Very nice, clean and quiet park. Comfortable place to rest. There are interesting exhibits in the museum, such as old fire engines. You will fall in love with this place from the very beginning.

Free museum which is good. Better experience with schools as they provide role play and other rooms are visited not for the public.

Very impressed. The castle is beautifully restored. An interesting exposition with descriptions of the life of servants. Well, if someone wants more information, then the friendly staff is ready to share this with you.

Interesting museum set in large and very pleasant grounds. I came for the excellent Set To Stun exhibition of Science Fiction props. Be sure to pick up the guide on the way in as the exhibits are spread out around the museum and there is more to see than you might think.

It’s perhaps worth popping in here for 20 minutes if in the area to learn a little bit on the Rothschilds (former owners), and general information on the area (e.g. a room showing local sports and movies significance). They also have a small shop and clean toilets. It’s likely not worth coming as a destination by itself as there isn’t a ton to see, but worth a quick walkthrough if nearby.

Stunning park, with gothic elegance to it. There is a derelict building, a castle & ruins of chapel. There are also several small ponds, and flower beds. Its, definitely one to stroll in, with your partner or family, take your bike for a ride around.

A bit low-key, but the local quirky details are v good. Went to see the Sci-fi bits but they were few and quite far between. Did get to see Marvin suit from Hhgttg tv series. That was my highpoint.

Interesting place to visit. The museum has an eclectic mix of items on display and good information about the house and gardens. Walking through the gardens, you come across old derelict parts of former buildings. Information boards around the gardens tell you of some of the buildings along with information on trees and plants. There are a couple of mobile coffee/food trucks close to the main house. The grounds are large and would take a couple of visits to explore everything there.

Gunnersbury Park Museum is a wonderful place, grade 2 * listed mansion and former country home to the Rothschild family. Although this is a mansion with a lot of history of its own, it is also the local history museum for the boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow. The collections are diverse and interesting from toys and games (a great place for children to play) to archaeology, fashion and industry. The museum has guided tours of the ground floor on Sundays lad by volunteers. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a great place to spend a few hours.

Beautiful little museum on the edge of London. Really amazing Victorian kitchens, where you can see all the marvellous inventions rich Victorian used ie the first ever gas hob! Staff were lovely and passionate. The grounds are beautiful too, with a playground, mini golf, little lake with boats and several places to get coffee.

Very nice museum and beautiful house. The rooms are beautiful. Many of the items in the museum are replaced with replicas which is a shame but still great local attraction and it's free.

Excellent museum, great 60's, 70's & 80's British Sci-fi artifacts all for free, parking is minimal charge for the time you're there. Easy access, wheelchair friendly, snacks & drinks available. Cafe & hot drinks stand outside. Came here whist waiting for clients at Twickenham. Throughly enjoyed exhibits being a Doctor Who & Sci-fi fan. Highly recommended if in London.

Just beautiful. We only went into the (free) museum briefly, but it looked really good now it has been revamped. Also, the toilets are clean & available to all; the shop sells basic snacks & drinks. In general, the whole park is great for a family day out: the play area; the lake & boats; the gardens; Putt in the Park...👍🏻🌤️😁

I thought this was just another museum. It is worth the visit, although I did a big detour due to a wrong turn in the roundabout. I initially plan to visit this park and museum because I just checked out of my accommodation, and the shopping mall at Westfield is yet to open. The museum is the main building that has a souvenir shop. On the west wing, there is a reading corner. There is a rich history behind the building. There are several exhibits and video presentations of the previous owners. There is a big park behind the museum where the local will let their dogs roams around and playing fetching games. You can see a few joggers and many strolling along the park. The parking is free for the first 30 minutes, I have issue to pair the payment Ring Go apps. Thus I left early. There are also several toys of interests which you might want to take a look yourself.

The museum is free, which is always nice. It's a hands on kind of museum with plenty of things to look at and do. It's very interesting and has plenty of information on the local area the house, and local industries of the past. The butler took us through the different people who looked after the household. At the moment they are hosting a Sci fi exhibition which had a few surprises for us.

Free entry! The exhibitions are a modest bonus. The building and its surrounding gardens are the real gem.

A great museum of Ealing history and is free of charge. Museum is built in a mansion of a rich family. It is sensational to see the grand decoration and thoughtful design of the house. Personally I enjoy the fashion gallery on 2nd floor. There are videos and message boards for children to share their thoughts after watching the exhibition of the floor. There is a playground for children to play and a nice cafe to catch up with friends for a breakfast.

The house includes an excellent museum of local history. In the grounds there are trees and shrubs from all over the world, lakes and a fascinating range of buildings, some constructed as ruins and others being restored.

I had a truly wonderful experience at the museum, and I want to extend my gratitude to the friendly and welcoming staff at the reception area. Although the museum isn't very large, it's certainly worth a visit, especially if you take the guided tour. Ms. Bridget, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, and I particularly enjoyed the part of the tour where she showed us the kitchen area. It felt like we had stepped back in time! I highly recommend the guided tour to anyone visiting the museum - it's a must-do activity. Thank you again to all the staff for making my visit so enjoyable!

Lovely building and grounds, would be nice if there was some comfortable seating inside to enjoy the garden views. Only available lunch was at the putting club had to get there in heavy rain, no tables and food choice basic.

Took 14 children to the museum. We were going to do activities outside. But the weather was so awful that they had to do activities indoors. The children all enjoyed their time there.

Its an exceptionally beautiful classic English Garden park. I don't think it has received its due popularity. With in one place it offers whole range of kids/ youngster/ mature friendly activities along with serene lakes, lush landscape and conservatory. What more can one ask for, in the middle of city hustle bustle?

Although this is still listed as a museum, it is not the once friendly and fun filled archive for young and old. 99% of the wonderful artifacts have been removed so that it can be available for public hire/ private venue. All that remains are pictures of days gone by, and one or two old fashioned childrens games / toys .
