Good food, fast service 👌 stuff are good too. Terrace is lovely and i love sitting outside. Inside it’s quite small and packed, tables could be more comfortable as I struggle to fit my legs. It’s medium priced. It’s located a minute away from South Kensington underground station. Good selection of drinks and food to choose from. Everything was tasty. 😋 I would recommend

The food here was good, arrived quickly and was reasonably priced for the area. There were vegetarian and vegan options available.

What a beautiful restaurant in the heart of London. We visited here after a trip to the nearby museums. The interior decor and the whole vibe is next level. The food is so sososososososo good we cleaned our plates. They serve Lebanese (like a fusion: Mediterranean + Middle Eastern) cuisine. Trust me if you have not tried, and especially if you like Greek and Turkish food, try Lebanese.

Well where do I start. We had an interesting experience at comptoir libanais, we got seated relatively quickly - after the first waiter forgot about us waiting when she said she was going to clean the table but seemingly forgot. We then never were asked if we wanted any drinks, or food and I had to get the attention of someone, whilst people around us also were moaning for not being served. Had to ask for water 3 times before we got any. The food was alright, and tbf the staff were friendly when we actually got their attention. Deffo could have been better

Overall: ★★★☆☆ A solid three stars for this Lebanese style restaurant best suited to tourists. The menu contains something for everyone although I don’t think the mezze platter for two was good value at all at £24!! The chips at almost £5. . It was bustling full of out of tourists and not a place for locals or families. It’s too busy, slow indifferent service and not good for families. Water was served in a pretty hot glass which was painful to deal with. I mean it was obviously hot but the server plonked it down and moved off. Food: Lebanese style What I liked: • The chips • The falafels • The dips What I didn’t like: • NASTY, horrible ketchup. The cheapest you can get and not a patch on Heinz. • Small portion sizes (=poor value) • Doesn’t cater well for vegetarians • Slow, indifferent service • The flat bread was awful and didn’t go well with the minute portion of hummus etc Do I recommend going? NO Will I go again? YES (if hungry and desperate) Was it good value? NO Price Point: $$

My first time trying Lebanese food and it was so good! The dip and sauce were so special but really tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever had something similar before. Will come back soon

Such a great spot for a pre expo dinner if you’re heading to the V&A, or anywhere in the area! We got the shared meze between two and it was the perfect size with a few cocktails! Absolutely loved all the colours in the shop, staff were really friendly and helpful, food came out fast; all great.

Great atmosphere and the food didn’t take long at all. Amazing vibe with Arabic decorations inside. Would recommend!

A post graduation afternoon lunch/early dinner This was an unexpected find and highly enjoyable. The ambience was really good. The food was hot and very tasty. Enjoyed outside under a huge awning, people watching, whilst chatting over a lovely meal with fine drinks too. The interior was briefly visited and appeared interesting and elegant. The only negative thing was the slow service. I will return.

They were nice enough to let us enter after their last order timing. Still they did not rush us to finish our food. Very good service and food. Will recommend to friends who visit London.

Dining at Comptoir Libanais in South Kensington was an unforgettable sensory adventure. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere, adorned with colorful lamps and paintings of iconic figures, created a cool and eclectic ambiance. Even the kids were engaged by the intriguing artworks. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff remained friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. The true highlight was the food, bursting with fresh, spicy flavors that left a lasting impression. The starters, featuring a delightful platter of olives and flatbread, were a hit, especially with the kids. The main courses were equally delightful; my partner's fish dish topped with pomegranate seeds offered a refreshing and satisfying contrast. I opted for the plate with three types of meat, complemented perfectly by a fresh salad and tantalizing dipping sauce. The sangria, with its citrus flavor, was a refreshing addition to the meal. The only drawback was the restaurant's popularity, resulting in a bustling crowd. Nevertheless, I'd eagerly revisit on a quieter night to relish the experience even more.

Firstly what amazing customer service, even when they are incredibly busy, they always have a smile on their face and ensure your visit is a delightful one. Roxanna and Khalid are an absolute asset to the business. Their incredible service have made me a regular here for a quick solo lunch or a dinner with friends. The food is fresh, tasty, the menu has a good range of items and it is all presented beautifully. Quirky interior design is an added bonus.

Perfect spot for lunch along the road between the museums and the Tube station. Friendly fast service of mouth watering middle eastern food - spiced lamb kofta has never tasted so good! Skip the chips and take the potatoes for their flavour! Marvellously decorated interior with views put to the busstling street to people watch. Good value. Recommended.

Good middle eastern food in Kesington, Central London. The place has some character thanks to the quirky wall decor. Food was standard middle eastern fare. Not disappointing. Good place to refuel after a trip to the museums.

Comptoir is one of those places where you are served decent and delicious libanais food. Friendly staff brought us to the table and the dinner was served quite well. Portions are value for money and the Mix grill satisfied my appetite. Full recommendations.

