End of May 2022 and the store is still asking people to wear a mask to visit when this is no longer needed in any shop or setting in the UK.

The shop is a light-filled treasure trove of sewing and crafting goodies. Everyone is very friendly and it's extremely close to the station so very accessible. I did a sewing class with Charlotte Newland, who won Great British Sewing Bee a few years ago. Charlotte is great fun, friendly and very knowledgeable, and really patient with new sewers. Overall, it's a great experience and I highly recommend both the shop and the courses they run.

Love the assortment of fabric patterns. Found exactly was I looking for my little project. Value for money compared to the quality of the products. Friendly, helpful service!

Last year I bought all the bits I needed to make my Christmas presents look exciting after wrapping them in plain brown paper. This year I bought mending wool and some large needles to fix a hole in my jumper. Great assortment of colours and was able to match it perfectly. The staff here are lovely as well as knowledgeable.

Discovered this shop by chance, a wonderful Alladin's Cave full of inspirational fabrics, yarns, craft kits. The staff were extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Made several purchases and looking forward to visiting again

I love this place. Not only do they have a good selection of types of fabrics and patterns, but Annie and her colleagues are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It's a welcoming, clean and bright shop that makes you feel inspired to craft! Added bonus, they send postal orders in compostable bags, which was a really nice surprise.

What an amazing selection of products in a beautifully laid out shop. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff and covid measures being managed appropriately meaning I felt safe to browse, shop and take my time to make my purchase. Will be sure to revist or purchase on line when I next need more materials for my stash!

Very nice craft shop in an excellent location. Has lots of different crafts but personally not enough of a yarn selection. However I would be delighted to have it on my doorstep.

Second visit in the last couple of years. Cute store, very ‘not on the high street’ but nothing really new, okay if you don’t want to go into central London, but better selection online and at other haberdashery’s. As before the same standoffish owner serving us, whilst she may know sewing and crafts, she doesn’t seem to get basic customer service, absolutely no rapport or engagement when asking questions about her own stock. Will stick to online shopping in the future.

I haven't been to the store in person but their website has become my go to through lockdown. I've ordered at least 5 times and asked questions twice. Each time the fabric has been beautiful and completely arcuate to the pictures online and all of my questions have been answered quickly and it detail. I have recommended this website to everyone I know that sews and its the only place I will buy fabric online.
