Booked through a useless promoter who was no help sending us back and forth instead of actually being of assistance. Travelled all the way from Leeds, booked 2 tables and getting there in good time adhering to the dress code also, was denied entry yesterday for being at full capacity 🤨 whilst still allowing people in groups to line up in both lines instead of turning them away(makes no sense). Was asked irrelevant questions to do with my entry and was looked up and down as if I was being assessed. Overall just wasn’t the greatest experience. I don’t wanna say it was racially fuelled however I don’t think I’m far off. I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!

I’ve never previously had any issues getting into any club, and I’ve been to some of the most exclusive clubs in the world. However, my friend and I seemed to have an issue with this place and the attitude of the the SAME woman with the clipboard (that so many other people have complained about) was disgusting. I would probably expect this stuck up attitude from someone who’s actually attractive but this woman obviously seems to think she’s at that level. She needs a slice of humble pie because that attitude makes her look bitter and jealous. Fix it.

Security team was really patient, I’m impressed! Vibe was good! Took a little a long time to get in despite having a table, which result in missing the performance on 7th anniversary. :(

I’ve always had a good time in tape, but it’s who you know sadly, went with a black guy but he knows everyone who works there. These clubs can defo discriminate against darker black women which isn’t right, because they like black guys!

Avoid!! Worst club experience ever! Rudest, abrupt and most miserable staff and security I’ve ever met. Overcrowded, horrendously overpriced rubbish drinks with very little choice. Also witnessed blatant racism to other guests. If you want a good night out avoid this place. Should be shut down !

Terrible experience from entry to exit, looking at me, the receptionist said that there was only space for those who reserved a table, i said that i reserved it, she confirmed my name and didn't want to let my friend come in with me, even though she was my guest and i booked a table. They couldn't tell me which table it was, everything was crowded, poor organization of space, i still don't know which table it was, as i had to stand on the dance floor (which was actually a hallway) since no one knew which one was my table. No one wanted to explain anything. When I asked the security guard, he just told me “try that table over there” where there were about 2 men and several women dressed very vulgarly. I believe the security guard got the wrong impression of me. When buying drinks, people don't respect the line. Place with snobbish people who feel superior (from the employees to the costumers) in addition to the drink being bad. I also noticed that at the entrance they didn't want to let any Indian boy enter even with his ID, by showing my Brazilian passport, I didn't have to wait any longer in line. I don't know if it was something discriminatory towards the boy. I couldn't stay in that place for 20 minutes, when I asked the security guard where the exit was, he showed me the bathroom, I went to the bathroom like a fool, then I came back and said I wanted to know where the exit was and not the bathroom, and he told me that if I left, I wouldn't be able to go back in (you can be sure I wouldn't want to go into that place again). Terrible place, snobbish employees, discriminatory and sexist. I'm sure my entry was allowed just because I was a Brazilian woman, but to their surprise, I had money to spend, I wasn't in the club for the purposes that the security guards believed. All in all, one of the worst club experiences of my life. I will never go back to this place and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely VILE. Me and a girlfriend who came down to visit from Manchester were on the guest list for tape, arrived on time with only 2 other groups in the queue - were kept waiting for a good 10 minutes whilst the female door staff assessed you up and down to decide if you made the cut. We were glammed up, blow dry, Loubs, the lot to be told AFTER we were asked to give our names that the club was at full capacity when the girls in front and behind were let in. I have been to some of the biggest clubs in the world; 1 Oak, Libertine, LIV and had an amazing service at all of them. You wonder why young girls end up having mental health issues and lack of self esteem when things like this happen. It should be ILLEGAL and I am surprised this has not been addressed yet. Absolute shambles of a night (probably the worst night out i've ever had) and was left absolutely mortified.

My friends and I were put on the guest list through a promoter however this female with a clipboard told us we were unable to go inside despite being on the guest list because they were 'prioritising regulars'. She was very rude and condescending, even when we were walking away the bouncers told us to 'hurry along'. We all dressed to fit the dress code and were on the guest list AND we were third in line - I believe this was also racially fuelled. They only let you in if you have a certain 'look' (a.k.a you're a white girl with lip filler). NOT POC FRIENDLY AT ALL. This clipboard woman obviously thinks that she has a say on looks. Please. Miss girl you need to get a grip and sit down. Don't think she would let herself into the club if she were in our shoes.

