I like the unreserved seating in the balcony. The view is good if you are in the first five or so rows. Go for a seat next to a back rest for added comfort. That's the good news. What I object is the venues policy of not allowing you to take in food and drink though you can unsurprisingly buy it in the venue. I also had to empty my pockets and be patted down for a concert. It was not as though I was attending a controversial concert or flying. Makes you wonder whether you will go there again.

When you arrive, there's an absolutely huge queue which goes down the road for what seems miles. However when the doors do open they're quick to get you in. Remember if you're with o2 you get priority entry and access to use the cloakroom. Small perks but worth it. When watching the gig, great acoustics, nice and loud and generally enough space in the stalls for standing (2300 ish capacity). Two or three bars downstairs, some seating upstairs. We went to see Teddy Swims and it was incredible!! Main act usually starting around 9 I'd expect if the experience was similar to ours. Train station only a 3 minute walk from the venue. 👌🏻

Love this venue have been twice now, once standing and once sitting. Lots of room downstairs for standing. The seated is also first come first serve and They're more benches than seats as they don't have a back but still comfortable. Great views from upstairs and highly enjoyable nights out though the artists do that more than the venue. Very accessible from Kentish Town tube station and when leaving the venue it can get very busy.

Stunning venue with excellent service and sound plus decent duck prices. I'm disabled and hasn't thought to sort out an accessibility wrist band beforehand. One staff member (I think their name was Ameet?) went out of their way to set me and my companion up with seats that had unimpeded views of the stage, creating an extra seating space after deciding the accessible viewing area was crowded. Fantastic service!

Went to see A Day To Remeber here and I like this place. Was clean and the staff were really nice. Was standing so no issue there. Also it's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to Camden so if you want to pass some time before a gig starts walk there and get some food. Amazing day and 😃

Good venue and sound, though not much of a rake on the floor so don't stand behind tall folk. Living Colour & Extreme were blinding...

Went to Slaughter to prevail and it was absolutely amazing. Can't fault anything in regards to the band and their performance and sound. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because when leaving the gig every single person got searched on the way out, which meant that it took a lot longer to get out.

Great size venue for gigs with seated balcony and standing downstairs. Good views from most places. Art deco styling. High ceilings. Good sound.

Fantastic venue! Went to see Soccer Mommy supported by Francis of Delirium on the 22/09/2022. Great acoustics, phenomenal security staff who were very friendly and repeatedly kept the crowd hydrated by passing them water.

Went to see Holly Humberstone, she was amazing. Arrived very late and stood at the very back, still can see her clearly. And the sound quality is still good. An amazing experience at this small venue.

Amazing venue. Amazing staff. I have been to a few shows here and they've always been great. The venue itself is beautiful, sound quality spot on and the staff, especially security are Amazing. Myself and my teenage daughter were at a gig last night, my daughter fainted half way through and the way the security dealt with it was great. They got her out of the crowd fast, took her out the back and had her checked out by a medic, gave her a bottle of water and even offered her a jam tart! They stayed with us until my daughter was well again and walked us back inside and found us a seat so we could enjoy the rest of the show. Cannot thank them enough!

Balcony seats are unallocated, even if you have a seat number - dont expect to get a seat. The venue itself is great, the gig was great (Extreme - December 4th) however, I bought seated tickets for the balcony, so when we got in we were told the seats were unallocated, and they were all full... so instead security said we had to stand in the area by the bar. It was 4 people deep, the view was poor because it was so crowded. Not really what I paid for or expected and frankly I'm disappointed by the venue, so be warned...

I like that the bar and toilets are accesible straight in the concert hall. Staff is very friendly. I had a fantastic time and would go to see Home Free again.

30 years of going to concerts and tonight was the first time going to the Forum and after this visit I will in future swerve any band that chooses to play this dump. Queues to get in unorganised, the balcony is a bloody joke of a free for all with people taking up way too much space on the benches and I have never been to a concert where it was so uncomfortably hot and stuffy. As for the promoters tonight (boywithuke) please choose a better venue, one with allocated seats, especially when there are a large number of young fans that could see bugger all here. London has lost BETTER venues than this over the last decade. How is this dive still going?

Such a great venue, good sound, and the tiered viewing platform in the Standing Level is awesome. Wasn't in the top level where there are seating options, but I am sure view is spectacular from there. There is a cloakroom, so that is excellent and very helpful! Location is ace, obviously - and it will be even better once the Kentish Town tube station opens again in mid-2024.

The concert I went to was great, I had a great view on the balcony and was able to sit down. The staff did really well managing the crowd, stopping any mosh pits from happening, and handing out water through the concert. However, the entry into the building was a mess. There were no signs indicating where we needed to go. This led to a lot of confusion between all the guests. The email the day before also didn't mention they didn't want people having multiple tickets on one app. This led to me sending my partner's ticket to him and him downloading the app that drained his battery.

Very good time here, the venue has a really clever set up in terms of sound and view. The way the venue is set up means you can get a good view from the back or down in the mosh. Would like to have another gig here again.

