I have had so many negative experiences with this place, it would be impossible to list them all out here. Highlights of these negative experiences include: - Screaming at me in the middle of the waiting area after I had expressed my concern for being “moved to the bottom of the list” and not told for over an hour and 45 minutes. - Told I had mono (but not tested for it) and was told to come back in four days and get tested (I did not have mono). - Worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had anywhere - especially via phone - They do not care if you struggle understanding the healthcare system, they will yell at you and be frustrated with you anyways. I absolutely despise going to this place and only go if I absolutely have to now. With all this COVID testing happening, I got selected for surveillance testing and when I called for more information I was treated horribly again. The ladies who answer the phones are AWFUL and I cannot stand to schedule appointments with them.

The doctors are great, but the nurses are horrible! Each one that I have met expect maybe one has been horrible! Today one was incredibly bossy, demanding, and rushing me out of the center! I dont know who is in charge if hiring the nurses, but they need to re-consider who the hire because none of them have any compassion or manners.

Called them and was put on hold for 12 minutes then they literally hung up on me Update: I want to add that I believe they just don’t know how to use their phones, I don’t think they actually intended to hang up. But either way that’s kinda bad considering I was asking about post-covid heart problems 🥴. Also once I saw the doctor they were super helpful and accommodating! I just can’t believe it took so long and so much effort to actually get in with them. They literally have same day availability but it took 4 weeks of trying to actually get a hold of them during business hours and find someone who could schedule me.

You can take your appointments online if you are student of OSU. Very practical and they offer lots of specialties. It has a friendly staff. Health Center has a free parking if you are patient. Also, it has a pharmacy on the bottom floor.

Called them to schedule an appointment because I couldn't find the appropriate reason to schedule online. The representative who talked to me was quite rude. She could've talked nicely, but she didn't. I don't know what's wrong with her, but being nice (or just not being rude) to patients would be highly appreciated since you don't know what pain a person is going through. I'm pretty disappointed.

was put on hold for 45 minutes for scheduling and then was sent to voicemail. that happened twice even when the phone said “there are no callers ahead of you in line.” also i was sent a $400 bill for an physical exam when the appointment was for an anxiety evaluation (there was no physical exam whatsoever). the school advertises this as a place to get your needs addressed quickly when in reality you would get in quicker at a CVS minute clinic, spend less, and be treated better.

The staff has no medically accurate information (they did not even know that a PCR and RNA are the same thing), and denies COVID tests to individuals needing it for field research, interaction with young children, immunocompromised relatives etc. even to students paid by the university to complete PhD degrees with rigorous requirements. The university has shown a history of having questionable medical practices and people in charge of scheduling at this center need to be fired. If I could give a negative rating and take legal action, I would. Go to a CVS, OSU has subpar practices and its medical professionals treat students like numbers, not humans. Ridiculous and this will be taken up with the President.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. They answered my call the first time, and were able to give me an appointment only an hour later. I saw a Certified Nurse Practitioner named Kaitlin and she was incredibly kind hearted and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming here the next time I have a medical need.

I have never had any huge issues with SHS at OSU until recently. My provider neglected to respond to my requests for medication as well as my secure message, so I was forced to go cold turkey for 7 days experiencing withdrawal symptoms. I will not be using the services after this experience and hope that this does not happen to anyone else. (This experience was with Jonda Hapner-Yengo, if that info is helpful.)

This place leaves me so frustrated almost every time i go there. The availability is awful, it is rare to find an appointment within 3 days of the time you call or schedule online. If you need quick care for non emergencies you are much better going to a minute clinic. Wilce offers little help for students with insurance questions and many workers are rude. I am writing this review after walking back empty handed from their pharmacy my third time in the past week because their hours do not match the ones posted online and my prescription was sent to a different pharmacy even though i told them i wanted it there. The only redeeming quality is the doctors- they are all so sweet, caring and amazing at what they do.

I have scheduled most of my appointments through BuckMD without any issue or delay. All of my staff interactions (Optometry, OBGYN, Primary Care and Pharmacy) have been prompt, pleasant, and completely professional.
