I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Whilst we didn't complain as we were just there for one night & there didn't seem much point, we won't be returning. The smell of damp and mould hit you as soon as you entered the room. Damp in the bathroom, stained ceiling that can only be caused by damp. No deadbolt on the inside of the door, just a simple self locking door handle. Sheets that didn't fill you with confidence and no duvet, just a sheet and blanket. Hairdryer didn't work, and paint peeling off the walls. Avoid if you can.

We had a great stay, everything as expected or even better, since the reviews are pretty unfair. The staff super helpful and nice, great location and perfect relationship quality/price. Totally Recommended

I was really scared by the bad reviews, but for me everything was actually really good! Yes, the rooms are small, but we only needed a place to spend the nights anyways. The room was clean, no roaches, mice or bedbugs and there was no visible mold in the sleeping room. There was some indication of mold in the shower, but not a lot, definitely not a worrying amount. The location is absolutely amazing. You can barely hear other rooms from your own room, but you can hear everything in the hallway (and vice versa). They came to clean the room daily and were respectful of our property. However, a "do not Clean" sign for the doorknob would be nice. For the price it's absolutely amazing and Id recommend it to anyone who just needs a warm and clean place to spend some nights in London.

Even 1 star is way too much for this place do not waste your money yes it’s cheap but there are cheap places that are a lot cleaner nicer and with way more welcoming staff. Staff are so rude throw the Kay at you because they can’t be bothered getting up the place stank . The wardrobe toilet/bathroom is dirty Defiantly do not waste your money on this place

The whole hotel smelled if fresh paint the room as well. Our room was in the basement with tiny window so it was really hot and no fresh air and we could smell the paint a lot. The room was big but the mattresses old the floor cold and the shower box dirty. And staff not friendly at all!

Second stay in this budget hotel. Booked for 3 nights. Hotel is 15 minutes walk to Paddington and 10 minutes to Bayswater/Nottinghill. Lots of food outlets close by. On arrival room looked nice and spacious. Room decor is dated but functional and clean. Double room on the 1st floor right next to lift, which I thought would be noisy, but surprisingly, it did not disturb me. Bathroom looked dated but functional and clean, shower pressure was great. Double bed mattress was really bad, sunken in the centre, I've previously stayed in a room with single beds which have been fine. If I do book again, I'll be avoiding double rooms.

I must admit that after reading many negative reviews I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. My room was adequate for the price that I paid, everything worked, had an en-suite bathroom, kettle,tv,fan and even a fridge(although not plugged in!). The location is good, close to Hyde Park etc,so all in all could have been a lot worse.

Great location, very friendly staff and clean, warm rooms, that come with a private bathroom, television, water boiler with tea and coffee, hair dryer etc. The rooms are small, after all, it is not a luxurious hotel, but it is a great option if you don’t want to pay too much. Our stay here was great. The hotel is located in a friendly neighbourhood, which is really close to many restaurants, two subway stations and hyde park. 100% money’s worth

The twin room was large with two 3/4 double beds. The hotel is a bit of a mess there’s threadbare carpet the flooring in our room was broken. It just looks tatty but did the job for a one night stay. The sheets weren’t clean they had stains and we had to request new ones. You also have to leave your key in the hotel you’re not allowed to take it out of the hotel which I’ve never encountered before. It’s alright for one night but wouldn’t stay there for any longer than that. It was way too hot in the room the heating you can’t adjust it and you can’t open the windows either.

The hotel offers great value for its price. We travel as a young couple who need a clean, small space to sleep and a private bathroom. Wedgewood hotel offered everything that we hoped for. The staff were friendly. The small, very clean room was packed with everything that we hoped for: hair dryer, water boiler, tea, coffee, a small tv, wardrobe etc. The room was very warm and cozy. The only problem we had was with the very tiny shower. It had really small water pressure and it was impossible to balance the temperature. They offered us enough shampoo, toilet paper and soap. There was no toilet brush though. All in all, our stay was good and i recommend it as a budget option.

