Went for the Paint & Vino event and absolutely LOVED it! Was a little surprised that the ticket didn't come with wine, just the paint materials. 100% recommend and would do it again. Such a relaxing way to spend time with friends. Wouldn't recommend bringing your children. The artist was here to guide us through our individual paintings so it's not a "tutorial" as you're free to create whatever you'd like.

DON’T GO THERE! Save your money and simply avoid it. Staff at the door is extremely rude, food is awful, vibe was bad. And on the top of that you can’t even go out of the venue and come back in once you are inside- you’ re literally stuck inside (why do they even give you a stamp..?!). We paid 15£ (!!) to watch a rugby game and I don’t even know why you have to pay to go to such a terrible place, with bad organisation and rude staff. A SCAM. I really don’t recommend!

Great venue. Typically two sets of music going, a main stage with big acts, and a central room with something else going on. Great to be able to swap between. Decent sized covered patio as well.

I am sorry to say we went to see the drag show, so very disappointed as the night went on. My friend had won the bingo at the drag, show. Unfortunately for her the drag artist became very abusive and threatening behaviour towards her. The reason behind this was because she tapped the artist on the shoulder, which we do have video evidence In my opinion, it was totally uncalled for as it was. Said at the beginning of the show. to be kind to, everyone doesn’t cost anything all I can say the drag queen didn’t show any kindness what’s so ever Big shout out to the girls who were very sympathetic by walking out, as they were quite appalled by this behaviour the management of the pub, we’re absolutely brilliant

I went to a Drag Bingo event with a friend, except, to our surprise, there was no bingo – the host said they didn’t have any balls and the replacement games amounted to a series of dance offs with people picked from the audience. There was also only one Drag Queen. Pretty poor for Saturday night entertainment. We still had fun with the people on our table but it was in spite of the show, not because of it.

Really good girls night out. The senary was beautiful, picture perfect at the table area near the entrance large venue and very busy. Food was slow to come due to the tables not being labeled clearly. When explaining the attitude was heavy but then balanced out by the lovely chef who compensated for the mix up. Was a tad on the expensive side for the portion but was nice (would have been banging had the order arrived hot) it has two rooms

We hired the Brixton Jamm Front Room space for a private event and we all had incredible time. Jonny and Luke were extremely helpful and easy to communicate with from the point of enquiry to the night itself. The entire team at Brixton Jamm provided a great service and contributed to the evening being what it was. Thank you to everyone who was working on the night. Drinks were all reasonably priced too. I would recommend to anyone wanting to throw a private party or promotional event to reach out to the Brixton Jamm team.

Paid for tickets for an event here and they oversold the tickets by a mile. Couldn't even get into the room where the event was because it was so busy. Also the cloakroom kept opening and closing every 30 seconds. In the middle of storm Eunice as well so everyone had coats. If you have sold a certain amount of tickets you'd think they'd have enough capacity for everyone's belongings. Also the queue for the bar was more of a huge bundle that took half an hour to navigate so only ended up having one drink the whole evening. I understand that places are understaffed but this is a clear indication of overselling.

We hosted our 'festival' themed summer party for 220 people at Brixton Jamm and was blown away by just how amazing the venue is. Great staff who made the event run very smoothly on the day. Brixton Jamm went way above our expectations, providing door staff, cloakroom staff, great bar staff, security, and run by 2 managers on the day, all of whom were very attentive and wanted to ensure we had the best day. The venue looked amazing, just recently being redecorated and with a fully retractable roof so come rain or shine the party can continue. Food was great too, we went for a mix of Caribbean and Mediterranean food, which was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, the feedback from my staff has been this was the best event yet. Thank you Brixton Jamm - I would fully recommend you to anyone looking to host a party.

We went to the reggae brunch beach party and even though the venue is decent, the service is not. QR codes were on the table to order food and drink and we were left waiting for our food for almost 2 hours - whenever we spoke to staff to ask for help, we were simply told that they were really busy and to ask somebody else. After finally speaking to a senior member of staff, we got our food but this had passed the 2 hour point. The bottomless rum punch hour was pointless because you had to constantly go up to one bar (even though there was 3) and the line was absolutely ridiculous so we spent most of the hour queuing rather than actually enjoying our drinks. Would not recommend!

