A body search is pretty standard to get into any club, and I can look over the fact security try to intimidate customers with a police officer watching over you with his blingy SID badge on show as they tell every customer to remove their shoes and go through their body scanners. What I do find unnerving is that should anyone have any difficulty relieving themselves in the bathroom, should you take any longer than they might expect, that they pull you aside and request you go into a small white room with them so they can conduct a second, more thorough full body search, which their highly strung manager smugly declares "is part of their policy you agreed to in their Terms and Conditions" when you bought the ticket (cash only, by the way). I would have walked out at that point, but it was too satisfying to let them search and find nothing on me. Egg is rotten. I will not be back.

Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. Sound system was excellent & good atmosphere all night. Security was tight but in this day n age that's how it's gotta be I suppose. Highly recommend this venue.

The venue itself is fun, especially if you’re looking for a late night haunt.But I cannot believe the security treatment I received. A power hungry security guard took it upon herself to search every inch of my bag. She even questioned soothers I had in my bag. She picked apart my handbag right down to sticks of gum. To make matters worse, she pattered me down and asked why my bra had one wire missing. She actually checked my bra. It’s disgusting this venue can get away with this. Never go back unless you want to be unnecessarily searched and fondled.

Music was amazing, lights are insane, I danced all night till club ended. I personally like the way they check thoroughly at the entrance. I feel so safe and guards were so sweet. When I get out of the club they said “Safe home, girl. Hope you enjoyed well” Anyway I’d like to visit egg again if I have a chance to. Amazing music and loads of people enjoying the night super well. Highly recommended

Place smelt horribly, the crowd is awful and scary, just men that judge you and let everyone feel extremely unsafe with their behaviour, they only accept cash for some unknown reason, security measures were ridiculously high for what the place was. Cloakroom and drinks are extremely expensive, music is bad. Do not come here unless you want to be hate crimed and it’s the wrong crowd for anyone that has a teaspoon of personality, creativity and wears deodorant on a daily basis. Can’t give a zero so I’ll give it a one. Ps I saw rats and bugs all over the toilets💀💀

AVOID this place. Bullyboy aggressive security & management! I arrived with my friend at about 1am & random bouncer shouted at me from a distance & pointed his finger at me and said you are not coming in, you are too drunk, I thought this was strange as this member of staff hasn’t even had the chance to speak to me yet or see my up close. Another bouncer on the same entrance disagreed with the initial bouncer & knew I was sober enough for entry, so he let me in….. Moments later I was stopped by a manager after going through the metal detectors who was called by the initial bouncer & the manager was then backing up the initial bouncer by saying I was too drunk for entry. Me & my friend decided to wait outside before going home as we wanted to see what was going on with the door staff…. They was turning away many well behaved sober looking people. I heard the manager say and joke to the other bouncers, “we’re turning them away because we don’t like what they’re wearing or we don’t like how you look hunny. Ha-ha-ha” They clearly discriminate people here and not allow them In because of how they look as a person. This club is not open or accepting to all. If anything it’s quite the opposite.

Rude unprofessional staff. Had tickets purchased online but still was asked for £10 at the entry. It seems there are multiple events going on at the same time with different tickets. When asked to change the party and offered to pay for the other one security said we cannot mix, otherwise we have to leave. Absolutely makes no sense. Drinks are overpriced and I have seen better environments and floors elsewhere in London. Left 30 minutes after entering and went to a better place.

Sound quality was bad, long queue to get in for no reason (just so they make sure it looks popular from outside I guess). Nothing special at all and definitely overpriced I would say!!! Staff were polite and helpful but I really don’t see why they feel the need to check your ID 3 times before getting to the door and then also scan it and take your photo to keep on file. Said that this was non negotiable for entry and, with expensive, pre-paid tickets this makes for quite an unexpected and annoying surprise. Tried to ask the staff the reason for the scanning of ID and taking a photo but no one could give a specific or legitimate reason! Really uncomfortable process from start to finish

Bouncers told my friend that she was too drunk (we had been in the queue for 1 and a half hours and were dead sober) when she was trying to celebrate her 21st birthday. We were told to stay outside for 20 minutes in the freezing cold. When asked if we could come back in, the bouncers said no and that there was no chance we would be allowed in, despite the fact that a different security guard said we would be allowed in. Disgusting treatment and I’m so mad, awfully behaved security and I will never go back there again.

