Superb! I booked tickets for our group of 7 for my birthday celebrations and we were welcomed into the venue. The waitress looked after us and we were guided to seats, drink orders taken and danced the night away to funky jazz, blues and soul, a great atmosphere, everyone was very warm and friendly. It was excellent and a treat we will be hopefully repeating. A wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

A very long overdue visit to Ronnie Scott's. Brilliant atmosphere, very chilled, relaxed and excellent service. The lunch menu was simple but enough to satisfy most tastes. Prices are slightly on the high side but overall food quality is good. The music is on another level, the Shear Brass band is phenomenal, such talented musicians. Well worth the £17 entrance just to witness such great musicianship. I will return to Ronnie Scott's again.

This place is a very, very nice club for jazz and R&B. 1 of the best I've ever been in. The wings were 🔥 fire. That means wonderful. With a killer price of $7.00. The band was on point. With different types of tunes. Especially some Stevie Wonder. I was totally impressed. The highlight of my vacation by far. I was even spreading the word to people that I met in my journey.

Been an infrequent patron for decades now, and I’ve absolutely loved every single visit. The place is pleasingly resistant to change; which is a real strength when the vibe, setting and music are consistently so good. It feels like being warmly hugged and gently whispered to whilst being bathed in soft red light. I can’t think of a place matches it for atmosphere. Wine is all very trad but good, and not unreasonably priced for the area and the late closing hours. Food is kinda 90’s / 00’s functional but alright for grazing. The music is consistently excellent and the sound mixing exemplary. Staff are always nice and drinks are swift, though table service can be a bit slow to start when doors open. There are few places I’d rather spend an evening. It’s ace.

Lovely jazz bar. The first show upstairs didn’t start until a bit past 7pm. Still had walk-in seats when online tickets were sold out.

Ronnie's is a premium music venue , it attracts great talent, it's small, seated and you have a good view from anywhere in the venue. One real plus is that they don't allow you to use your phone during the gig to take pictures so there's no distraction from the person next to you recording the gig on his tablet...... I took a few stage photos before the concert, but you're there for the music, which could be blues, jazz or funk. I went to see Soft Machine (front row), but the Friday before it had been Billy Cobham, however you are just as likely to see young, up and coming musicians as well. (Soft Machine were gifted musicians who played some great instrumental music. Some of the members were from their 70s line up, I loved it! ) The table service is good as is the steak and they have a good list of whiskies if you're so inclined. It does sell out, so it's best to book online and you don't get a ticket, you go on the list which they check when you arrive and you're then taken to your table. It's rather old school and quite endearing! If you just want a taste, you can always go to Upstairs at Ronnie's which still features new music and is usually easier to get in. To be honest, I haven't been upstairs for decades, though, but I do have memories of having to lug a bass amp up those stairs! They were quite steep... Ronnie's Scott's is an iconic venue and worth the trip. You should go!!

Good jazz but felt like a tourist trap. It's such an iconic location you feel that if you are even a part-time jazz fan it is going to be on your bucket list. Wednesday night regular, trumpeter Andy Davies and guests in the upstairs bar gave a great performance - no criticism with the music. Good price for the tickets £10 in advance or £12 on the door. But with £5 online booking fee, already more for the two of us, ho-hum but a sign of things to come. The online booking form also asked me to check a box that we would not disrespect the acts by talking through the performance. Brilliant, we thought, as have had gigs ruined by that in the past. Sadly, this was not enforced in the slightest as several tables nearby seemed to find that the jazz was interfering with their conversation and raised their volume. Why were they even there if they were not interested in listening to the music? And so to the drinks. We expected prices to be on the high side, and they exceeded our expectations, even before the ridiculous service charge. Bottle of wine, £56.00, bought AT THE BAR, came with an additional £7 service charge. For what? removing the cork? Felt like we were being fleeced. Next time I'll do some research and see where the locals go to listen to live jazz.

Great place! We came to watch a late show on a Saturday night (Sunday morning!). You definitely need to sort your tickets 🎟 beforehand as the queues were fiendish. Music was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. The table service was also first rate. Definitely one off the bucket 🪣 list and a great night as well.

Fabulous time at Ronnie's on a Sunday. We had lunch which was plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We loved the intimate atmosphere and the jazz was fabulous, a tribute to Cole Porter. Will be booking again on a Sunday, highly recommend if you love live music.

