We
made
a
reservation
on
Rumbo
for
an
apartment
with
1
bedroom
with
a
double
bed
and
a
sofa
bed.
Upon
our
arrival
at
the
place,
there
was
no
way
to
enter
the
building,
and
when
we
called
the
phone
number
corresponding
to
the
hotel
(the
only
means
of
contact
they
gave
us),
they
told
us
that
there
was
no
reservation
in
our
name
and
that
they
did
not
know
Rumbo
or
anything.
similar.
After
insisting
that
we
did
have
a
reservation,
they
told
us
to
contact
our
agency
(Rumbo).
When
we
called
the
hotel
phone
again,
they
hung
up
on
us.
It
wasn't
until
we
showed
up
at
the
reception
of
its
counterpart
hotel
(the
Melville
Hotel)
that
they
assisted
us
and
tried
to
find
our
reservation.
We
found
out
about
this
other
hotel
by
chance,
as
the
contact
information
was
limited
to
a
phone
number.
Once
there,
after
questioning
whether
we
had
made
a
reservation,
they
ended
up
locating
it
and
gave
us
the
room
number
and
password
on
a
sheet
of
paper.
The
apartment
(door
5)
was
very
different
from
the
photos
in
the
Rumbo
offer:
there
was
a
double
bed
and
a
single
bed
in
the
same
bedroom
and
the
living
area
was
tiny,
with
only
a
two-seater
sofa
as
the
only
seat
and
no
no
table
or
space
to
eat,
in
addition
to
an
intense
musty
smell.
It
was
a
dark
apartment
with
just
two
very
small
windows.
We
showed
up
again
at
the
reception
of
the
Melville
Hotel
to
complain
that
this
apartment
did
not
correspond
to
the
offer
and
they
responded
very
defensively,
blaming
Rumbo
and
pressuring
us
to
make
the
decision
to
stay
or
leave,
when
we
only
demanded
that
they
give
us
what
we
had
paid.
We
left
the
place
to
file
a
complaint
with
the
Rumbo
agency,
and
just
a
few
seconds
later
they
came
out
to
yell
at
us
to
come
back,
and
immediately
they
offered
us
an
apartment
that
was
somewhat
more
similar
to
what
we
had
reserved
(it
had
a
desk,
living
room,
router
,
views
of
the
street,
appropriate
ventilation,
thermostat
and
spaces
more
appropriate
for
3
people).
It
is
clear
that
their
intention
was
to
give
us
an
apartment
much
inferior
to
what
we
had
booked
and
make
us
accept
it.
Regarding
the
apartment
that
they
offered
us
in
second
place,
door
3,
which
we
ended
up
accepting,
we
cannot
say
that
it
was
the
experience
we
bought.
It
would
have
been
more
similar
if
it
had
been
clean
and
in
the
conditions
shown
in
the
photographs
of
the
offer
(very
aged,
uneven
floor
with
holes
under
the
carpet,
dampness
on
the
ceiling,
appliances
that
do
not
work,
dirt,
no
cleaning
products.
toiletries
or
enough
towels).
We
provide
images
that
demonstrate
it.
We
advise
choosing
another
hotel
for
a
stay
in
London.
However,
the
location
is
very
good
and
it
is
in
an
accessible
place.
There
are
many
more
alternatives
in
the
area
so
it
will
not
be
a
difficult
task.
