It's a great stop for nice and many different food options and for a great pint of German beer. I frequently visit here and never have a bad experience. The ambiance is very nice and the crowd are young and very nice. Good to go 7 days a week. It's always lively. Good for group meeting and good for a romantic date

Nice food and drink concept - food court. Spoiled for choice. Big place with lots of internal seating. Nice external courtyards to enjoy when the weather is good. Easy acces by tube.

We had lunch here, where you have different food and drink trucks placed in one area. The concept is relatively spread in London as far as I know. It’s a community place for families, couples, and other groups. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. I’ve been craving it for some time, and the selling truck is worth buying from it!

A very cool urban space with lots of great street food options and plenty of bars for drinks. hidden away is also a secret bar with live music. A perfect location for catching up with friends in the evening. I didn't see many families but i imagine during the daytime it's probably quite child friendly. Very busy friday night and There are multiple entrances, at first it can be a bit of a labyrinth but you quickly work out whats what. There's a mini arcade and a boxing gym as well. the only negative is how expensive everything is. Food is standard for london but drinks from the bar are extortionate. Though drinks at some of the food outlets are more reasonable.

Visited in September 2023. 4.5/5. Our first time visit to Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle, offers a great range of international street food cuisine in a spacious environment. The variety of food options is impressive, catering to all tastes. However, the strict security measures, such as confiscating a sealed bottle of water upon entry, felt unnecessary and could be improved, but understandable. The bar has their own takes of cocktails and may have homegrown/independent brands of alcohol, so don’t expect to find your exact tipple of choice here. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to explore different cuisines in a vibrant atmosphere. The Philly Cheesesteak was the standout!

Really nice concept, and friendly staff. You will find a lot of types of cuisine here, and numerous dishes which are being served in here. Atmosphere is very chill, it’s spacious and has plenty of tables for guests - inside as well as outside.

Service here does vary from stall to stall but the overall staff that work for the venue like the security and all the staff that keep the place clean are all very helpful and polite. This venue is massive and there are so many options here are vast, some better than others but there is so much choice. There is lots of seating both inside and out and it is great for larger groups of people especially those with fussy eaters or specific dietary requirements as everyone can choose to eat at their own place. It does get really busy and they have a Dj and lots of events that happen her as well that are definitely worth keeping an eye out for. The vibe is great with a busy, trendy energetic feel. They also have a little boxing zone at this venue. Also has a lot of drinking options, like cocktails, beers and wine bar.. really options are great. It’s perfect for dining before going to the southwark playhouse as it is just across the road and it is easy to get to from either elephant and castle or borough station with various buses that stop right outside the venue. Don’t confuse this place for the mercato at elephant which is nearby but a lot smaller with a different selection and vibe. I highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak stall and badiani gelato and churros!

Really loved visiting this space, there were a lot of food vendors representing different dishes and cuisine from different countries and it was an absolute joy to see so many people on one place for the love of food. Although I didn’t find any African store . Had a great experience overall. Would love to visit again.

Really nice vibe of the market! Be prepared to leave any food in the entrance if you have some in your backpack 😁 no worries it will be returned when you leave! Perfect choice of different world cuisines - this time we tried Sri-Lankian. Good balance of spices, fresh roti, tender lamb, all combined excellently 😍. Definitely recommend!

One of the best food spots in London. The atmosphere is amazing and you can find anything you want. Great food, drinks and music wait to be explored. It can be a bit crowded, but eventually you'll find a seat. Would go again only for the potatoes!

This place is superb 🤩 The food was amazing, especially the pasta 🍝 which all tasted extremely delicious and fresh! The staff there is super friendly and the vibe was 10/10. We went on a date with my partner and we’re planning to be back there very soon. Very excited that Canary Wharf has such a great addition!!! Such a great impression on a quiet Tuesday night! Highly recommended!!!

Great place, dog friendly, good food vendor concepts. Would return. !! A little pricey but expected. MUCH better than borough market if you want hot food and actually want to eat. Borough market is too crowded to even breathe. This was really nice. Security search wont allow bottle of water or even candies- very tacky.

A fascinating and prettily laid out area with plenty of varied food offerings, bars, and inside and outside seating. This would be a great place for after work drinks. You would miss this place if you didn't know it was there as its frontage gives no indication of how large this place is.

Fantastic venue for drinks and an amazing array of street food. There were so many fantastic establishments to choose from and they all looked and smelled fantastic. We opted for Argentinian and Indian food ehich did not disappoint. They were delicious! Will definitely be returning.

This place is amazing!! I was staying at the hotel across the street and was looking for somewhere to eat at THIS WAS IT. They have every single food and cocktail you can dream of, from Indian to African cuisine, and unique places to sit and hangout. The prices are very fair and they have tons of vegan options. It would be a great place to hangout with a group, as they have live music at night. Highly recommend whether you are a solo traveler or family.

This place is massive! With more than 30 (probably more) food stalls, and lots of drinking stalls, this place is the ultimate food court. Great vibes, nice music, and very nice ambience for both indoor and outdoor seating, this place is a really good place to meet up in all kinds of groups, big or small. It has all kinds of cuisines: Vietnamese, Korean, Latin American, sandwiches, pizzas, Greek, Turkish, Indian there is no lack of options here. It’s open till late too, so a great place to hangout!

So many food stalls to choose from. Food was very worth it for the money. Me and my partner were full with our own meals. Will come back to try more other dishes from around the world.

Great place for drinking and eating. Beer not overly priced for 1: craft and 2: London. Fantastic selection of places for food and plenty of seating both inside and out. We had a meat platter XXL which was enough for 5 hungry men.

Great hangout place where you can get food from all over the globe and drinks so choice is unlimited and you will bound to find what you want to eat. Very chilled vibe is great for gathering with friends and compared to other food market venues, this one feels more spacious and not too cluttered. The only thing I felt is that the food stall branding is somewhat boring, there’s no individual identity of the stalls which is a shame.

very cool food market! great variety of international food from all over the world. the quality of food we ate was amazing, the taste was world class. had pork belly from south america, it was so delicious, the meat was soooo tender. almost like pulled pork but as a whole. and the ribs were amazing as well. the sauce was great. the bar areas and the biergardens are a great addition to create a unique flair

We went in the afternoon and then on Saturday night... What a difference. The afternoon experience was super chill, beer and gin made onsite, with indoor and outdoor seating. The night experience was packed!! What a popular place. The loaded fries we ate were amazing and the club/dancing outside with the live DJ was a great time. Must see any time of day!!