Saw the sublime Vanessa Haynes here last night. She and her superb band were stellar! Having not been to Ronnie Scott’s before, we were not sure what to expect. The seating is different to other jazz clubs we’ve been to. The ‘standard’ seats are tiered long seats each sitting 4 people facing towards the stage. A ‘premium’ seat gets you a proper table with a good view. There is also ‘restricted view’ seating (there are 2 columns on one side of the club. Check out the seating plan on the website). We were very happy with our standard seats, despite arriving 10 minutes after the doors opened and being at the end of the queue! All in all a fabulous night of soul and jazz/funk.

We were very excited about Ronnie Scott's and had booked tickets for 4 people at 6pm. We queued at 5.45, doors didn't open til 6pm, and after a temperature check, was shown to our premier seats. Lovely spot, fab decor and atmosphere. Staff were very busy and didn't take our order for drinks and food for half an hour. Prosecco was over priced but we thought it was a special occasion so we splashed out. We ordered 2 courses which was lovely, despite not being able to see it due to the lights being dimmed as the band started at 7pm. Band were brilliant! They played until 7.45, then we were promptly told to pay our bill and leave so they could clean the club ready for the next house to arrive!! We thought we had until 10pm to finish our very expensive bottle of prosecco, meal and enjoy the ambiance!! So, if you don't mind paying £500 for 2 hours experience this is the place for you! The club should inform people of the time limit because we would not have ordered a 2 course meal!! Used and abused!!

Very cool place to attend for amazing artist concerts. Artist lives dont necessarly belong to pure jazz music but they might come from different backgrounds. I'd suggest to be there 30+ mins before the opening door time because the best spots are allocated by the venue manager based on the queue position.

This place is amazing. I saw Marcus Miller one of the best bass players in the world. The waiters/waitresses look after you really well. Its worth the price of entrance we paid about 130.

I went to this place to celebrate 🍾 my milestone birthday and it did not disappoint. Had a nice table outside in the terrace as it was a sunny summer day , but the tables inside were equally gorgeous as the interior is meticulously done at high standard. After our gorgeous meal we sat at the bar and had a few cocktails, prepared a friendly staff . I Want to come back soon !!

The best place to visit especially after a hard working week. The line for entrance was about 45-50minutes. You need to pay extra for your coat/jacket if you want to hang them. You can order variety of drinks and cocktails and enjoy the concert. When we visited the concert started around 12am. It was for more than one hour.

We ALL thoroughly enjoyed our 1st visit to this classic club, it’s been on my bucket list for sometime ! We will be back soon 🤩 Our show started at 9.15 and finished about 10.45. You are encouraged to stay and listen to the next group play at midnight. Or you can turn up and pay on the door for the midnight band. Probably the best jazz venue in the world 👍loved it 😊

A mind-blowing performance by the one and only Joey De Francesco Trio! The venue is beautiful inside and no matter where you sit you get a great view of the stage. This place is very recommended for anybody who appreciates the art of jazz. I'll definitely be back. It was definitely one of the best experiences life has brought to me.

It is a 'bucket list' event for me. Wanted to go like for ever. It was as I imagined but bigger. Legendary. The food and service were second to none. The act was very good but maybe not musically to my taste. I am a huge Georgie Fame fan.

I enjoyed a great experience ever. Ronnie's Scotts's atmosphere was so fascinating. And cocktails were perfect. I highly recommend this cocktail which is called the Ronnies sours. 🍸 Severs were very kind and today's performance of "Marquis Hill" was absolutely amazing 👏 I can't sleep tonight.

Had a great night at Ronnie Scott’s, attended an early show, it was the place my father always dreamt of going and I guess I lived that dream for him. I was surprised at home intimate the place was, my perception was that it would have been bigger inside. Service was by and large on point. My 4 star rating is based around the inability to really cater for Coeliacs, there is this always arrogance that the higher the cost, the less you should be catered for. As a main course your only option if you cannot eat gluten is steak, I asked about other dishes that had no real reason to contain gluten other than laziness and the response was underwhelming. In the end I has to eat a starter and a side as a main, it’s really not difficult to create two gluten free dishes on a menu, that doesn’t mean you have to eat a starter, about 10% of the UK cannot eat gluten and places of the ilk of Ronnie Scott’s should be taking that on board.

Ronnie Scott's is absolutely fantastic. Great musicians, great staff, food is tasty and reasonably priced. There's something for everyone and I just loved the vibe upstairs when I was there for Benoit Viellefon. Can't wait to come back very soon. Highly recommended for an evening out.

Loved everything about it. Went for Saturday morning brunch which consisted of a 2 course breakfast type menu, 2 good cocktails and 1 1/2 hours of music. Great value for money. Top tip - don't eat before you go!