Awful club. We did a 1hour crowded queue barely breathable to end up being disrespected by the security and search as if we were in an airport. They threw away almost everything I had in my bag. Then the cloakroom guys were so slow it almost took us 2hour from the beginning of the queue to get into the club ! After that we went upstairs. Too much people & the music wasn’t that good. I don’t recommend at all

Pls don't leave items in your jacket. My wireless ear bud was taken from my jacket I observed it when I boarded the cab looking for it.Believe me im.spot on I knew I kept it in my jacket.be aware a d don't want you to experience what I went through.

A really old tired looking club, on the ground floor they were burning incense to try and (unsuccessfully) cover up the smell of sewerage coming from the toilets. The sound system quality was poor, people were smoking weed indoors on the dance floor. There was no dress code standards and there were people in tracksuits and dirty trainers. We went along as a DJ we liked was playing, but would definitely not visit the place again no matter who is playing there. The staff were polite though, so that was the only upside of the venue.

This is the worst club I’ve ever been to in my entire life. The music is terrible, the people are dead and the queue is too long. We had to wait two hours for a horrific club to only have my friend get her ankle twisted in the mosh pit. Never go here, it is awful please don’t waste your hard earned money.

Semi-okay club. Quick and thorough security check. Make sure you check the correct website. It said online before 1am it was free admission but when we got past security they told us it was €25 per person. There was a cost check for €3 which was nice but I didn’t use. Club wasn’t too packed and staff were constantly cleaning the floor. When I went to the bar they had a very slim selection of alcohol. I got 1 beer for €9.50! Music was mid mostly EDM. Very few songs with lyrics. The vibes were good. When me and my friend left the club we went to the street right next to it to hop on a bus. (We sat outside for over 40 mins) the bus never came. While waiting we got verbally harassed, waved and honked at by cars, and talk to by strangers. HORRIBLE experience after we left! We left at 2:00am for reference. We went to back to security asked for help and they kept us safe until we found a ride. We had to get an Uber for €60! I would not recommend this club if you are a woman or group of girls trying to mingle. I would recommend having a trusted guy friend with you AT ALL TIMES! If you decide to go please be aware of your surroundings. If you feel unsafe the security will keep you safe. Stay with them until your Uber is there.

This is the worst club I’ve ever been to. I’m a DJ who’s been to many clubs in Miami and London, but Egg takes the crown for worst club ever. Despite having tickets, we were asked to still pay £10 each person. Regretfully, we paid for each ticket, but the music was terrible and generic. Unfortunately the food was the only good thing about it, but it was overpriced. I wouldn’t ever recommend Egg to anyone looking for fun. The DJs don’t satisfy the crowd, they just do whatever they want. This means they play whatever genre they want without considering the flow or the vibe. I don’t expect Egg to change anytime soon.

Avoid like the plague! I came here with free tickets for entry before 11:30pm. When I got to the desk at 11:34pm, after arriving at the club at 11:15pm and being made to stand in an extremely slow-moving queue, the person said my free ticket was now invalid. They said I would now have to buy a new ticket. I tried to explain that it was the club's own slow-moving queue and very slow security which made me enter the club just after 11:30pm. The person behind the desk was having none of it. The same thing happened to lots of other people who had arrived at about the same time as us. Needless to say my friends and I left Egg and had fun elsewhere.

Big Scam, we paid 30 pounds to come last saterday and nobody was able to enter even if we came relatively early and waited for 1h30 h. They were a queue of more than 400 people that all bought tickets on the website and who was not able to come into the club. So, the club sell a lot more tickets than they have space and they scam people like this. Don't feed that scam.

The event last night was good, but the dance floor did not have air-conditioning and the security measures were extreme and incoherent. They will not let you bring your toiletries but allow people to bring umbrellas. The food was fine, but the event was expensive for what we got.

I've been kicked out for apparently grabbed my girlfriend by the neck in which I didn't but the security guards didn't listen to me, threw me up against the fence and had am ego complex and so they didn't listen to my gf either when she tried to explain the situation. Ruined our night. Really would not recommend.

