We had brunch here and I was pretty happy with my American pancakes, which had some extremely crisp blueberries and a great bacon / maple combination. They even cooked the bacon extra crispy for me. It’s also three pancakes in the stack so I was very satisfied. My friend had the pancake royal and was pretty disappointed. She paid £4.5 extra for avocado and it was a single dollop that tasted sour. And sadly, while the menu said it came with asparagus, they served it with a single spear. Quite underwhelming. It was also crazily loud inside - the tables are pretty close together so you can hear all your neighbour’s conversation. It’s got a pretty chaotic vibe (shouting and dogs and servers running everywhere), so not the place for a relaxed brunch. That said, they’re definitely dog-friendly and have a great outdoor area, which I’m sure is lovely in summer!

I wanted to like it, I really did. First off - prices are a bit outrageous for what you get. Pancakes are tasty, but why does it take so long to make them? Plus, having just one shared toilet is a bit annoying - and so is the fact that the lock is broken. Overall the food is decent and the experience okay, but anyone expecting a genuinely great experience, I believe, will be disappointed. The saving grace is the coffee.

Excellent range of pancake options with some innovative combinations, the pear and salted caramel option was particularly nice. There is also a variety of savoury dishes. It's all really well cooked, seasoned and presented. Only downside is it's a long wait to get served - I'd advise booking in advance to avoid a long wait to get a seat too!

I discovered Pancake heaven...🥞😩 . I'm a HUGE pancake lover and made my fair share of stacks. But I haven't tried many pancake places in London so it was about time. I heard good things about @wherethepancakesare so decided to finally pay them a visit 😌 Make sure to make a booking yourself, it was absolutely packed on the weekend! . 📍Locations: Fitzrovia, Battersea Power Station, Flat Iron Square 🙌Overall rating: 9/10 💰Price: £25pp (cocktail, coffee and pancakes each) . We had: 🍐Poached pear & caramel - with salted caramel and house cream 🥓American - three buttermilk pancakes with bacon, blueberries and maple syrup 🍳English breakfast - two pancakes with bacon, Cumberland sausage, fried egg, tomatoes and beans 🥞Royal - two pancakes with eggs, hollandaise, tarragon and asparagus . 🌱For some of the pancakes they offer vegetarian/vegan alternatives. They also have dairy-free, vegan and wheat-free pancake batter, otherwise you get their buttermilk batter. . I absolutely loved my poached pear pancakes and everyone else's looked fabulous too so I'll surely be back to try more 😍

YUM!!! This place!! I’ll for sure come back to it again because this place was so good. They offer savory and sweet pancakes and I went for breakfast. The lemonade was super fresh and was really good. The pancakes was very very delicious, the avocado and the poached eggs were perfectly made. There is was a slight mistake in the bill and order but staff handled it really well and very professionally. They were also lovely and friendly. Cant wait to try the sweet pancakes!

You go to a restaurant for three things. Food, service, and ambience. I wish I could give 6 stars! The gluten free pancakes for my wife and children were exceptional, and tailored to their own preferences. The full English Breakfast was outstanding! And our service was impeccable. Attentive and communicative from a gentleman with an Irish accent. He made the experience perfect.

It was my first time here (I booked it for a special occasion) and the staff were incredibly friendly and warm. The pancakes were really well made too. I had the Poached pear & caramel pancake (pictured) and my partner had a maple and butter stack. The textures and flavours were just perfect and didn't take ages to arrive either. Whilst the place was busy, it wasn't super loud and uncomfortable too and at no point did we feel we were being pushed out. I'd definitely return to try some of their other offerings. Oh and the Spanish lattes were really good too.

Amazing place! We didn’t have a reservation but the host was amazing and managed to get us seating inside as my friend is pregnant. Service was great and super friendly. Large selection of choices, sweet or savoury. I loved that you can get vegan options and there are healthier options too. We all loved our dishes, great coffee as well! Will be back!

Arrived just after 11am on a Friday for brunch. Did not have a reservation but was able to grab a table outside (which was preferred since the weather was sunny). The coffee was perfectly prepared and had great flavors. The pancakes were delicious and extremely filling. We will be back - highly recommend!

Lovely brunch place, especially if you are a pancake lover. The service was great- our server was tall with short blonde hair and absolutely lovely!! The portions are okay, coffee is good and prices are standard. I recommend

Tried a savoury and sweet one, they were actually tastier than I expected (maybe it’s been a while since I’ve pancaked). Would recommend the sweet one for anyone who can already make pancakes at home, there are more components involved. One of the heaters outside was broken so we were slightly cold, however they did supply blankets.

As we were meeting friends the day before Pancake Day, we thought it'd be fitting to see if we could find a Pancake House for lunch. And what a find! This was an absolute delight! The place is very popular so definitely recommend booking but the Pancakes were well worth the wait. They were so fluffy and tasty that we were only sorry we didn't have enough time before our exhibition slot to try the dessert ones as well but we have every intention of going back to do so! There is indoor and outdoor seating and they even provide blankets! The staff are hard working whilst managing to be attentive and friendly when very busy.

