The venue itself is pretty and uniquely decorated, fun to dance if you’re going with friends. However the coat check situation is appalling. Staff is incredibly rude, there is no good system and you are shoved into an overcrowded line with security guards yelling at you. They ask for the initials for the coat, so beware to know the initials for each coat receipt if your friends hand you a bunch to collect for the group. BEWARE - IF YOU LOSE YOUR COAT TICKET, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE NIGHT TO COLLECT IT. they do not accept photos of the ticket. We had a fun night and were not happy to end on such a chaotic note.

This club has a fish tank with way too many fish in it, to the point where they can’t even swim around at all. The bright lights and music are very distressing to them meaning they are living in a constant state of fear - this is animal abuse.

Awfal new year's night, we booked a table in £200, we bought proseccos and tequilas, run, beers and more, and it was horrible, guards didn't cover anything and a lot of annoying boys got in my table, I even got to fight with us, I tell the guards and didn't do anything, instead one treat me really bad, we thought it will be better to have a table for covid situation, but nobody cares. If you come just pay for the standard entry, you got nothing paying more.

Had a great time dancing all night. The atmosphere is great and it was easy to get a drink. The music was actually really decent and the floors weren't as sticky as I remember from previous visits. Definitely recommend a few drinks before considering this place!

Many people over the last couple of weeks have been concerned about those fish trapped in a fish tank, having to put up with drunk people tapping them and horrible vibrations and music. Yet your club is that arrogant that you have done absolutely nothing to assure people or remove the fish tank. Arrogance at its finest.

This place has a bad reputation and unless you wish to be manhandled by security and / or whoever is working there at the time, I'd steer clear. We'll never visit again. I’ve been many times before and have always had an OK time, without too many issues, but last night was the final time. Clearly is it in decline, as queues are never as long as they used to be and they’ve brought drinks prices down in-line with the rest of Clapham.

Avoid! Security people should be fired! They're breaking the law in an ostentative way and they know it, it's weird nobody documents these things and brings them in front of a court of justice!

Incredibly rude staff (probably 70% of them), emails regarding my booking (karaoke) which proved to be giving totally incorrect information, don’t visit unless you’re black-out drunk or ready to be squared up to by a staff member on a prolonged power trip. Something Infernos can learn is to hide their aggressive staff in the back of the ‘club’ or even better, maybe think twice before hiring them.

Fish are not decor. Having them in a night club is terrible, terrible welfare with the overwhelming loud music, lots of drunk loud people, bright lights and constant vibrations. Absolute animal cruelty. They need to be rehomed!!

It felt like I was prejudge to cause trouble, I'm a small guy and never been so drunk, violent, rude thrown out at venues. Because I am alone I takecare of myself always, sometimes you just don't have friends, and it's hard to admit that... you need a welcoming social environment to dance and have fun, being rejected at the door is not a nice, feeling more isolation in society, I want people to be more aware and considerate the rise in mental health issue these policies maybe harmful...

I really like the idea of a place where you can hear music and buy drinks. Places like this make limitless nights. We haven’t been at infernos yet, but based on the reviews it looks like a stellar place, 5 stars Update: so, now having been there, the “smell” of the carpet is hard to deny, you do get used to it fast so it’s manageable. But apart from that, we had a pretty good night. Infernos is able to facilitate partying in a perfect way, if you like dancing than it’s the place to be. Ps. The balloon drop happend around 02:15 so be ready. O, and don’t fall asleep on the couches for longer than 10 minutes, they don’t like that.

Absolutely disgusted at how our friend was treated at this venue. We all arrived here after having a drink at Tequilla Mockingbird. One friend got through fine. Our other friend displayed her Halifax clarity card which identified her disability. Despite being the same level of sober as the rest of us she was pulled out of line and discriminated against and not allowed into the club. As I did not have a disability, I was allowed in to find our other friend. Absolutely disgraceful treatment... avoid at all costs.

The staff are so horrible to you. We went there for a Christmas Party and not a single staff member smiled the whole time. At the end of the night, they couldn't find our coats, we had our tickets and had waited over an hour in line. They were so rude and mean. You pay £3 for them to look after it and they steal it instead. Worst night out experience, this place should be ashamed.

Good place for a cheesy night on the dance floor. When we spoke up re our concerns for their fish they listened and rehomed them :-) I will be there soon

This establishment has a very intense white hetero vibe - not in a good way. If you are an ugly vanilla boy who likes to elbow people in the back and spend 9quid on an average bev, this is the place for you. Bring ear plugs.