I recently visited Egg London nightclub , and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a charming and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The decor is a combination of rustic and modern elements that create a welcoming ambiance. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which was diverse and offered a great variety of options. The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the eggs. They were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. In addition to the eggs, the restaurant also offered a variety of other dishes, including pancakes, sandwiches, and salads. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also outstanding, and it complemented the food perfectly. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the portion sizes. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, I highly recommend Egg Junction to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. A really good club playing a variety of excellent dance music. The security were outstanding and I was so impressed how thorough and polite they were. Compared to a couple of other clubs I've been to recently, this was far more professional. Huge thanks to Scott who helped me out at the end of the night too.

Security were angry from the jump no smiles in sight for the night . Shout at you for touching a fence in standing one foot off what they want . Music was on repeat for all night with no changes. Took my jacket to the locker room. To be told cash only , where I took a 10£ note from the atm inside which was 2 £ charge. After giving the money for my jacket I received no change. Came back to ask for the money and said I got my change .

Had a good night. Lots of security, and good tunes. Got in fast on a Friday night and good mix of people around. Had fun and can.my complain. Went well for a night in a major venue.

I had terrible experience with the staff, I get 3 tickets online cost me £67.20 for mates and I for the boxing day special party and after spending 40 mins in the queue and before the checking the ID and the tickets they told me the party has been cancelled while there's music still playing and people still getting inside then one of the staff start telling me that it's not worth going inside there's no enough ladies and the drinks so expensive, I told them I don't care I need to have good time with my friends, but he still telling me this tickets not for this event which there's no event else and told me I can get a refund and after emailing them they told me we can't refund you unless the party has been cancelled or scheduled as the event did take place..so turns out it just scam, I don't know how the club is look I like..so I can't give my opinion, but of you want to get inside it's better to get tickets from door to avoid what happened to me, but the staff are really rude and very bad 👎👎👎

Avoid, Not worth the money, A scam. Plenty of other venues across London to enjoy. The staff here or the people above giving the orders don't know how to be fair to the people inside. I get it, I do, you have to run a business but treat people fair.

I've been going to this place for years now and I've spent hundreds of pounds in here.. had some great nights in the past. Yesterday I brought some friends to show them what a good place it was... we had a drink or two before as one does, we had tickets and documents and money and we waited in the queue for around an hour in the cold which is fine. Once there, they allowed in my uncle and brother and they stopped two of my friends saying they had to sober up, so they kept me and my boyfriend out as well saying we had to stay with our friends. The guards said they would call us in 10 minutes. None of us was crazy drunk and none were on drugs or something. None acting crazy, all properly dressed and in the mood for dancing and spending our money in there. We all had the same amount of drinks and yet they let in only half of the group. They lost about 1000 pounds at least because of what they did. After 30 minutes of waiting we asked the guards if we could go in as we were freezing and half of our group was inside. They kept yelling at us that we had to stay in the corner otherwise they'd send us home. We saw the guards putting their hands on a bunch of people kicking them out.. people who looked totally normal just angry. After more than one hour of trying to find someone who would listen to us, they told us to go home without an explanation. It was 2 am by then. I have to mention they let in people on drugs, people acting crazy and and people carrying drugs, which we saw while waiting in the queue. While in the queue they kept asking girls to go in first and the guards grabbed me and my friend (that they did not let in afterwards) a couple of times trying to get us in but we were with our partners and we didn't want to go in without them. I believe this is what triggered them. The fact that we were two couples. In fact, they only allowed in those of us who were alone. Worst experience ever. You don't treat people like this. You never know when I'll be the boss of them one day soon and you never know when they'll need help one day and we won't give it. Never going back again and neither are other 30 people that I could have taken there. Not giving my money again here. This is the first time in my life something like this happens and I've been to clubs all over Europe. The worst staff on this continent.

Paid 30 pounds for a very average club. Music wasn’t for us, which we expected, but definitely thought we’d have a better time for the cost. Also, don’t buy tickets in advance, it’s a scam, you still wait in a queue (for what, I’m unsure, as it was empty inside).

