Really lovely restaurant, the food is delicious and was served quickly, and there is a good range of options on the menu. The restaurant is in a good location, is very pretty on the inside, and has very friendly waiters. I will definitely be coming back here, and I recommend this restaurant to any Greek food lovers!

I loved the food at this restaurant, it was very good and a great deal, the prices are amazing compared to london prices. It was a big portion and delicious. The location is also great, right on thames bank with walking distance to tower bridge. I also loved the philanthropy work they do that they mention on the menu great job 👏🏼

When you want something different, a little away from the norm and a Greek restaurant is perfect, souvlaki, salads, chips and you are sorted… okay maybe a beer and a soda too Loved it, will be returning here

Was served by the very friendly and kind Sunny. He had great suggestions and made sure my friends and I had a splendid evening. The food was excellent as usual! The grilled chicken in tzatziki was to die for. We used our Unidays student discount which is a great offer on weekdays. Can’t wait to be back on a sunny day!

Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this chain restaurant- I'll definitely be going here again. Really good food, served in a really fun way on afternoon tea style raised trays. And this one in particular you can eat with some stunning views over the river. Great experience all around!

The service was slightly too slow for my liking. The outdoor seating looked promising but the heaters were all on or 9ff which meant too hot or too cold. The food was a little disappointing, the musaka was a hybrid between that and a shepherd's pie. Didn't taste authentic enough but the falafel and hummus were pleasant.

Pleasantly surprised with the gluten free and veg options when we popped in here for lunch! Definitely a place you could sit and hang at for a while but also can make it a quick stop if needed. Wish they had gluten free pita but it worked for what we needed!

Food was nice but I think the portions are small for the price. The interior is nice & the set up but I felt the man who served us seemed grumpy which was a little uncomfortable tbh. Ordered the flatbread as a started & expected it to at least come with a little dip like houmous but you have to order that separately. Not as good as other Greek restaurants I've been to

While I had no problem with the quality or taste of the food, I did have a problem with the prices they were charging for such small portions. The people serving us were charming and well-mannered, but the food did little to satisfy my appetite. Regardless, do not let that stop you from trying yourself.

Incredibly friendly and kind staff, amazing service, great atmosphere. It's not as expensive as it looks from the outside. There’s several vegan options. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed as a rule, but negotiable.

Really good service from staff which makes for a lovely evening and shared the Santorini menu between two which works out at great value for money. However, while the food wasn't bad, it definitely wasn't to the same standard I've had here previously. The flatbread was a little more crispy than fluffy, found the falafel quite dry and the meatballs a little grissely. Everything else though was delicious. It does still warrant the four stars for the staff service and I'd still return again.

Amazing experience in this restaurant. Tasty food, great location in front of the river, and not too expensive. And the best thing was the staff, nice and accommodating. Totally coming back if I visit London again.

I recently tried The Real Greek Bankside for the first time and overall had an OKAY experience. This was my first time trying Greek food and I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, I found the food to be too salty for my taste. And the skewer was a bit cold when it was served. However, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite the overly salty food, you may give it a try just to gain a new experience.

I wouldn’t call it “real” Greek, but it’s a good restaurant chain for a tasty meal. A nice menu with many vegetarian and vegan options, great deals for lunchtime and a beautiful view on the river. Recommended for families and for a healthy meal in the area. Food is a bit bland but you can’t expect full Greek flavours in London I guess. Staff was kind.

Quick service, delicious food, and a great location on the Thames. They have nice formulas to choose from, and everything is fresh

Greek food is always amazing so I am a fan of the chain but this outlet just doesn’t live up to the chain’s high standards. Dishes to try for sure: 1. Baked butter beans and spinach (V, GF) 2. Vine leaf rice rolls (V, GF) 3. Orange cake (V) But what I didn’t like about the outlet- 1. Overpriced for very small portions 2. No set menu on weekends (others have it) 3. Flies and ants on the tables 4. Washroom needed a cleaning 5. Indoor lighting and decor a bit dark

I had never tried Greek food before, but as my wife likes it and it was her birthday, we went to "The Real Greek" at Riverside to have my first experience with this food. The restaurant looks beautiful, with amazing views from the River Thames, clean, painted in white and blue and with a lot of space. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately assisted by one of the members of staff who took us to a table from which we could see the river. It was a little bit difficult to me to choose something from the menu as I didn't know what those dishes were, but thanks to the waiter who assisted us, I must say that my first experience in a Greek restaurant was more than great. I had a chicken wrap with Greek mustard and a bowl of rice with olive oil and tomato that was delicious. My wife went for cod and chips and fried breaded halloumi with honey and garlic. For dessert, caramel cheesecake that was also delicious. In conclusion, a great experience from all points of view. Delicious food, great customer service and a beautiful place.

This Greek restaurant is a total win! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel welcomed the moment you step in. The staff goes above and beyond, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Everything about this place screams authenticity and attention to detail. A must-visit for anyone wanting to dive into a fantastic culinary journey. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is my favourite The Real Greek location that I've been coming to for years, right next to the Thames with great views of St Paul's Cathedral and the sights of Bankside. The restaurant inside is cosy with a warm atmosphere. The service is always good and prompt. Food is delicious and they have good lunch and midweek evening deals. Always come here when visiting London!

Excellent service had the £14.50 each meal. Not advertised - had to ask for this menu. Was very tasty and extremely filling. 😋

Nice place with average food quality. We ordered a set of 2 dishes for £16 per person. The chicken skewer was very dry, and the meat was not hundred percent cooked, with some pink parts. Cook potatoes were very buttery, and the tzatziki sauce had a minimal taste. Service was excellent and swift. However, the ladies' toilet had only one bathroom open, which created a long queue and delays. A few moments felt more like an afternoon tea experience, and the real Greek side was missing.

Staff were polite and prices didn't seem unreasonable for London, but I wasn't impressed with my souvlaki (pictured). It looked rather unappetising once the paper was unwrapped, it was mostly chips/fries in there rather than vegetables, and the sausage was rather dry.

I’ve been here with my family for a quick lunch and let me say what a nice surprise!!!! Super friendly and very fast service, amazing value for and extremely good quality food. The Aperol spritz as a Venetian top notch.