Live fish are used as a decoration in a tank far too small and overcrowded where they are forced to deal with the vibrations from the extremely loud music all night long. Alongside this drunk guests disturb them by tapping on the glass etc. do not support these practices, there is absolutely no need to have these creatures there or living in these conditions. Staff member physically assaulted my friend by grabbing & shoving her on the way out then proceeded to scream obscenities at both of us, I’m almost 100% he was drunk. Spoke to a manager about it & he wasn’t apologetic at all. Spoke to a couple other staff members who informed me this wasn’t the first time he’d done something like this. I can not believe he was hired, embarrassing that a fully grown man think he has the right to manhandle a 21 year old girl unprovoked.

Rude staff, I was visiting from out of the area and won't be coming here again, I rarely feel the need to leave reviews but I will for this one. In my opinion, cattle are treated better, their only care is your money, not the quality of your night or the way you are spoken too - please sort out your company culture it is a huge shame as the place has potential.

The security guards are horrible. They are rude and even once made fun of girls who complain about boys who harass them. I have already argued several times with the security at the entrance because they teased me as I entered with the document from my country, even though they knew from the beginning that I am 33. And they teased me too, because sometimes I went to the club alone and they said “you can't come alone, because you need someone to take care of you”. As if I, a 33 year old woman, needed a babysitter… The manager Chris was always very nice to me and allowed me in. He's the only one that saves this club

This is a sad place. Pls hire an actual DJ rather than someone blasting their mother-in-law’s Spotify playlists. Apparently the bartenders don’t know the different between tonic and lemonade. This place is a stain on the London nightlife scene, I mean it’s carpeted for goodness sake

Booked the Saturday show for a my friends hen do, the show itself was good however the venue smelled like 🤢🍑🚽 and the drinks were ridiculously expensive. No wonder why the club entry is included in the show ticket prices, we left within less than an hour after the show. Would not recommend

Hi, Firstly i want to say a huge thank you for every single one of your security who did everything possible to make me feel better and a big thank you to one of your managers who made sure that i was not removed from the venue till i was functioning… I have never had better customer service in my life. Secondly i am so sorry for the inconvenience caused and being sick in your venue, that’s the last thing your staff want to deal with at work…i do not normally get into a state like that i don’t know what possessed me (i don’t take any drugs). Once again thanks to the whole team and deepest apologies.

A great place for a fun night out. Great music and atmosphere. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. A safe environment to party and let your hair down. I’ve been coming for years and have always come back, even though I live a little far out it’s the No.1 place for a night out . Give this place a go and you won’t regret it. :-)

Booked the Forbidden Nights for a hen do and it was really fun. The after party was so dead though, so we went elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just going for this Forbidden Night show (only on Saturdays) the lady who gave us our tickets were really cocky and rude like she didn’t wanted to be there.

Although bar staff is working well rest of them working at the locker room uselessness at all have no idea what they are doing, giving away coats and jackets without tickets to random people also you can't speak to managers cause they shout at you with security holding hands together. Made me go home without anything middle of night cause they can't do a simple job horrible service and disgusting night club

I’m am absolutely appalled by the bouncers ! My daughter was seen leaving the club then when outside her phone had died and was refused re entry to go to her friends as she couldn’t book an Uber . Now lm not sure if these guys read the papers or watch the news but it’s not the safest of society right now for females and anything could of happened to her trying to get home . Think they need to be a bit more mindful when a female is in this position and be a little more helpful and accommodating . Let’s hope this doesn’t happen to their daughters or sisters ! Maybe management need to brief their staff .

They wouldn't let us in and said it was for a good reason. The reason was the moment they saw our IDs and nationality. We were a group of fine people and still they wouldn't tell us why we had to leave, at least they should have said that they are choosing their clientele based on nationality, age or whatsoever. Really bad experience. Never going back.

we went there for halloween night (paid entry), some of my friends warned us that its not the best club, anyhow we got there and found it to be one of the worst, dark quite gloomy. I didn't particularly liked any of the music that got played (anyhow that's just my taste I guess). The female toilet situation was horrible. 2 toilets in the whole of the club with a few stalls in and with the night passing by most of them got blocked. People passed out in the toilets there was 0 maintenance. I don't understand if its a paid event then there should be some check on the clubs capacity.

Drinks are a bit pricey but fairly standard of nightclubs in the UK. I don't normally go to clubs (or write reviews of them). But found the doormen incredibly rude and aggressive. I don't like to complain but I feel I had to say something. Bar staff were very pleasant

DO NOT buy tickets to watch England games here, they got insanely greedy and oversold the venue, you could not even move let alone get to the bar without missing 15 mins of football and then you were paying 6 quid for a CAN. So greedy and insane health and safety risk doing what they have done. They need to look up station nightclub fire and reassess their ticketing as they are putting peoples lives at risk for greed.