Lovely little place! Great pancakes with a nice selection of savoury, sweet, and sweet&savoury choices! Also good veggie options. I went for Royal regular with salmon, and asparagus while the colleagues I was with went for vegetarian English breakfast and Banana marshmallow, we all loved our choices! I would recommend to book in advance as it can be quite busy and for lunch it’s quite popular in the area! Nice outdoors seating area with blankets provided for the colder season too. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait long to get our order. Came here for work lunch twice and both times our group enjoyed the experience, will come back soon as I am yet to try the sweet ones!

It was lovely, the food was delicious and also the matcha was good! Great aesthetic and service was so nice! :) I just had to wait to get a table and also a 30 minute wait for our pancakes to arrive. So we were quite starving. The menu was delicious w vegan, vegetarian and allergic specification! And also its quite expensive, it was £36 pound + service that they add. And to be honest they were so good but just 2 pancakes :( But definitely worth it if u want a nice breakfast

The pancakes had new tastes to my palette. I wonder if every dish has a significant taste. Tbh most restaurants in London serves pancakes that taste as pound cakes but this one was fluffy and the portion is perfect. Often, I eat half of the portion only. I want to drop them another visit to try other dish.

Went here with my family with 2 kids aged 9-10. The menu has a wide range of pancake options for all tastes. For the kids you can get plain pancakes and add any extras you like from the list. Pulled beef pastrami pancakes and cheese dutch baby were delicious! The only upside down was that we waited way too long for our food.

I was only here for an hour because the place is so busy and popular. There is the pressure for staff to get people in and out ! I had the savoury pancakes with salmon and spanish latte. The pancakes were delicious, latte was cold so the waiter topped it up with milk which took away the sweetness but 10 for effort. Overall worth a visit if you want to try. My food and drink cost around £18.

The place is recommended in one of the Topjaw videos and we were not disappointed! The pancakes were, whether salty or sweet super fluffy, fresh and simply delicious. The coffee was also good and the atmosphere cozy. A reservation is recommended, but if you are there early enough, you can still find a place.

Waited a little while after being seated for waiter to take our order. Qr codes are on table to show menu, but can't order using qr code. Never saw a waiter again after being served. The pancakes were a little dry for me but the cooked breakfast was very nice. Very easy to make changes to meal.

Delicious Pancake 🥞 Factory!! Great range of pancakes perfectly synonymous with its name ! Savoury and sweet options , service is fairly decent and I really loved the ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Fairly priced but can do better with its accompaniments or options .

I was there last summer during a perfect, clear, warm day, and it couldn't have been better. Starting with the menu, there are so many cool options that it's difficult to choose just one thing. The service is also very good, the guy who served me was very polite and kind, he found a table for me to sit outside, even though I didn't have a reservation, which was great because I was able to enjoy the weather with a beautiful view. I will definitely be back again on my next visit to London.

Not as I expected, not much flavor in the batter just normal and simple pancakes. Service was ok, we have to ask for everything… napkins, sauce, sugar, honey, jam, in other tables was already there but in ours nothing was there. In my opinion for the price we must’ve better flavor and better service. Place was not much full of people when we arrive around 9:30am, but after 30 mins was a big queue.

lovely place! it was different to try a pancake with bacon and maple syrup together but I liked it. I thought that the pancake itself would be sweet but it is not. it has a salty taste. the location is great, I love seeing The shard in the background.

We tried the English breakfast, pulled BBQ chicken, banana & salted caramel and the poached pear pancakes (the best one). Small portions and definitely on the pricey side. The restaurant is quite cramped. Would not recommend queuing for this.

I have to say that I was disappointed with my experience. After much hype and considered one of the best pancake spots in London it failed to meet the expectation. The pancakes we found to be dry and just lacked the wow factor that we had expected. We were surprised that they were a bit stingy on the sauce and cream that accompanied the pancakes. If there was more added it would have made it more enjoyable. The service that we experienced was dire and lacked enthusiasm. It just lacked the basics. The gentlemen who was front of house did a great job for us at the beginning but as soon as we sat down at our seat we found the service lacked the basics. It took 20-30mins before anyone came to see us. And the two ladies that served us did not seem happy. The service lacked warmth or a smile. It just seemed bland from start to finish. Some might read and think this is an over reaction or exaggeration but we can definitely say that this was our experience. If you are planning to go I would advise to book in advanced, however they save half the seating for walk ins but that doesn’t automatically guarantee that you will get a spot at the time you arrive.

A very nice experience; a highly recommended place. My friend and I ordered two Greek yoghurts with homemade granola and fresh fruit, and two plain pancakes (one with a poached egg). They were confused when they brought us one of the hot drinks but as soon as we told them, they changed it for us without any problem. The place is so beautiful and the service was great. A very comfortable place to have breakfast; we will repeat when we return to London
