Went
to
see
one
of
my
fav
bands,
Brothers
of
Metal.
The
band
was
amazing,
10/10,
the
venue
on
the
other
hand
was
not.
First,
the
good:
-
After
queues
were
sorted
out,
getting
into
the
venue
was
fine.
Beware
there
is
a
bag
check
and
a
pat
down
before
going
in.
-
There
were
security
staff
down
by
the
stage
keeping
an
eye
on
moshing,
crowd
surfing
etc
and
making
sure
things
were
kept
safe.
They
also
handed
out
water
after
a
while
which
I
thought
was
excellent.
-
Nice
looking
venue,
appears
to
be
an
old
theatre
or
is
at
least
based
on
one.
Now
the
bad:
-
There
was
no
staff
to
tell
us
where
to
queue,
leading
to
multiple
queues
for
the
first
30
mins
or
so.
-
I
have
mobility
issues
and
use
a
cane,
however
I
was
told
that
because
I
didn't
have
an
accessible
ticket
(which
I
was
never
given
an
option
for),
I
had
to
queue
with
the
long,
general
queue.
I
was
the
only
person
in
this
queue
with
a
stick,
which
was
quite
embarrassing.
-
We
had
booked
what
were
supposed
to
be
reserved
seats,
but
it
turned
out
that
there
were
no
reserved
seats
at
all.
-
There
was
no
accessible
way
to
get
up
to
the
balconies,
where
we
had
booked.
The
ticket
listing
said
the
venue
was
accessible
so
we
didn't
think
this
would
be
a
problem.
-
The
stairs
down
to
the
balconies
were
full
of
people
who
didnt
move
when
I
was
trying
to
pass.
They
were
also
leaning
on
the
handrail,
which
caused
me
to
almost
fall
twice.
Staff
were
nearby
but
did
not
attempt
to
help.
-
The
toilets
were
disgusting,
which
I'm
sure
is
more
the
attendees,
but
still.
Liquid
feces
all
over
the
wall
and
floor.
There
was
no
accessible
toilet
and
only
one
stall.
We
didn't
let
the
venue
ruin
our
night,
and
we
still
had
a
great
time.
I
had
a
few
trips
on
stairs,
and
the
balcony
seats
are
not
suitable
for
people
with
mobility
issues
at
all.
According
to
other
disabled
people
we
spoke
to,
they
also
weren't
asked
if
they
had
accessibility
needs
(though
they
still
got
into
the
accessible
area
it
seems).
I
hope
this
venue
can
be
more
transparent
about
its
accessibility
and
be
more
organised
in
the
future.