Going to Infernos is much like wetting the bed, at some point in the night you feel an irresistble urge to go so you do and it feels great, then you wake up in a complete mess full of regret. Five stars.

Ohhh, Infernos..where do I begin? I remember my first encounter with it..everyone was talking about it and curiosity was killing me. So one glorious day, after the rugby (6 nations day), I finally got there. Oldies but goodies, massive dance floor, every fancy dress under the sun, great fun crowd and not to mention lovely staff. And the rest is history! Since it has reopened I've been every other weekend and I still love it like it was the first day...the staff is still great and on this note I'd want to mention Carmela, who's absolutely wonderful, helpful and from what I have personally experienced a great host 🤩 Sticky floors (there a staple now, so don't judge it till you try it), dance until dawn, endless great tunes, very beautiful crowd 😀 👌 ..well you get the gist. So partyyy hard !! 🥰 #infernoslondon

Wicked place to go clubbing. The 80's night was killer and I love the vibes inside. Never been to a club with a full aquarium and the bottom floor's vibe with the disco balls and different bars are killer. Would thoroughly recommend.

The prices for the cocktails are high as everywhere in London. A lot of people fit in / were almost too full. The worst thing I experienced was security: totally disrespectful towards guests. When the rest area had to be closed they started shooing everyone away: get up and go. When they were asked that a nicer manner would be appropriate, more security was called and we were literally thrown out / pushed that one was almost on the Asphalt has landed. A NO Go! (Original) Es war meine erste Reise nach London. In der Nacht waren wir in 3 Clubs, einer davon Infernos. Es war der größte Club, mit 2 Etagen (mit unterschiedlichen Musik Richtungen, das war nett ). Eintritt =10 GBP. Es gibt auch einen Ruhe Bereich und Raucher Bereich (im Freien). Die Toiletten sind schrecklich dreckig und stinkig, die Böden im Club sind teilweise klebrig. Die Preise für die Cocktails sind hoch wie überall in London. Es passen sehr viele Leute rein /fast zu voll gewesen. Am schlimmsten habe ich die Security erlebt :total respektlos gegenüber Gästen. Als der Ruhebereich zugemacht werden musste haben sie angefangen alle weg zu scheuchen:steh auf und geh. Als man sie drauf angesprochen hat, dass eine nettere Umgangsform angebracht wäre wurden weitere Security angerufen und wir wurden buchstäblich raus geworfen /geschubst, dass man fast auf dem Asphalt gelandet ist. Ein NO Go!

This place could easily inspire a boss level for a video game and by that I means it looks like a dungeon with sticky floors covered in glass pieces. The aquariums give it that extra mafia look and as you would expect the toilets were already overflowing with pee in just about an hour. I'm not giving it a one star rating because coatcheck was ok and ventilation inside the club was actually quite nice.

Music in this club is verry good(if someone like 80/90's music) price is quite ok. Cloakroom is horrible(must wait about 10-30min to put/receive yours staff) but generaly is a quite good club.

Went here for a girls night out / birthday, we really enjoyed the entertainment, the performers were good and the music after was on point, but the venue was a dive, you can see where it was once a great place but it’s in need of total revamp, the drinks are over priced at almost £10 a drink, served in plastic cuts that are so old and scratched, there fit for the bin the toilets downstairs didn’t have locks and you needed to use the bin to keep them shut, the upstairs toilets were not much better, the floors are so sticky it’s like standing on crewing gum, I drank from bottle to avoid the cups, will not be going there again, over priced total pig sty

Infernos is both iconic and divisive. Don’t like crowded clubs with carpeted floors? Maybe it’s not the place for you. Like fun crowds and classic bangers? Then this might be more of your vibe. Infernos plays lots of 80s, 90s, and 2000s jams. The crowd is mostly young (20s-30s) and definitely a hot spot for socialising. There’s a coat check and lots of space, but keep in mind the central dance floor gets busy. Overall it’s an awesome spot if you’re going out in Clapham!

Great night out in classic London style. You'll find all sort of people in here. Most of them lovely. Great lighting. Good drinks. Friendly staff. Most importantly, it has atmosphere in abundance.

Live up to its name. First our friend that arrived 10min after us couldn't get in as she was alone(?). We had to go to the entrance and prove she was with us. Then the band wasn't great, we thought funny because looked like a karaoke. Finally I wasn't leaving my jacket at the cloakroom because we're going to smoking area quite often, so I left at my side for a moment (in front of the bar and next to the cameras). That wasn't enough to avoid criminals and it was stolen. When I tried to explain to the security what happened instead of try to help, he complained I was walking towards the front door with a glass(?).

