Lovely theatre, and staff are very friendly, looks a little dated on the inside of the halls being very brick BUT do not let it deter your or put you off, the theatre is amazing, the sound is the best I've heard from a theatre from the way the orchestra and sound is produced out to the auditorium and could clearly hear all the company throughout. Also the surprising rotating stage AND stalls seating is wonderful and really engaging. Best show I've seen in years

We watched The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. All the cast were absolutely brilliant. No hiccups - the choreography, lines and the rest were performed professionally. We all adore Lucy, with her charm pretty and natural beauty. Well done all. The theatre 🎭 was packed full

We visited this theatre last night to watch 'Crazy for you', it doesn't look as appealing from the outside, however it is a great theatre with comfortable seats. We were sitting in row D (circle) and unlike other theatres, the view from the circle seats is amazing. Rows are quite elevated from each other and we were able to enjoy the musical as if we were in the stalls. I would definitely recommend.

Visited the Gillian Lynne Theatre for the first time to see Crazy for you, modern theatre, opened in 1973. Unlike some theatre, all is above ground level so as we were level with stage had to go up but there is a escilatar to get you there and down after the show. Has capacity of 1294 in compatible seating. We booked a front of block seating so had plenty of leg room. Unlike some theatres, there are plenty of toilets. All staff were professional, friendly and getting in, getting drinks and leaving was all well organised. The show was old in history but brilliant performed, the ending of the first half the high light, well worth the visit. The theatre don't have the history but if the right show makes for a lovely evening.

Fabulous show great theatre. A very modern venue with good sized comfortable seats. A well organised event gets you in and to your seat without fuss. Great bars and toilet facilities. The performance itself was fantastic with such a professional cast. The singing and the dancing was everything you would expect from a major production. Wow!

What a fabulous theatre. Loved seeing Cinderella on March 2nd, it was the Understudy Performance but the Actress standing in for Carrie Hope Fletcher absolutely smashed it 👏🏻. I love how small/intimate it is as well, granted it is an Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical so it is a little bit on the pricey side, but after seeing the show, I couldn't complain. Even better when me & one of my Best Mates arrived we got a free upgrade to the Stalls, Row G, Seats 33 & 34, RESULT! When we first arrived outside the Theatre as well, who did we see walking up to us? None other than Carrie Hope Fletcher on her night off 🤩. I of course congratulated her on her very recent Win at the "What's On Stage Awards" & she personally thank me which was lovely, great evening out all in all 🙌🏻.

Saw “Crazy For You”!!! What an amazing experience! The theater is cozy and clean. I counted 3 bars plus the souvenir counter. Plenty of staff if you need assistance, all polite and helpful. The play in itself, well that’s just a masterpiece, the performance is spectacular, the effects, music and decor make you travel in time. Thank you #London thank you #gillianlynnetheatre

This venue has all the best parts it a purpose built modern theatre. Similar to the National where all seats are unrestricted and you can see the stage perfectly. There are plenty of bars and lots of space. Cinderella itself is a fantastic show and Carrie Hope Fletcher is an absolutely star !

Went to see The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe - which is an absolutely fantastic adaptation of the book. We were towards the back of the stalls section (only two rows behind) but our view was excellent. Would always prefer to be closer, but I would happily sit in the same place again. Comfortable seating and brilliant audio projection. Snacks a bit pricey, but that is always the case. Recommended.

Watched The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with my family. This review is of the facility itself. The theater looks like it is new. All the seats in the house are great! There's plenty of leg room and seats are well spaced out so you don't feel like you are practically on your neighbor's lap. There is rake throughout the theater and therefore even if a tall person sits in front of you you will have a good view of the stage. Plenty of bathrooms that are well lit and maintained. I'd love to watch another production here! The attached picture is what the stage looks like from row N in the stalls

A well set out modern theatre. The seats in the circle have excellent backs and leg room (shorter individuals may need a booster, just ask the ushers). As ever, there is a shortage of female wc's. If you sit in the front 8 rows of the stalls, prepare for a "moving experience" (depending on the show!).

A nice modern theatre in the heart of London's West End. Friendly team working there, really welcoming and kind. I was very impressed that the seats up in the stalls actually have good gradient and visibility, unlike other theatres where if you are right upstairs, you pretty much can't see anything. Absolutely loved seeing the last performance of Crazy For You today (NYE) - such a great musical, wonderful cast and everyone enjoying themselves. Would definitely return for another show!

Lovely theatre, we sat in row M in the middle and view from here was perfect. Place itself was really pretty, seats were fairly comfortable for theatre seats. There's 2 bars with a lot of space which is nice. Staff here were great. We watched Cinderella here and it was good. I enjoyed the first half a lot more than the second half (I found it went a little flat towards the end) but overall it is a good show and very glad I saw it.

