I
would
give
B&Q
Bell
Green
a
wide
berth.
Not
only
are
their
store
stock
control
records
so
disorganised,
that
none
of
their
available
stock
is
recorded
for
the
online
shopper,
they
are
too
understaffed
to
assist
their
customers
with
a
prompt
till
service
or
adequate
customer
advice.
The
store
floor
supervision
is
also
grossly
inadequate
and
rude.
I
say
this
because
whilst
I
attended
the
store
Saturday
evening
last
week,
to
collect
an
online
order
and
noticed
a
pair
of
size-fitting
Mid
Soles
which
were
incidentally
listed
as
"Not
Available
at
this
Store"
online,
I
noticed
the
till
checkout
Only
had
two
Staff
manning
a
checkout
queue
that
was
10
customers
deep.
So,
when
a
staff
member
kindly
allowed
me
to
use
the
active
Self-service
checkout
till
on
the
right
hand
side
of
the
vast
queue,
I
proceeded
to
scan
and
pay
for
my
Mid
Soles
by
Debit
Card.
Suddenly,
I
was
racially
profiled
and
ambushed
by
a
furious,
scrawny,
balding
little
Indian
man
in
a
Checkout
Apron,
who
attempted
to
accuse
me
of
theft,
block
my
path
out
the
store
and
attempt
to
confiscate
one
of
the

items
I
had
collected
for
an
online
order
I
had
spent
£100
on,
whilst
the
staff
member
whom
had
allowed
me
to
use
the
self-service
checkout
till,
mumbled
a
docile
"let's
all
just
calm
down.",
instead
of
de-escalating
the
conflict
by
stating
he
had
invited
my
assumption
that
I
was
allowed
to
use
the
active
Self-service
checkout
till
on
the
right
hand
side
of
the
checkout
queue.
Even
after
I
presented
the
Mid
Soles
receipt
which
the
abusive
little
man
demanded
and
snatched
from
my
hand,
he
still
attempted
to
grab
the

I
had

for.
I
SHALL
NOT
BE
COMING
AGAIN.