Went to see one of my fav bands, Brothers of Metal. The band was amazing, 10/10, the venue on the other hand was not. First, the good: - After queues were sorted out, getting into the venue was fine. Beware there is a bag check and a pat down before going in. - There were security staff down by the stage keeping an eye on moshing, crowd surfing etc and making sure things were kept safe. They also handed out water after a while which I thought was excellent. - Nice looking venue, appears to be an old theatre or is at least based on one. Now the bad: - There was no staff to tell us where to queue, leading to multiple queues for the first 30 mins or so. - I have mobility issues and use a cane, however I was told that because I didn't have an accessible ticket (which I was never given an option for), I had to queue with the long, general queue. I was the only person in this queue with a stick, which was quite embarrassing. - We had booked what were supposed to be reserved seats, but it turned out that there were no reserved seats at all. - There was no accessible way to get up to the balconies, where we had booked. The ticket listing said the venue was accessible so we didn't think this would be a problem. - The stairs down to the balconies were full of people who didnt move when I was trying to pass. They were also leaning on the handrail, which caused me to almost fall twice. Staff were nearby but did not attempt to help. - The toilets were disgusting, which I'm sure is more the attendees, but still. Liquid feces all over the wall and floor. There was no accessible toilet and only one stall. We didn't let the venue ruin our night, and we still had a great time. I had a few trips on stairs, and the balcony seats are not suitable for people with mobility issues at all. According to other disabled people we spoke to, they also weren't asked if they had accessibility needs (though they still got into the accessible area it seems). I hope this venue can be more transparent about its accessibility and be more organised in the future.

Nice venue, decent variety of drinks and nothing big blocking the view. Would love to be able to enter with a backpack though, something that is not possible right now.

Went to this venue last night for the first time and was fully impressed by the size and scale of the venue. Reminds me of an old theatre. Saw Slaughter to Prevail there last night and it was a fantastic gig! 🤘😝👌

I have attended a concert in the forum, and it was really organized and nicely managed. Next time I’ll for sure pick to sit down on the chairs on the top of the forum instead of standing near the stage since the view is way better. Side note: it’s actually so cold outside so dress accordingly and keep in mind that you have to queue before getting in.

Good venue but wasn’t aware unassigned seating meant if you didn’t get there for doors you would end up standing at the very back on your tiptoes, only being able to see the head of the artist through you phone camera otherwise it’s covered by a bit of the frame around the tables.

A small venue but really well organised. The staff are really friendly. The venue is cosy but well set out. The bars have a really good selection drinks. The toilets are clean & maintained pretty well.

Fantastic access team, friendly staff that go above and beyond helpful. I wish all venues could be like this. From being escorted to the accessible line, having my name already on their list and quickly being issued my companion ticket. The member of staff had unlocked the accessible toilet before I even had a chance to get my key out my bag, which after a 3 hour car journey was desperately needed!! Then being escorted to the accessible area for the gig. My companion was just about to go to the bar when another member of staff came over and took our drinks order, complete with card machine to pay. We were checked on throughout the evening, and it felt like a really safe space. At the end of the gig another member of staff apologised for the wait to get out which in all honesty was no problem as I always wait. We were then escorted out. Can't fault them, thank you for all your help it was greatly appreciated. (And Pale Waves were amazing!!)

One of the best gig venues I've been to. I went to see Pale Wales in November of 2022 and this venue did not disappoint. For standing, there're almost three different tiers, kinda like platforms, which people can stand on. It makes it easier for the people at the back to see the stage, and I got a good view from the back too. There's also about three different bars in the venue too, so you don't have to trek for another drink!

Had a really great time here. Staff were well organised, helpful and friendly. The venue itself was brilliant. I went to see Billy Strings there and the place was absolutely packed. The sound quality was great, the place looked amazing. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the drinks were a tad pricey. Had a great time anyhow. I understand if you're an O2 mobile user you can queue jump, not sure if that's at every gig or just the one we were at (that was a bit annoying since it was subzero temperatures and most people towards the front had been queuing for an hour).I didn't go upstairs to the upper balcony so can't comment on whether it was good or not up there but I'm sure the view of the stage was good. I'd definitely go back to this venue again to see other gigs.

Brilliant, great music. The venue isn't overcrowded and can easily get to a bar without waiting hours.

  • 5/5 Pawel M. 1 year ago on Google
This place is spacious but not massive, if you want the immersive crowd experience then buy a downstairs standing ticket, otherwise upstairs sitting. Most benches upstairs have no back rest which may become uncomfortable after a while. It's also unallocated seating so first come first serve, better arrive early. You can't move between the balcony and the stalls. All in all it's fine and you should see everything fine from the balcony, although in rows about 2-4 the barrier might get into the way. There is a bar on every floor and enough toilets. 4 minutes on foot from the Kentish Town train station.

Lovely old venue, very well organised but it's a touch out of town. More importantly than all of the above, if like me you are having a cheeky mud week night out, think very seriously about bothering if you can only get balcony seats, the sound last night was a wash at the top, just awful.

Always enjoy gigs at O2 Forum. Large enough for a great atmosphere yet small enough to make it an intimate experience.

Security was good, however the venue lacks low end. There is a weak about of subs and makes for a less energetic show. Walking around the room. The bass wasn’t strong.