Reading all the negative reviews got me scared before going here. We were visiting from The Netherlands to see Kream at Egg on a friday night. Either all the people writing the negative reviews have never been to a night club, festival, rave, etc. or they have an agenda against Egg, because I had an amazing time and nothing weird happened. Yes, there is security(like at every rave/festival/club). You get your usual ID check(ID conditions are clearly stated on their website), you empty your pockets and get patted down. THIS IS NORMAL and essential for an event venue like this, especially in a big city like London. The queue outside was fine as well, took us maybe half an hour to get in. I've experienced a lot worse. Yes, the drinks are expensive, but this seems to be the case everywhere in London. Of course you pay more for a beer in a club than at Tesco. Again, nothing weird. Staff was friendly enough. It seems that, when you treat them with respect, they will do the same. Crazy right? Music was a bit loud though, so bring your earplugs. Again, nothing weird. The Cloak room experience, even though it is cash only(which is also clearly stated everywhere), was perfectly fine as well. They note your initials to make sure your jacket can't be taken when you lose your ticket, pretty smart stuff. They have an amazing smoking area to chill out, have a smoke and a chat. It's covered so you won't get rained on. All in all we had a great time and there's nothing out of the ordinary with this venue. I get that some first-timers might be put off by some of the security measures or other "weird" things about clubbing/raving, but if you're a regular, you'll have a great time here! My other guess would be that the vibe and atmosphere could vary based on the music/theme of the night. I can only speak on the house/techno/edm side of things(Kream), which was amazing. Other nights at Egg might be different.

£30 cash entry on the door but you can use card inside. Suggest HMRC pay a visit. Not awful if you enjoy techno but the place is a rip off and full of drugs (no surprise) so security clearly don't do their job properly.

I payed for a freshers wristband that I was supposed to be able to pick up between 6pm-9pm yesterday at Egg, I traveled 30 minutes to pick and it for the location to be closed. I was told I could then pick it up at the door at the event itself later. My friends and I waited in the queue for over 2 hours only to be denied at the door because they were “at capacity”. This place clearly oversold tickets and only cares about getting money.

I had much higher expectations for a London club. The security process was okay, if a little thorough and very slow, but the interior and the atmosphere wasn't what I expected. We stayed a total of 30 minutes then moved on to a better club

Was a bit apprehensive going to this club after reading these reviews. Security did pull girls out of the queue to let them in before men which was odd. Queue was quite slow moving both outside and cloak room. Other than that we had a great time, club wasn’t too hot, plenty of space to dance, plenty of areas to have a breather. I have recently been to the Egg London Night club and I experienced search misconduct from the doorman. Basically the club allows doorman to search through groin area, and when I challenged that the doorman did not change his behaviour and was rude and tried to provoke me for it. I escalated to the duty manager who confirmed that brushing through groin area was part of their searching policy. Based on UK Bouncer rules and regulations, that doorman’s actual search must be confined to bags, pockets, and outside clothing (e.g. a jacket). Additionally, bouncer would need customer permission to conduct a 'legal' strip search. Customer would also have to give consent for any search made on the interior clothing. Either way, these types of searches must be conducted in private and in the presence of an independent witness. In a nutshell, the club's search policy is not aligned with relevant rule/regulation/law. And there is no sign on the wall or to communicate to me or any other customers of what type of search it will be carried out, and certainly there was no information or asking for consent about the level of the search. I had emailed the club and the duty manager's (who provided the email address that day) numerous times to have more clarification but no reply has been given. So I am writing here to let the people know and I encourage people to protect themselves necessarily when it comes to body search, or to refuse to go the club. And certain action needs to take place against their policy.

Great staff, but in Night club they provide only drinks not food and drinks are costly or overrated ( high Price).

Epic night! We loved the place! Absolutely amazing for our after party!! Great vibe!! The staff is super friendly,polite and professional, from the security to the bartenders, they were all great! Yesterday I wanted to call the police when one guard for no reason told my friend to leave the place, and when I asked him what reason he couldn’t be able to answer. That guard ruined our evening. Dirt place!!!

I first started going to the egg nearly 10 years ago now and back then it really was a special place, I remember they even had a sand pit! I recently visited again and can say it has really went down hill in a big way! It has lost its edge, the place doesn't really have any atmosphere at all. Take my advice and don't waste your time going here...you will be disappointed with it.