I paid an early birds ticket for around 20 pounds and they shout down the concert 45 minutes earlier. What a shame!

Great club / bar / venue for a light night out or a full on rave. Multi cultural in every sense and just a good night out.

Good venue, went to see drag bingo. But out of the way from the main station but staff were nice so it made up for it. Only minus point was that the show had barely finished and the staff were packing the tables away and put the lights on. Felt a bit like we were kicked out.

What a great place to set up night life events for young adults with special needs and learning difficulties. The staff were warm and friendly and so many happy faces. My autistic son had a great night. Need more of these. Thank you.

We visited the spot cause we were looking online for nice clubs nearby as we came for a vacation in london. We went on a Day where there was a dragshow as well in another hall. The club itself was quite empty untill the dragshow was done and most people came to dance. It was not clear for us if there was any food served. The service of the people letting us in was very "unpleasant". Do not empty your pockets yourself and do not bring any small snack or candybar if you are entering the club. U will "look suspicious" The crowd is queer, barely mixed raced. toilets clean. no smoking inside. smoking outside and vaping outside allowed. there are heaters on the terrace. music is mostly quite disco and housemusic, a bit of odlies barely any house classics but a real vibe. The lighting is fine, not much effects to it which makes it pleasing for the eye. The drinks at the bar are basic and "oke" priced. Tequila is well served.

Awful night. First night out since the birth of my daughter almost one year ago, extremely anxious to leave her. Arrived at the Jamm and the security were extremely aggressive with their tone and attitude - totally unfriendly defo not keeping people safe. Did not help with the anxiety I was already feeling. I purchased multiple tickets online a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday with friends. I had paid for a sitter, people had traveled from over london to join (ALSO PAYING FOR SITTERS) I asked if I could meet my friend at Brixton tube station however it was strictly no re entry policy. HOWEVER, after some time, I saw people coming and going out the front to smoke, my partner asked why they were allowed re-entry, the security told him they are smoking. So when I queried that it was okay for people to leave the venue to smoke drugs, but absolutely not okay to go meet a woman walking through Brixton on her own… after making this enquiry, the delivery of security from them changed and got even worse! The jamm was EMPTY still at 11pm. No sign of artists performing. Only DJ’s playing half full room. Eventually when the artists arrived on stage to said empty room, the bar’s taps then did not work and no draft beers could be purchased. The glass bottled beer was being sold though… bit dangerous no? Considering the effort the security were making to make everyone’s night miserable Such a shame. Total double standards. I felt discriminated against by your hired thugs. Myself and my partner were absolutely being targeted by them due to our appearance and questioning the re entry policy. My partner was even told he wasn’t allowed to be served at the bar, he said why, the bar women told him ‘why do you think you are not allowed to be served?’ My partner told her he had no idea, she said it was ridiculous and served him regardless.. Overall, waste of time money and energy. I would have had more fun waiting for a delayed train.

When I was there, there was some weird guy with white hair playing modern versions of old classical music. I enjoyed it a lot but I think he could've had more success if he was born 200 years earlier.

Great venue with a festival vibe. Perfect for a sunny Saturday in London. Surprised to have read the bad reviews as the staff were lovely, the food was tasty and vibe was sweet. Will definitely come back!

Such a cool and summery venue! It's good to have some cool DJ's and unique events for all! Love the beach area :)

We booked a 6:30-11 at brixton Jamm. The service was absolutely fantastic from the get go. The experience was made even more memorable by Conor. We paid for a bench with a view and after arriving it was very enjoyable however it didn’t suffice our expectations. I spoke to Conor and he could not have been more hospitable and hospitable. He was the best person I have spoken to in a pub in my life. So helpful, so nice, just generally, an extremely helpful guy. We will come back here just because of Conor.

