What a nice surprise to find the TARDIS right in front Earl’s Court Station. I literally screamed when I saw it. I couldn’t figure out if it really was bigger on the inside, but I had a nice fangirl moment pretending the Doctor was out there somewhere trying to save the day.

Saw a man with a crazy long scarf go in once only to see a blonde woman in a long tan coat come out seconds later. Must be a secret club down there or something. Scarf guy had some great sweets.

‘Doctor Who’, the long-running BBC documentary series, has never mentioned that The Doctor lives in Earl’s Court, and parks the Tardis outside the main entrance to the Tube Station. The Tardis was deliberately designed to look like a police telephone box, to blend with its surroundings, and not be noticed. That made perfect sense in Britain in the 1960s when police boxes were common, but seems hard to believe these days, and especially when you consider that The Doctor, being a Time Lord, travels all over space-time. You’d think your typical prehistoric hyper intelligent alien space monster, would notice a big blue shed with a flashing light on top, especially when it appears in their high-street, blocking access to the subway station. But incredibly it works, and nobody notices the Tardis. Go to Earls Court and see for yourself. It’s quite difficult to find, but keep looking. As you leave the station, it’s right in front of the station entrance. It’s big, and blue, and has a light on top, and it’s in front of you. Once you’ve found it, look around, and you’ll see that nobody else notices it. Many people live in Earl’s Court and use this station every day to commute to work, and don’t know the Tardis is here. Look carefully at the blank faces of the people going past. Yes, that’s what happens when you run for a train and don’t notice the blue wall that’s blocking your route. Don’t worry that The Doctor and the Tardis could be away on an adventure on the day you visit. The Tardis is able to go anywhere in four dimensional space-time, and is always returned to the same place and at the same moment it left - so it doesn’t ever appear to move. This practice is becoming very common in London, so people who have cars without this feature, are finding it almost impossible to park.

Great place to take a photo with the Tardis. If you are a Doctor Who fan, it's a must stop location. If you not a fan, it's still a great photo opportunity. I also took a couple of photos looking in from the window. I recommend stopping here.

Shush! This is the Doctor's TARDIS in its usual camouflage! And of course it is smaller outside 😉 One of the few police boxes still out there, and for sure, it gets all the attention from us, whovians, who love to go there, taking some pictures, and even emulate the Doctor and/or his/her companions. Allons-y!

Our hotel was near here and I did wonder whether it was a legacy police box left over from the 1960s, or a Doctor Who-inspired reproduction. Turns out it's neither: it's the sole remnant of a failed experiment in reviving the classic police box in the 1990s. It is no longer a functioning police box, just a thing to see, but the police do keep it painted.

Not every day you get to see a Tardis Police Box so it is worth seeing. The location is right outside the tube station. Sadly you can't go inside it.

I walked out of the tube station and found myself an abandoned Tardis. Great picture opportunity for a Dr. Who fan if you're already in the area.

I'm a fan of Doctor Who and just seeing the police box was satisfying. It's a nice scenic stop if you're around the Earl's Court area. Now I'll still be giving this a 5 star despite it not being able to be open. It was also clean. Minor note: You can not use this to call the 999. 😂

Where the lamp on top should be is a CCTV camera. Do something daft and cheer up the poor sods watching the screens all day.

It wasn't there when I arrived. I went to get a pint across the road and then I swear it suddenly appeared. That was one hell of a drink.

Tardis with broken Chameleon circuits outside Earls Court Station. if you're in the area worth a quick visit for a selfie. Gave it 5 stars as I'm a long time fan of Dr Who. Non fans of the show, one of which I encountered on the day I stopped by for selfies, will wonder what the fuss is about.

Amazing for Doctor Who fans. Right out of the Tube on the District Line. We popped out, quick selfie, visited the souvenir shop next to it - then back on the Tube. No mucking about in Time and Space. ALSO VISIT “THE WHO SHOP” IN UPTON (same line)

The iconic TARDIS is a must-stop photo spot for any fan living in or visiting London. Located just outside the Earl's Court Train Station, you can't miss it--just climb the stairs to see it on the sidewalk. (I do wish there were a little more open space around it for the picture's sake, but that's the only downside.) I was told it was bigger on the inside. Enter and explore other dimensions and timelines at your own risk!

Don't know why so many people like this place. Small, unattractive, and there's this lady with a silver stick who looked and sounded like she was gonna sell me drugs. When she went in, it looked bright in there, but I didn't investigate.

It's just a box. Next to some bins. It's a bit gross but if you want a Dr Who type experience with only a mid-level stench of garbage, this is for you.

Opened in 1996, police box is based on the Mackenzie Trench design familiar to Londoners during the 1960s. It was equipped with CCTV cameras and a telephone to contact the police.

So surreal, after seeing the TARDIS for so many years, on the television, to finally seeing one IRL. Thank you again to the American couple who lent us a sonic screwdriver for other pics. (Apr/May 2019)

This is where you can find a real-size police box from 60s’ just go out from earls court station and youll see it, on left side if youre from earls court station. I dont think it is there because of doctor who, i guess it once had been as popular as telephone box,