I used to come on this club and use to love it and i actually still but just became very expensive for nothing. I paid a shot of vodka 9 pound, and the second round of it i paid 10 pound for it, so how much is it? Also i paid for shot of tequila 7,50 i work as a bartender in different clubs and normally the vodka cost less than a tequila. So i don't understand how a single shot of vodka cost 9/10 pound. Obviously all the rest was very expensive. The music wasn't the best. And you can't wait your boyfriend outside the toilet that the security send you away. So what they want us to do,go to clubbing alone?

I put an event on New Year’s Day 2024 I would like to say that they’re head of security. A gentleman called Kingsley was extremely professional in dealing with the few set backs that plagued my event , without him and the understanding of the owner Spencer my event may not have succeeded, so many thanks.

There is no food in the nightclub. Only drinks which are highly overpriced. Also, the worst part was that drinks were adulterated. So that you drink more and they earn more. Interior is also not good. Newdelhi has far better nightclubs.

Half the club has been lost to development, but three rooms left still have a great vibe. A lot of staff around on the night - all friendly and helpful, not hassly at all. Great night for SuperFreq with Mr C, Miss C, Eddie Richards. Top fun. Managed to lose my phone there just before going on holiday. It was there waiting for me 10 days later. Club is smaller than it was, but maybe that's a good thing. Well run venue. Thank you!

I’ve been to this club several times but the last I was so impressed by the amazing staff over there. The whole team was really caring and friendly, which made the experience much more enjoyable. Music was also very nice as always. Thank you so much!!

Anyone who votes for this club in DJ Mag top 100 clubs needs to wait until the 'effects' have worn off. Seems like the place is run by a gang. The security queue is split into men and women when around 70% of club goers there are men. They should adjust the security lines to get people through the door faster. The metal detector is genuinely for comedic effect, set it off or not you're still getting searched. The bartender doesn't care if you've been waiting for 15minutes if you grab their attention, you're next. Drinks are extremely overpriced, £40 for 2 vodka cokes and a beer. There are no accessible toilets and only one cubicle working on each floor. The cloakroom took 45-60minutes to check a jacket and then security kept bringing what I assume were VIPs to the front extended the time. When I got near enough I complained that there is only one attendant at coat check, only to be met with backlash and stand offish behaviour. Most staff working there have an attitude. Only when the DJ I came to see started playing that I forgot all that for a couple hours. Couldn't even make a quick exit because it took another hour to retrieve our jackets. Only reason I went because of the artist, I don't think it's enough now to bring me back.

Went there last night with my friends. The music was so bad. The main dj who we went there for, showed up around 4 am when we were already back home. We did not enjoy the crowd either.

Had a good night overall. When I was leaving I realised my phone was off and I couldn’t call a cab. I wouldn’t be able to go home without Sue’s help! Thank you

Travelled up from South Wales, tickets, vaccine passport, one of my friends forgot his driver's license, no discussion just unfriendly door staff moved us straight out the queue, he is 41. Had some great nights there in the past but this left a bad taste

Me and my friend have valid IDs, they let my friend in and then scanned my ID and said they’re was a glitch in the system.Without giving any further information sent us away! also extremely slow queue and rude staff. And no refund.

Reviewing the place not an event. Lots.of different levels and bars to enjoy, well designed cloakroom that's fast and efficient. Outdoor and open spaces feel great at night and have a real buzz. Security was throuough and you need ID but all London clubs have required this for a long time. There's food available too, drinking were particularly expensive but its London and no different to anywhere else.

Always buzzing with good music & friendly crowd. The restaurant also offers an excellent selection of Plant-based tapas which was delicious & good portions. Excellent selection of drinks from cocktails to Mexican beers...even better to get those during the happy hour. Helpful staff. Top spot for a fun evening.

Had a great night at Julian Jordan at Egg! Thorough security made me feel safe and easy, simple entry was great. Drinks are obviously expensive but it's worth it because the atmosphere and vibe was insane

The staff was super helpful with anything I asked and friendly so maybe people just need to be polite to get a polite response back as I had no issues 😅 I had an amazing night seeing Julian Jordan with my friends and will definitely go back again for future events! Drinks are pricey but it's a club event in London haven't been to a club yet where prices aren't high 🤣

Had a brilliant time at a day event but I unfortunately dropped my ring between the decking!! I contacted egg and the wonderful Agata looked for and found my ring and sent it back to me. She went above and beyond and I am forever grateful. Can't wait for the next event there!!
