Really
lovely
place
to
stay
with
friendly
and
helpful
staff,
beautiful
grounds,
and
spotlessly
clean
facilities.
Dining
room
is
always
open
with
a
fridge
to
store
your
food
and
a
microwave
to
heat
it,
as
well
as
cutlery
and
plates.
There
is
a
tea
and
coffee
station
always
available
too.
Breakfast
is
provided
in
the
dining
room
every
morning
from
7:30
to
9:00
should
you
wish
to
purchase
it
for
less
than
£4.
There
is
also
a
TV
room,
games
room,
and
computer
with
printing
services
available.
Pax
Lodge
is
brimming
with
history
about
the
building
and
the
World
Association
of
Girl
Guides
and
Girl
Scouts.
There
are
QR
codes
on
the
walls
for
a
self-guided
tour,
maps
where
visitors
can
mark
their
home
towns,
and
places
where
girls
can
trade
badges
or
pen-pal
letters
from
around
the
world.
The
entire
building
has
a
strong
educational
focus
with
suggested
activities
and
information
about
sister
lodges
in
Africa,
Switzerland,
Asia
and
Mexico.
There
are
also
flag
raising
and
badge
pinning
ceremonies
on
offer.
A
very
family-friendly,
safe,
and
quiet
place
in
a
beautiful
location
of
London.
Shops
are
a
few
blocks
away
as
is
Hampstead
Heath.
You
will
feel
welcomed
and
at-home
here.
Staff
are
a
diverse
group
of
amazing
people
from
around
the
world,
and
they
are
always
willing
to
help
and
answer
questions.
This
is
a
hostel
environment
so
you
are
expected
to
do
some
things
yourself
like
cleaning
up
if
you
have
your
own
meal
in
the
dining
room.
You
also
need
to
keep
your
room
card
on
your
person
at
all
times
when
you
move
about
the
building.
A
code
is
needed
to
enter
the
building
from
outside
at
night.
Staff
are
available
out
of
hours
but
it
means
waking
someone
up
so
you
should
take
extra
care
to
remember
your
card!
Quiet
hours
are
10pm
to
8am.
Rooms
are
clean
and
include
a
sink.
Toilets
and
showers
are
communal
-
but
they
are
kept
so
clean
you
won't
mind!
Hair
styling
tools
are
available
and
you
can
store
luggage
downstairs
during
your
stay.
There
is
also
a
little
shop
that
sells
Girl
Guides
memorabilia
and
travel
items.
The
front
and
back
gardens
are
gorgeous
and
great
places
to
picnic
when
the
weather
is
nice.
The
other
wing
of
the
building
houses
the
Olave
Centre,
a
venue
for
conferences
and
other
types
of
business
meetings.
You
will
fall
in
love
with
this
place
and
meet
some
lovely
people
too.
I
cannot
recommend
it
highly
enough.
