This park is a gem for Lewisham. 2 free tennis courts, one basketball court, ping pong table, outdoor gym equipments, big play area, children’s playground with sandpit. For the garden lovers there is a community garden with fruit and veggies and lovely wooden benches to sit and relax. There is a formal garden as well with roses and flowering climbers. Has got a band stand and because of the big open space is used for big events. There is a cafe in the centre and toilets as well. The woodlands are amazing for running, having a walk with the dog or exploring. The view from the top is great.

What a beautiful spot for a walk. Great being able to look over to the docks while taking in the relaxed sounds of the gardens. There are lots of different paths it is worth noting though that it is very hilly in places and the paths are not good for buggies or those in wheelchairs unless you like a bumpy ride!

This park is a large expanse with many different areas. There’s a place for children with lots of playground area. There’s a garden area with a community section, pillars, and lots of greenery. There are large areas of grass to walk or lounge in, or to bring dogs to. The trail goes through the park as well as around the edge of the park, and includes an area that is heavily wooded and covered by trees as well as a wildlife area that is untouched and left to the plants and animals, other than the addition of a path, park bench, and signs explaining the area of the park. Overall a lovely place for a relaxing stroll, a picnic, or to take your children to during the day!

It's one of my local green spaces. It has everything you would need in a community park. A small farmed area with berries and fruits. Please read the notices before picking. A children's swing park with climbing frames and sand pits. Tennis courts that the council wanted to privatise, that is now under review from pressure from the community who wish to oppose the sell off. Gently rolling hills that allow for a varied walking experience. There are views over Catford from the higher vantages that allow you to have a unique of the Borough. You can find a bench and just be at peace, breathing in the cleaner air away from the traffic.

I'm going to review the features and services within this park and then give my overall review. Starting with: Space: This park is massive. There's so much space everywhere even after all the features within it which is really nice. There are a lot of benches and sitting areas throughout the park for those looking to just relax and enjoy the weather. Features: There are a so many features within the park such as: Gym area Play area for kids Ice cream truck stop Basketball court x2 Public Garden / Orchid Coffee Shop w/ Halal hot dogs Tennis court x 2 Foot ball area x2 Table tennis table Bike parking It's worth noting that the listed features were all well kept and in good condition. Services: The ice cream truck and the coffee shop are some of the key services available within this park. You can get an ice cream for 99p which is a really nice price especially for those visiting with their family. Hygiene: The whole park was really clean, which is an impressive feat considering its size. There's a handful of bins spread out throughout the park incase you have some litter you need to dispose off. Summary: Overall, this park is really good and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit or walk through like I did.

Mountsfield Park in Lewisham offers a charming escape from city life with its lush greenery and well-maintained pathways. Perfect for relaxation or outdoor activities, it's a true gem in the heart of the city.

An attractive sweep of grass set on a slope offering a panoramic view the defining motif of a park with a full complement of amenities. The usual sporting facilities a communal garden, a woodland perimeter and a container café with toilet. Seemingly a work in progress this already presents as one of London’s memorable medium-sized parks.

Lovely park, whether for running, walking your dogs, taking the kids to the park, or just for a stroll. Cafe and toilets in the park, both open until 4pm, park currently shuts at 5pm. Also outside exercise equipment and bandstand! Went on a lovely crisp day, sat on a bench out of the way of the main footpath to eat my lunch, in what seems to be the dog walking/running field, lovely dogs half coming over as I had a sausage roll lol. But all very well disciplined and owners called them back before they reached me (though I would have been fine!) It's on a hill so view of sorts, over residential buildings but lovely to see the sun set anyway!

Nice park with a safe enclosed play area for children. Plenty of space to walk around, exercise or just relax. There are a few bits of exercise equipment (bars) dotted around, and a community veg garden to explore. Would recommend any time of year.

Gem of a park, especially if you're a dog walker. Highly recommend a visit to the cafe for a snack, gelato, or even a pizza!

Clean and cosy green space for some fresh air and sun basking during summer. If you are lucky enough you can watch a football game in the field.

My favourite local park! So nice that is in a hill so you have a view, plus so many other nice things like the garden, roses, cafe, playground, green, exercise equipment, and lots of edible things to forage, though those are everywhere really!

Really nice park lots to do here. Courts to play in and outdoor exercise equipment to try out. The play park is lovely and they have a sandpit. Bring your own bucket and spade so you don't have to share the ones provided. The park is big so you can use it for running and has a hill for incline.

A nice local park with nice variety of playground equipment, but mainly for young kids. Lots of open areas for football or frisbee. The cafe has some nice options too, and serves pizza.

Lots of space and plenty of areas to do various bits. Tennis courts, basket ball courts, cricket field, outside gym, kids play area, lovely little cafe with great coffee and cake. Super Dog friendly. And a dedicated vegetable patch. Quite sweet really. It’s improved a lot.