My favorite jazz bar in London! Try to come here late at night. Entrance is cheaper and you sometimes get more experimental shows or artists. I’ve never eaten there and typically just get some drinks. Not too expensive and quite relaxing to have a nice night out

Had heard so much about this place and wasn't disappointed at all! The two performances that I witnessed were absolutely amazing and made me wonder how brilliant their eclectic curation must be every night. Book in advance though - tickets are generally sold out if you decide to go there on a whim.

Second visit to Ronnie Scott's for my other half's birthday. The music has been fantastic both times, great atmosphere clearly full of music lovers. The staff work incredibly hard and fast, zipping around bringing drinks to everyone's seats. The cocktails were delicious. It's a special experience and a lovely night out.

This is an institution but no less special for that. Sunday lunch was great - reasonable pottions, washed down with great cocktails. Ronnie's was packed but even so, staff managed to serve everyone quickly and correctly

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! I adore jazz and am 100% coming back. A great night out and an even better place to celebrate a birthday! Ronnie Scott's has an extensive cocktail list and very friendly staff, we saw W3 Funk Sessions and can't wait to see them again! Can't recommend enough 🥰

One of my favourite places to spend an evening. I’ve been a couple of times and I’ve always been impressed by the talent on show. The cocktails are really good and they have an extensive drinks menu. A must visit if you love live music, especially jazz.

Saw the amazing Curtis Stiger, a great performer, singer & saxophonist. Had a wonderful evening at Ronnie Scott's. Great service, excellent menu and good and cocktails. A brilliant place for couples or group of friends as its a very intimate smaller venue which gives a really wonderful more personal service and connection to the music and artist performing. I've been 4 times now and loved each time I've been.

It's Ronnie Scott's and the fab music of the Craig Wild band. First time eating and the food and cocktails were excellent. Great to see some live music for the first time since lockdown

Ronnie Scott's does not require any intro: this is The place for live jazz. Food is good too. The atmosphere can be perceived as a bit cold at times, with individual tables only available in the central area and seats arranged in rows all around. It's probably not in my top list of places I would go if what I'm looking for were just a place to have a good dinner with friends, but live music is a real experience here, don't miss it!

  • 5/5 Josie F. 3 months ago on Google New

First time in years back at Ronnie Scott's. Peggy Lee tribute on this lunchtime which was excellent. Food, service & atmosphere were lovely and would recommend. Will be back, maybe just drinks and music next time for a change

A MUST! If you’re in London you have to catch a gig at this Jazz Bar ! Wow I saw Reuben James and what a talent! The ambience and the drinks are so good! I didn’t have food but it looked so good will deffo have to come back and try!

  • 5/5 Philip M. 2 years ago on Google
The home of jazz in London. Typically two main shows a day with musicians that you'll likely know. Shows at about 6pm and 8.30pm. And then there's usually a late show, running past midnight, comprising less well known locals. Ronnie's is a shockingly small and comfy venue given it's reputation and line-ups. There isn't a bad seat in the house. But I most recommend the seats between the bar and the recessed main floor. Beer, wine and cocktails are both good and well priced. If you're hungry, there's food. Though ideally you're not munching through Nils Petter Molvaer is I once found myself doing 🙊

  • 5/5 Conor994 2 years ago on Google
Amazing, loved being inside here. I'm not sure if this is standard for jazz clubs but you can get dinner during the show. Drinks are brought to your table. Really enjoyed this.

  • 4/5 Sonia Richard J. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic live performance without a doubt! For someone who doesn't listen to much jazz, it was still enjoyable. However the venue's nibbles and drinks fell short of expectations.

  • 5/5 Peter W. 2 years ago on Google
Superb venue, great musicians, good food and drink, fantastic atmosphere when we enjoyed the set from jazz-funk band Incognito. The club held our tickets over for us from 2 years ago, when Covid first struck, and have been very helpful in rearranging dates not once, but twice. Excellent!

  • 5/5 Alice A. 2 years ago on Google
Went for an earlier show on a Saturday and glad we pre booked because it was sold out! Such a great atmosphere in there and having waiters walking around was very useful to be able to order drinks. Myself and my boyfriend were lucky that we had a bench at the back which only seated two, whereas many other groups of two were on the same bench together, which probably wouldn't have felt quite as special. Such an amazing array of cocktails so of course I tried a few and they were all delicious! Really great to see that they offer vegan egg white replacement for cocktails which would normally have egg white in too. The music was amazing and it went very quickly! It's not a cheap experience but worth it for a treat!

  • 5/5 Chris V. 1 year ago on Google
Bucket list stuff. Simply one of my all time night spots in the world. Try the late late show for a more relaxed laid back jazz & cocktail experience. You’ll love it. Tell your friends.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch jazz venue. The food equalled the great music. Very professional and friendly service team. It all exceeded our expectations. Recommended 100%
