have time for ourselves while trusting who is with our babies and knowing they are enjoying themselves while listening to the God's lessons + playing), and the 6pm service on Sundays are perfect for the days I don't have the kids and can focus more on the quiet time. They offer range of courses and great programmes such as "restored lives" for people going through divorce (which I attended and it was a life changer for me).

Extraordinarily helpful and accommodating with my friend's funeral and the refreshments afterwards. Made the whole event go without a hitch. Thank you.

Active church where James Cook the explorer and seaman worshipped. The dogs love the garden here and the Shadwell Basin on land that used to be owned by the church.

Co-working space has recently opened. Really great traditional building, the team is friendly, the pricing is THE most competitive I have seen in London. I highly recommend.

Great venue to worship God in... Could do with more toilet facilities when hosting 200 people though ✌️🕺😇👋✨ Great to see in the new year with Shift UK!