Me and my 9 year old son were in a twin room. Very small but had everything we needed. Very quiet area and handy location for underground etc. Room cleaned regularly. You get what you pay for and it ticked the boxes for us - location, clean, quiet.

Well wat can I say, a family holiday booked a family roo. 2adult and 2teenagers, it's a good job 1 teen got her own because she wouldn't of fitted. 🤣 room was tiny, beds were even smaller, bathroom built into a wardrobe. Hadn't room to walk round. My teenager room was in the basement, dirty and noisy it was like she was punished to sleep down there, she did asked to be moved the next morning and in fairness they did for the price that we gave was not worth it at all. But it was clean and it did the job as we were gone early and back late, and the breakfast which they said there was, there wasn't any at all.. location was good as it was central 4 buses etc

Is a very good choice when you don’t have a big family, when is a couple or single and you don’t want to spend a lot money. Is situated in excellent location, close to nothing hill and paddleton city. You have metro stations and many bus stops. Many restaurants and shops. My husband and I arrived to early in the morning and they help us to made checking early without extra charge. They were very kind. I absolutely recommend this place!

Do not stay here. The rooms are extremely small, and as such get very hot and stuffy very quickly. The window was opened to mitigate this, but the window itself looked as though it had not been cleaned in some time. The staff are also extremely unhelpful, and very rude. On our first night staying at this hotel I became sick due to food poisoning, I vomited on the floor and bed sheets. We had to clean this ourselves, and informed the staff of this - they reassured us that the room would be deep cleaned the following morning and a fresh set of sheets would be provided. The next day we left the hotel early, and spent much of the day exploring the city, we returned to our room to find it had not been cleaned and did not have new bedsheets, and the dirty bed sheets which we had piled in the corner were still present. We then complained to staff about this, and they told us our room would be cleaned tomorrow. They also did not supply us with fresh bedding as per our request, even though we had said we would replace the bedding ourselves. We are having to share one single bed's bedding between the two of our beds tonight as we have no other options.

While the pricing of the hotel was great, the room was not. When first entering you might as well keep your shoes on as the floor is a tripping hazards. The wood was sticking up which could easily cut your foot on. The wood curving was most likely caused by the intense heat coming from the radiator that couldn't be turned off. The heat was under bearable to sleep in even with the window open. It reminded us of summer 2022. The hair dryer was also smoking after being on for a second which it was also intensly hot. Definitely wouldn't go back.

I booked the big twin room, and it was small, honest, really small, box room. I was waiting for the check in 20 minutes. The receptionist was a little bit rude. When the housekeepers start to Huber at 9am forgot to sleep. Poor qualities and today when I did the check out 15 minutes before someone call my door and she told me "you know you have the check out today at 11am?" What a hell? I been in too many hotels and I never heard that I can't believe. I delayed 12 minutes and she called me in 3 times, then I leave and she wasn't waiting..... I won't repeat.

It is a really bad hotel. There are cracks in the ceiling, the walls are thin, so you can hear enery one in the hole hotel. There are also not being done properly clean

The staff was unhelpful, the floor was crooked, the double sized bed was only a 1/2 size bed, the room was really small and I could not have my suitcase on the floor while having space to walk around. There was just one towel even though the room was for 2 people and we would need a hand towel as well. Also badly isolated walls + windows. Luckily we were able to change to another room but had to pay more.

For the price you pay (read; cheap for london meanings) it's fine. The rooms are small, but for a busy citytrip its doable when you will spend most time outside, the bed is also quite small, 120 cm i think which makes it a bit uncomfortable if you stay there with 2, but also acceptable for a few days. Its clean and we werent bothered by anyone (4th floor) so we had a good night rest. Also, its old but clean, no carpet which makes it better. Bathroom also fine, clean but tiny and the water jet sucks. Your room wil not be cleaned in the mainwhile, but when we asked for clean towels, we got them without any problems. Staff is also nice. Would stay here again for the price and if its only for a few days. Location is great

One of the worst Hotels I’ve ever been to. The heat on my room was imposible to deal with, no breakfast included even when it says it’s, everything is super old and with all of that, the cost of the room was £120 per night. Do not come here, there is much better options on the same street!