Security are great 10/10 Waiters are awesome. Front of house staff are useless. Not worth the hype. Club has a identity crisis it’s not quite Mayfair worthy. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

However, my experience with the Reservations Manager, Theresa, was both unhelpful and disrespectful. The communication regarding the booking was initially unclear, requiring several exchanges to confirm its status. To prevent any potential disappointments, Theresa requested extensive personal information, including ID, full names, occupations, and either Instagram or LinkedIn accounts for all guests. Although some individuals in our group had previously visited the club, I later contacted Theresa to inquire about the progress of our booking. To my surprise, Theresa responded with a phone call filled with shouting and rudeness, claiming that the names provided led to dead ends. When I sought clarification on her statement, she struggled to effectively communicate and reluctantly admitted her inability to find the requested LinkedIn accounts. This raised the question of why Instagram accounts were even necessary if LinkedIn was the preferred platform. Furthermore, Theresa made peculiar remarks such as suggesting that the club might not be suitable for us, leaving me utterly perplexed about the purpose of her call. She even claimed that mine was the first booking to submit private Instagram accounts, despite it being common for individuals to prioritize their privacy online. The request for Instagram accounts seemed entirely irrelevant and unjustified for a paid table reservation. Ultimately, Theresa failed to provide clear instructions for the booking requirements or propose a way forward. After weeks of fruitless correspondence and missed opportunities for alternative club bookings, she abruptly suggested that I find another establishment, insinuating that the current club was not a good fit for me.

My friend and I was in Tape for Halloween and can not tell you how rude the staff are, from the girl on the door to the non stop staff walking into you or forcing themselves through you on the "dance floor" 🤔 kept just being pushed about by them,told to move evne tho there was no space, awfully overcrowded they let too many people in, it was awful. The only nice staff was the girl that took photos thats about it. Do not recommend at all, go somehere good.

Horible service. You going to lose your time waiting for 40 to 60 minutes in the enrrance. They dont have anyone to check the "Guest List". And you gonma feel that because you donr pay reservation youre less so u need to wait. Almos 12 people in security. Just one checking the reservations. I dont really think this place can be like this for long. My friend got an infection cause they didnt leave her enter after 40 minutes waiting to enter. Not much to say. Disgusting

I have honestly never seen a more un happy miserable looking staff in my life! The security were nice and friendly etc and actually looked like they didn’t mind working but the actual staff looked like they would actually rather die than be there working! It just sort of kills the vibe especially when it’s supposed to be a more high end fancy club when in actual fact it’s very far from it. Honestly wouldn’t come again.

Don’t even go here on Tuesday. It was a my friend birthday and after diner at the maine we wanted to keep celebrating her birthday and went there. We waited 50 minutes and in the end we left. They don’t explain anything and they only keep u waiting. I will never go here even in other days of the week.

Rude staff! Did't let us in because our shoes were too 'casual'. Wore regular sneakers like everywhere else & also explained to them that we were tourists and didn't know. Shame on them

If you thrive off appearances and being judgey, this place is for you. The vibe inside doesn’t warrant the way the staff behave. It’a a boring club for people who are more concerned about how they look than having fun.

I had a really good night with my friends, the music was spot on and the hostess that took me down to my friends table was really friendly. The staff out the front was very welcoming and the staff on the table made sure my drink was always topped up. 5 star

DO NOT GO HERE! The staff are horrible and the most miserable people I have ever seen. They want only attractive young girls and have no time or respect for anyone other then those girls. They add you to a guest list and then either make you pay to get in or straight up say no entry! I will never be going here again.

doesn’t even deserve 1 star. racist girl at the entry. mean girl vibe. we were 4 girls (beautiful, mannered and decently dressed, ready to have a good night) talking with a staff guy cause it was the first time for us there (we’re tourist) then she popped up from nowhere telling there were no place for ppl with no bookings and she suggested we go to the bar near (a bar that was « cheap »). when we left and followed the direction she gave us (we’re tourist once again we don’t know all places there) she laughed behind our backs about it because it was a joke for her. lame attitude. unworthy place. she wouldn’t even get to a club in France, as we say she’s a cagette, grosse folle , un légume !

Awesome ... Such an experience when I went there. Loved the live set of music and the ambience was superb. Was a little difficult to get in, but once in was absolutely perfect for a clubbing night.

Worst place to go, went with my friend for nye weekend. And security had told my friend she was to drunk. The security guard made us stand outside in the rain for 25 mins saying we only had to stand there for 5 mins to get air. We was not aloud our coats from the cloak room and it was pouring down with rain. We had asked the security for an umbrella as we were in a dress with nothing to cover us and they all ignored us.

Celebrated mine and my friends birthdays here for a few years now and always had the best time. Always such good music and service, all the staff are really friendly and go to all efforts to celebrate your birthday.

Went once on a Saturday night, and it was a really nice experience. The staff was overly helpful and attentive to me and my friends. Lulu (clockroom man) was very patient and nice to us. He’s doing a hard job and he’s doing it very nicely! Also, the security guard were super kind looking after my friends while we waited for the Uber

At the door we have been informed that the table is 100£. We have proceeded, however when we got to the bouncer inside it was 1000£ all of a sudden. We still payed and were escorted to the table, but the bouncer came after us and started yelling at us. He kicked us out for no reason, he did not want to do a refund. We got it after we complained up front to the bouncers in front of club. Worst experience ever! Hospitality 0, won’t be coming back ever.

Tape Night Club exceeded expectations, and Raf as our host added an extra layer of excitement to the night. The music was fantastic, the ambiance was vibrant, and Raf's hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Can't wait to return.

Had a fantastic experience, the vip service was higher than expected and the door staff were great! Will definitely be joining when I return to the UK!