The tiered stall seating offers an amazing view of the stage from almost any seat. Quite a few bars but they all seemed to be on one floor. This led to the audience all shuffling down the stairs at the interval all at once. I overheard that one of the bars was accepting cash.

Great theatre, fairly modern so has comfortable seats and great views from all seats due to the good rake. Watched crazy for you, which is a brilliant show. Plenty of toilets and nice bar areas.

A LW owned theatre that used to be called The New London Theatre, now named after the late great choreographer Gillian Lynne. Seen a few shows here with the last being Crazy For You, that I enjoyed 4 times! It's a classic musical with great Gershwin tunes and fabulous dancing. Theatre is well organised on entry and almost any seat has a great view. Accessibility is good with an access team who help take disabled patrons via a lift. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Usual queues for toilets and bars! Great stall near the escalator that sells all the merchandise. Looking forward to returning to see Standing At The Sky's Edge next!

Excellent theater, very spacious and with 5+ bars ,so visitors have plenty of space to wait inside for the session to start. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Inside the theater it was very spacious between the rows and ailes,so you seat comfy and have plenty of space for your knees. View to the stage is great. I watched Crazy for you and the musical was Amazing. Worth a visit.

Great theatre with plenty of room in the concourse to wait/have a drink prior to the show. There is plenty of legroom in the seats and a good view of the stage from pretty much anywhere. (We were in the stalls on row O 49 and 50) Went to see Standing at the Sky's Edge, which is an excellent show.

We went for the Crazy for you musical yesterday. The musical was amazing, so if you like the vibe of romance of the American Great Depression age it’s a must to visit. The music, costumes, singing, dancing and the cast were all fantastic. This was also the first musical my partner wants to rewatch while sitting closer. Now regarding the theater itself. It was a very unusual experience, majority of the theaters I’ve been to so far around London are older, while this one was only opened in 1970s. It was to some extend more harsh in its architecture and reminded me of the George Orwell’s 1984 novel. However, despite the buildings character, the seats were great. We were seated in the middle of the last row (G) of the circle. It had a lot of leg space and unlike some older theaters (eg the Duke of York theater (which I also love!)) had very comfortable seats. It also got a bit hot towards the end, but probably that’s on me for wearing warm sweater. Luckily you can always buy cold ice cream during the break

Lovely theatre. Easy to locate and get into. Comfortable seats with amazing views. Small yet perfectly sized for the production we saw. Lion Witch and the Wardrobe was fantastic. Having the musician on the stage and acting at the same time was brilliant. Never seen that before. Would definitely recommend.

Great theatre. Love the design and shape of it. We were at the back row but overlooked the stage. Saw and heard everything clearly. Lion, Witch and Wardrobe, a brilliant production!

Love this theatre, great seating not too tight and all seats seem to have a good view of the stage and decent enough leg room. This time was The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Stage originally built and designed for Cats I believe, I loved watching ALW Cinderella here in part because there is a wonderful stage surprise that is sometimes used for the productions. "If you know, you know!" 😉

Wherever you are seated in this theatre you have a clear view of the stage. Oddly, we had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to our seats in the rear stalls. Little or no seating in the bar or general areas. We were advised to pop out for a coffee at the interval as only tea is served from the bar (with sachets of long life milk)!

Cinderella was such a beautiful musical, quite a few turn outs, unexpected and thrilling. We had such good seats. It’s not a big theater so everyone’s seats seemed close to the stage. We Loved how the stage moved, this was one of our favorite part. The artists were amazing, such an amazing performance from everyone. Loved it! The staff at the counters were so quick, polite, helpful and welcoming.

Not for pre teens due to content, however fabulous songs with a great storyline, not chocolate box with an edgy feel. The revolving stage was a triumph, with stunning dance scenes. Whilst Carrie Hope Fletcher was such a shining star in the show, Prince Sebastian had a league of whooping fans in the audience. The Queen was delightful and the stepmother was truly spectacular....loved her performances. The buff court men were a hilarious parody of shallow males with the female ensemble playing their roles with utter conviction.

Went to see Crazy for you - the cast were incredibly charming and such a talented group !! The leads were outstanding but the ensemble were equally strong and so full of energy. The showgirl costumes were breathtaking and so classic. Irene’s solo performance was definitely a highlight !! My favourite roles were the British couple who had the whole theatre in fits. The musicians were exceptional. Highly recommend !!

A nice organized theater. Cinderella was a fantastic show with a nice twist to it. Suited for the entire family. We all still listen to the songs on a daily basis and enjoy them so much!
