Selected OTS for an immigration consultancy based on strong Google reviews. This was a mistake. I plan to return to the UK with my non-British wife. The consultancy was fine, but there were a couple of points the solicitor needed to double check and promised to follow up on email. Eight days later, and we haven't heard anything from them. Have tried emailing them myself and no response so far. I'd be very cautious booking a consultation with OTS. We've wasted £100 and now have no way to proceed.

I had a bad experience with OTS. I paid for a meeting with solicitor to explain simple question about my son’s citizenship. He told me I had to apply, I then paid 1000+ and spent time submitting the application, to then get it rejected because he already was a citizen. I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Sanae. To give some background of my situation, I was dealing with a student route visa last year (2022) from the US. Delays hit my application due to multiple reasons; some involving my faults, with not sending the passport for the vignette but rather uploading an image of my passport on the application portal. Then UKVI not providing clarity on my situation, it left me with a lot of uncertainty. Escalations after escalations were being raised and eventually, my course deadline day arrived. I was not able to attend my studies for the year, but luckily the uni was kind enough to be understanding and deferred me to this year (2023). This year I needed tranquility with the chaotic process that is immigration, due to the uni taking an extended amount of time with the CAS and also not knowing how my prior application would affect my new one. With all this, Sanae was the right person for the job. She's professional, thorough, very respectful and timely. A lovely person to work and talk with, she never made me feel like uncertain. If Sanae is a reflection of OTS as a firm, I can guarantee you that the entire office is full of capable professionals that are willing to help. I went through a lot of solicitors before I found OTS, but from the moment I contacted them I knew I was going to get the help and service I needed. We experienced a complete lack of proficiency and attentiveness during our interactions with the OTS team. Our initial consultation was confirmed and scheduled, but when the day came we did not receive the meeting link. When we followed up with our contact we found they were on leave that day at the agreed time of our consultation. After finally having a consultation with a different contact, it took several days of follow up to receive the outline of services we were told would be provided after the meeting. After making our initial payment for services we never received the outline of documents needed to start our application despite following up on two occasions. It was only when we sent an email requesting a withdrawal of instruction that we received a response within minutes looking to resolve our concerns and retain our business. Unfortunately, by that point, our trust had been lost. We have since found a new solicitor that has provided attentive service to our visa application. The only positive experience with OTS was the relatively smooth process in receiving our requested refund.

Worst service I have ever seen. They also took 9 weeks to send me a £200 refund. I would like to personally name Diana Agudelo and Maryhem Ahmed for their incompetence and inefficiency to solve the tinniest of issues. Never make the same mistake I did and hire OTS
