Superb meal. Crab is best I’ve never had. Surf and turf amazing, Cooke to perfection. Salmon 1st class. Service and atmosphere superb. My only improvement would be the Calamari, breadcrumbs too thick, needed to be a lighter coating. Other than that spot on.

Located by the river Thames is the perfect location to enjoy a variety of fish dishes. We had drinks at the bar before we moved to our table. Enjoyed the calamari, cod, and chips and all the other dishes. Service was attentive, and it was a great atmosphere. Definitely will go back to enjoy more of their dishes.

We really enjoyed our lunch. After a slightly disappointing and surprising start where the bar staff were unsmiling and not particularly friendly and welcoming, the service was very good. The waiting staff were helpful and informative with the wine and menu selection. We didn't really like having to use a QR code to scan and read a menu. An iPad was provided for us old people, but we still prefer an old fashioned hard copy menu!! The food was well presented and absolutely delicious. We chose an English wine, which again was delicious. The location of the restaurant provides a wonderful vista for all diners. As the busy lunchtime service drew to a close, the servers had time for more of a chat, which we really enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Incredible restaurant for seafood! This was my first time here and I was so amazed by the great service and fresh seafood! Oysters and shellfish are must have! They are divine and delicious. Every dish was a joy. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back again for another meal.

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The seafood was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and left me wanting more. However, I must mention that the service was a bit slow, which was a minor downside to an otherwise fantastic meal. Nevertheless, the delectable seafood made it all worth it, and I'll definitely be back for more!

A very good place for seafood by Thames. Fabulous oysters and an interesting menu with plenty of variety available on the a la carte menu. A couple on our table had the set menu and both had food envy when seeing everyone else's dishes. So I recommend the a la carte menu. We had scallops, octopus, and lemon sole dishes which were all excellent. The service is very good. The wine list is wide and varied. And the view is fabulous for a twilight meal. Would like to see a few interesting beers on offer. Otherwise, a very pleasant experience at a reasonable price. Would recommend a meal for a special occasion.

Went here for my wife's birthday celebration. Was amazing customer service from when we entered the restaurant. Impeccable service from the waiting staff, friendly, efficient and fantastic recommendations. This added to the overall experience and my wife was very happy with the choice of restaurant. The food was top class. I would highly recommend if you want to pull all the stops out to impress that someone in your life.

Second time I've been to Smith's. Amazing food and excellent service. Staff are really friendly and done to earth. Food was perfectly cooked. We ordered cocktails and a bottle of champagne. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary - the staff brought out desserts out on special 'happy anniversary' plates which was a nice touch.

A legendary restaurant with some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable considering we were visiting on one of their busiest days of the year - Valentine’s Day. The set menu was exceptional. No lobster but we were blown away by each course being delicious and beautifully crafted. The cocktails were also expertly made. This is an expensive restaurant, but the quality is second to none. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Since 1958 this restaurant has been serving London's East End great sea food. I call it the more reasonable alternative to Scott's of Mayfair, although, good fresh sea food is not cheap. The food we had, lobster, dressed crab, mussels, grilled sea bass and oysters, expertly prepared was all washed down with a lovely English white wine and was served to us by a cheerful and lovely waiter called Lex who we thank for his gracious service. It is perched on the Thames with great views and is surrounded by some good pubs. I will be back.

One of my favourite restaurants to dine at. We had the burrata and calamari to start followed by the halibut which I highly recommend and lemon sole with scallops for main. The restaurant is great value for money, with filling portion sizes, a starter is not necessarily needed however we saved ourselves for this meal. The prices are a little on the high side compared to other restaurants but the quality of the fish and service from the staff is unmatched. Perfect for a special occasion meal.

If you are into fish and seafood, this place should be on your list. Their signature Norwegian halibut in Chablis sauce was absolutely delicious as well as the gratinated hake. And yet, another callout to their oysters’ quality and freshness. It’s perfect for a special occasion and has some nice vistas over Thames and Tower Bridge.

I went to this restaurant with my wife on Friday evening. The atmosphere is phenomenal: bright, clean, fresh seafood, full of classy and well-mannered customers. The service is very good, there is a lot of staff, the attention to the customer is maximum, the waiter is always around and consults well, and when he brings the food, he explained each item from the ordered selection. Whole crab - perfect. Clam and lobster soup - phenomenal. Highly recommend this restaurant - we will be back every time we visit London. You must book in advance... And finally, but not least, I want to mention that the view of Tower Bridge is amazingly romantic.

Highly recommend this restaurant! We went for our anniversary dinner, as soon as you walk in..the restaurant has the wow factor. All the staffs were super polite, especially the waiters, they honestly give one of the best services ever. The food was delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely visit again. Thank you!

Incredible cuisine, astounding ambience, first-class service, nice clientele. Overall a superb experience, luxurious but not snobbish 👌 We booked Smiths of Wapping for our Valentine’s dinner after reading an article about the oldest restaurants in London on The Guardian. I always love seafood so to me this is a no brainer. Everything about Smiths in that review was just right or I must say much better than I imagined. I love their floor to ceiling glass windows facing the River Thames that were built diagonally. Looking out from those windows made me feel like I was on a cruise ship. Every dish I ordered that night was just amazing, especially the dover sole special and the crab. To top, their service was amazing and the staff takes so much pride in their profession and was incredibly attentive. We loved it so much we will be back for Mother’s Day.

Good food with a low light atmosphere which was great for a Saturday night. Can see tower bridge in the background from the windows. Portions are decent and service is also good. The AC temperature was a bit low for me, room felt cold.

What a great seafood restaurant! Location, service, quality and value all exceptional. Although a bit on the pricey side, the portion size and quality make it well worth it. Already planning our next trip back here!

We celebrated my daughter’s 40th birthday here a few weeks ago. There were 14 of us sitting down for lunch on a Sunday, and the food, atmosphere and service were (as usual) all exceptional. Thank you for giving us a birthday celebration to remember!
