Oxleas Woodlands and Meadows one of the largest local nature reserves in London. It’s a nice place to go for a walk and get some fresh air that we can get quite muddy in the woods so definitely bring your wellies with you. There is a café on site where you can get coffee and snacks. There is also an outdoor gym next to the café. Toilets are located in a café, but it needs an update. Parking is quite limited, but you can also park along Rochester Way where there is an entrance to the Woodlands. We had a enjoyable walk.

The woods are great and ancient. The cafe is exactly what you need. Proper nice drinks and chips and classic puddings. I love coming here with the dog, the only issue is parking can be a bit hard sometimes and also it gets very muddy!

Great walk with the dog and friends. Cafe isn’t dog friendly but plenty of seating outside the fenced off area. Not sure what I would do if I was on my own with the dog and fancied a coffee?? Cakes are amazing!

Nice little walk for the dogs. Good place to take pics. Can be muddy in places Nice cafe with delicious hot chocolate If you park near the high hill with the cafe, turn right at the cafe and walk through the forest, eventually you'll hit the gardens with benches then come out where the old turret style house is. Very nice!

One of my top favourite places in the Borough. I've been here countless of times, I love coming here for the walking routes and the view! There is a lovely cafe at the top of the hill, price point is ok but not cheap. I just feel left out because I feel like I was the only one without a dog. 😀

Oxleas Wood Park is a delightful escape with a small food hut offering delicious meals and coffees. The numerous footpaths leading in various directions add to the park's charm, providing exploration opportunities. The lush greenery creates a soothing and calm atmosphere, making it a truly enjoyable park experience.

Great woods, lovely place to walk around, and enjoy the fascinating little parakeets🦜 singing. First time in my life when I see them free in woods. The cafe is the best cafe we ever find around woods or nature parks, great food and lovely staff ♥️ Amazing day out ♥️

Beautiful, calm and charming woods with an abundance of flora and birds. Lots of places to sit and view the panorama from the top before descending the steps and entering the woodland. Touches of early 20th century stonework here and there.

Cafe, where a well-deserved cuppa and cake or meal can be enjoyed after a stroll in the surrounding woods or gardens. Great place for children to run and let off steam and your furry friend to have a great walk. Meet other people with similar interests, i.e., doggy walking or children playing. They have also got an outdoor gym near the cafe. So, there is no excuse for not getting enough exercise in the fresh air. Bus stops nearby, just a small walk to the cafe. And car parking space. Toilets next to the cafe, Accessible by Ramps as is the cafe.

Wonderful experience visiting the woods- free card park- just off the Shooters Hill Road- easy accessibility to the A2. The Oxleas Meadow is well-maintained , there are footpaths leading in key directions. If someone wants, they can venture into the woods (do carry your wellies as it can be wet). Loads of dog walkers in the area. We also visited the cafe- its very popular- with lods of seating indoors and outdoors. Long waiting queue to order food- but it was delivered quickly at our table- the meal was simple yet delicious. Lovely location, easily accessible, will visit again.

Great spot to take your dog for a shady walk. There is woodland and a huge open field on a hill great for tiring the dogs out on a good run. A cafe with public toilets attached and a water fountain close by for humans and dogs. Lots of interesting sights and sounds and sniffs.

Lovely walk and lovely views. Fantastic stop if you want to be immersed in nature. A regular spot for us with the children, they love the greenery and it's perfect to keep fit as you simply do not realise how much walking you are doing 😀

Lovely park with big open spaces and wooded trails. Nice cafe and great for the dogs. Parking can be difficult at peak times. Good for sloe picking if you like them with gin or vodka!

The woods is absolutely beautiful. There is a cafe, bar and toilets as you enter. The parking can be a little tricky as it is quite small but it is free! It is a lovely place to picnic and to just go for a walk I definitely would go back.

I couldn't expect to find a wood just by the city like that. It's massive and has a meadow on a hill, woods, a cafe with toilets, various car parkings, a small hidden pond, weird tree swings, a path for horses and the road divides it from Eltham north park, too!!! Amazing time with my family!

I visited here in February. This is joined to multiple woodland areas and is a good place for walking.

Beautiful wooded area, with views that stretch for miles, great for dog walkers and for wooded walks by yourself or families, onside parking and a fantastic little cafe onside, all round great place to visit.

Great place for taking a stroll with the pooch! The cafe is run by some lovely people, busy at the weekends though, obviously. This is one place in London that doesn't feel like your in London and its beautiful!
