Magnificent church designed by Christopher Wren as the prototype for St. Paul’s Cathedral - a must see if you’re in the area of Bank in London - a short walk from the tube station - it is where the Samaritans were founded. The temple of Mithras is just across the road.

Lovely Church commonly known as the "Round Church" beacause of it's circular Alter and Pews. The acoustics are fantastic and many Classical Music Events are held here at Lunch Time and Evening. Close to London Bridge and Momument.

A beautiful Wrenn Church. Holds reqular concerts. Significant as the birth place of the Samaritans. Has a round altar currently. A nice bright and airy church.

Great to see the church the puritan great Thomas Watson preached at from 1646 to 1662.

An indifferent exterior belies an elegant, understated and becalmed interior. Here you will find one of the most beautiful formal spaces in all London. Wondrous and uplifting. Now what are you waiting for ?

There is a small Churchyard Garden, perfect for somewhere to stop, rest and reflect. There are a few seats in a clean and tidy space away from the hussle and brussle outside.

If you visit the London Mithreum in the nearby Bloomberg building, please take a moment to visit this wonderful gem designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the architect that designed St Paul's Cathedral.

Beautiful Wren Church with a magnificent dome. The church has been modernised at various times, not all of them entirely sympathetically, the Henry Moore altar is impressive but not entirely in keeping with the whole edifice. Definitely worth a visit however.

Another one of Wren’s great works. I’m glad to have entered after passing by so many times. A beautifully detailed dome rebuilt after the great fire of 1666. A great visit for any lover of architecture/ history, City of London worker or tourist.

Absolutely magical - it must be experienced because videos and pictures don't do this event justice. It's incredible and very moving; most of us left the building in tears of joy

A brilliant sanctuary in these Lockdown times. I'm not sure when it's open, I just happened across it on passing. Wow! A rectangular church with a dome, apparently Chris Wren's first dome. You can see he got it right first time - then continued on to build St. Paul's! The altar (by Henry Moore) is slap bang in the centre under the dome. Think of theatre in the round - church-wise. What an imagination that man had! Go in for a bit of peace & quiet, your soul will thank you.

This is a beautiful light and airy church. It's quite small and intimate. I went to see a choral recital there and the acoustics are perfect for that.