Good nightclub with a good vibe, with the music played at just the right level. Just a pity the cloakroom girls seem to have failed their Poundland exams in terms of their poor attitude to the customers.

Went here on a hen do, after visiting another place, the atmosphere was gd. We also booked a table and the manager was helpful in accomdating us. However very sticky everywhere u walk. Also found it cheeky that we were charged £12 entry just before 12am when it should have been £10. I also think places like this now need to invest in charging points for phones, as all of our party were nearly out of battery life which worried us about getting bk to our hotel. Overall we had a gd night tho.

It’s great because it’s huge and it’s all young people but the music is so cheesy. It’s 70s/80’s music all night which I don’t like. It’s raining men, man after midnight. Nothing from this century.

Came in on Saturday with friends, security guys didn’t allow me with my national ID that shows exactly my age . they refer me to a manager (black dude) which he just allowed 4 girls in front of me who didn’t have any ID at all by just asking them : are you really 24 ? They said yessss, he said please go ahead I’m my situation: He said that my ID wouldn’t get scanned, took me one hour to go back home, brought my passeport.. then they allow me in. Inside I gave my national ID to be scanned just to see if the manager was telling the truth.

I know this is a biased review because I've never been to this club, but I was just waiting for an uber on the adjacent street, and was approached by a very friendly security guard from the club who informed me that they're being aware of women waiting alone in this area at night. He recommended I wait on the main road and pointed out a particular spot that would keep me infront of security cameras. At a time where women's safety has lately felt particularly insecure, having a business make a concerted effort to protect and be mindful of its vulnerable means so much. Thank you

Good music but truly awful venue, sticky floors, sticky bar counters and horrendous toilets

Came to Inferno for the Forbidden Nights show with some girlfriends (which was amazing). We were running a little late and worried we might not be let in due to the doors closing at 7:45pm. Thankfully it was no problem and we received our tickets, but as soon we we entered the club the foul smell from the carpet is hard to ignore. To the point it began to make me and my friends nauseous. Sitting as far away from the carpet as possible we were able to watch the show and enjoy our time! Some of our guy friends met up with us afterword and they immediately commented on the stench. The bathrooms were awfully maintained. The music was outdated. The only good thing about Inferno is their Forbidden Nights show!

Karaoke was cheap, I'll give it that, but the karaoke rooms did seem quite out-dated and unloved. Note for Karaoke bookings, despite paying £100 to rent the room, you have to each also pay entry to the club despite not using the dancefloor or DJ. We each had to pay £12 each - this wasn't mentioned when we booked the karaoke. The song selection was ok.

Came a few weeks ago for a friends birthday, the music is pretty cheesy not my kind of thing usually but we had a karaoke room which I never knew existed before then and actually it turned out to be a laugh, Carmen was really fun too. will definitely be back sometime before Christmas!

Good music but the staff are super unfriendly and especially the wardrobe staff are very rude… even broke part of my jacket when i was trying to get it back… better off hiding it than dropping it off… all in all it was fun but experience was definitely hindered by the staff

Infernos is the place to go! There is no party better than Infernos anywhere around South West area! Massive venue, kind staff, cool management and really good DJs. Many different events to fit with everyone’s needs and wants. Great for big parties such as hen or stag do’s! Fun guaranteed 😊

Our host was Shireen who was amazing! We had a slight hiccup with our booking (which was our mistake) and she made such an effort to help us out. She really was the perfect hostess and she gave us the perfect night! The club itself has lots of variety and is great for a good fun night out!!!

Good on a Saturday night

If someone reads this comment I would highly recommend to not go to this place and don’t buy tickets online because you’ll be refused entry based on your ETHNICITY. Me and my friend bought 2 tickets plus the uber rides from our places to the club and went there for our first time as some friends suggested us as a nice club but it didn’t seem so. When we went at the door once we showed our ID’s and security saw that our nationality is ALBANIAN he said go somewhere else tonight guys, we asked for an explanation as we already had tickets and their reply was we don’t have to give explanations, manager said no, we asked for the manager and she came out saying it’s the security I can’t do anything we’re a private venue, so they was throwing it at each other, never felt so discriminated. Racist Security, Racist manager. Take my advice avoid it if you don’t want your night ruined by some low life staff! This experience and the face of that racist security will go viral on social media, racism and discrimination should not be tolerated these days. Also they didn’t refund the tickets.

Everyone's on some kind of power trip. Wish it was cool, but if you treat everyone like trash, what do you expect?