Food is good as usual. Was not really happy with the server who was at door helping customers for table. She was rude and literally shouting at us, why we sat at table. Well the fact is the other staff member asked to sit the table as out turn came. The first staff member kind of our experience. Their platter and mezze are great. Since we feeling adventurous we ordered the rice pudding but it was way to sweet for us. Felt like having sugar.

Loved the food! Not much of atmosphere comparing to other locations I have visited. Staff wasn’t very attentive and there was constant loud phone ringing sound from reception desk (I assume delivery calls) which was very disturbing and probably did ruin the ambiance. We were sitting inside, so outside probably would be better.

We got a few small plates so we could try a mix of things. We got the falafel, Tony’s hommos, Lebanese wings and mixed grill. The food was very good, especially the meat and hommos, would come back. Service was very slow, I did have to call many times for attention or just get up to even get additonal sauces. Tables are community style so you are sat very close with others which can get uncomfortable, especially when the people next to you don’t want to shift or move for you.

Very good experience at Comptoir Libanis this afternoon. Service staff went out of their way to find a table for our family of 6, despite it being busy lunch hour. The food was very good. The hummus was tasty and creamy. The beef skewer was soft and savoury. Definitely recommended dining for anyone after a day at the museums!

I would say our experience was very nice. The food was very good. As a Lebanese person, I thought the Lebanese mezza were good. I'm a fan of Labne, and it was made really well. The hummus was also delicious, and the tabbouleh was sour, which I like. However, I chose this place because I was craving tagine, and it's been a while since I had a good one. While it was good, I wouldn't say it was as good as the Moroccan tagine I used to have. It didn't feel 100% authentic. The desserts were delicious, especially the brownie with the rose petals! And the fresh rose mint tea was amazing. Service was really good, waiters were really professional.

Amazing found in South Kensington! We accidentally found this place while searching for somewhere to eat. We did have to stand in line for a while as it was lunchtime, but probably not more than 10 minutes. Waitress was very polite and found us a place very quickly. We drank some really good lemonades (pomegranate & orange blossom and lemon & rose) which I higly reccommend. They were really fresh and nice. We took mezze platter as first time there, and didn't regret it, it was awesome! The interior of the place is really vibrant and fun, and waiters are friendly. We didn't wait for our food for too long. Falafels and baba ganoush are a must try. We liked it so much that we came back to eat a few days later again. Definitely worth a try!!

Very nice place . We ate outside and asked for blankets so we were cozy. Also they have gluten free options for intolerants, and dairy free and egg free options

Great place for a quick dinner after a museum visit. Do note that it is not authentic Lebanese flavours, but it is still yummy. The homemade drinks and the desserts were simply amazing.

We loved the fact that they'd installed heaters on the wall, so that our Al fresco dining was enjoyable at night time. The service and the food was excellent and a lovely vibe too.

Loved the food! They made us wait 15-20 mins in the cold for a table when there were so many tables available.

A must go place, 10 out of 10 to the girls who prepared in no time our table. They were clearly overwhelmed by the quantity of customers queuing outside and to be served inside, but they were absolutely fantastic. Food was great and we had our Kofte in 15 minutes or so, so will be back for sure

Loved the place Had a lovely time with a friend. The service was so quick that I have never experienced such quick servicing before. Food was delicious 😋

Food was good with good portion sizes. Service was also ok considering how busy it was. The tables are veryyyy close together and so makes it quite uncomfortable. I had the chicken kofta which was nice , not as flavourful as I would’ve expected. I think there are better things on the menu that I could’ve tried.

Unfortunately the grill was not working or the score would be higher. The kibbeh was amazing!! The mezze and other dishes were okay. Very busy bit we did not wait long to be seated. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. Not suitable for wheelchairs unless sitting outside. Toilets are downstairs.

We ordered a mezze platter for one & a couple of other things. It had good variety of food but we didn’t like the taste a lot. Service was quick and the vibe of the place was quite cool with well done interiors. Location of the restaurant is amazing, right in the heart of Kensington.

Wonderful place to eat. Staff were excellent and attentive. I changed the rice for hummus and it was no trouble.. fantastic tasty menu.. not expensive for this part of London.. would highly recommend. I had the mix grill xx Gia our server was just fabulous and a credit to the restaurant x

Was a good option after the museum visit. The food was ok, but not so authentic Lebanese though. I would give it 5 stars for the location and decoration, quite apeeling. The food is fine, won't pick it for the food. All in all positive experience.

Good Lebanese chain restaurant. Very touristy and family friendly. Lots of tables available inside and outside. Good for groups dinners and lunches. Portions are generous. Friendly staff.

We popped in for a snack after being to the Albert Hall. There was a delicious menu with something for everyone. There isn't a huge amount of seating so can be best to visit out of peak period if possible. Service was pretty quick but it was quite difficult to get the attention of the waitress when wanted to order and pay. I had a dessert which was delicious, full of flavour and well cooked..

Had to wait a good while for table but we'll worth it as food was delicious and not too costly. Recommend the mixed grill and mixed plater. Very nice tabolaha and hummus. Salads very tasty & meat nicely grilled. All round very positive atmosphere.