Went to a reggae brunch, the “rum punch” was horrendous. I dunno what rum they used but if it’s not Wray & his nephew just leave it alone. I didn’t like the look of the food (pattie, chicken that looked like chicken back) so didn’t bother eating it, but the little hut outside had nice chips.

Good spot to get your dance on. Not sure why people are going for brunch etc thats not what this place is about. Have a drink shake a leg and then go home. Peace.

Pre-covid we loved this place, but since then they're just out taking advantage of party goers . We booked a table on Halloween, which already required money deposited, and expected that we would've been able to join the party inside but when we got there, staff were very rude and we were told that we needed separate tickets and it was fully booked anyway... 2 years ago Halloween was free for good old time, now it's any chance to add a few extra quid.. its a shame.

Went to see the england and south africa rugby and was having a great time till around 9 when an awful woman was put behind the bar. When i asked for a drink, she said something and i couldnt hear, I asked her to repeat herself as the music was very loud and she responded " what can your kind not hear or something". I am a proud south african woman and it is clear she was referring to the colour of my skin. I was so upset my friends and i left immediately. Description of the woman: Very short brown hair, pixie cut, on the shorter side, was wearing a grey tshirt if i remember correctly. Working on the station closest to the exit. I will never return to this establishment as long as people like that are behind the bar.

My committee hired this venue for one of our fundraising events in late June and we were very pleased with the support from the venue and the quality of service we received. The venue were kind enough to design a happy hour from 9-10pm with student-friendly drinks deals! Furthermore, the venue team were very accommodating of the committee members by using QR codes to sell tickets at the door and checking students' wristbands as they came in. Also, the venue team were very helpful in helping the DJs set up their kit and leaving them space to leave their bags/equipment. Finally, the students absolutely loved the atmosphere of the venue and had a great night. We will definitely be working with Brixton Jamm in future.

Music/DJ was decent. However, the service at the bar is appalling. Waited for 30 minutes to get a drink. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand you're short staffed but clearly you need to rethink your setup.

Always have a great time here, and considering the current measures I think they’re smashing it. Staff were really friendly and our drinks came quickly even though it was fully booked. Can confirm the cauliflower bites are on point and an actual decent sized portion. So nice to be out again, thank you Brixton Jamm!

I booked a booth here for my birthday. I was originally worried because of the lack of response on email and terrible phone etiquette from the staff in relation to my booking so was not expecting much when arriving. Despite this, we were very pleasantly surprised, the staff were so accommodating and friendly, we were made to feel welcome and having the speakers in the booth made it feel like our own private party. We had an amazing time, food was great and drinks arrived relatively quickly! Great time had by all.

I was at the concert on 14 may. 2022. The concert was supposed to end at midnight, and at 10 p.m. the security forces kicked everyone out of the club, cutting the party off. It was not fair for people and artists, no one even told us what was the cause.

Such a vibe! One of my favourite summer spots. Great food and set up with awesome music & atmosphere. Doing what they can to keep bringing the party to the people during all this pandemic stuff going on! Ps. The jerk is a vibe 👏🏻

Thank you so much!! What a lovely experience … If you want something new rather than the typical pub scene and have some laughs with your mates, get on over here! See you there!

Venue is decent but staff (especially bouncers) are awful! Even if the line is short they make you queue for ages and then rudely threaten to refuse entry for absolutely no reason!

Went for Drag Bingo, it was so fun! I recommend if you want a good but early night out with friends. The food was also good. I want to also thank Amber Bright (Ticket & Operations Assistant) from Brixton Jamm. She went above and beyond to help us sort out a ticketing issue before the event. She was kind and accommodating.

Great experience- had a lot of time to enjoy the evening and free roam of whatever we wanted to paint. Plus, we met some lovely new friends whilst there. My only other suggestion would be a couple people to hand to help as there seemed to be a few of us and only one tutor to hand. All in all, friendly staff and a great night!

Attended a show here. First class security and ID checks, all swift and very professional. Good, clean venue with good bar staff, reasonable pricing and food on offer. Recommended for small shows and events

Had the best time at Drag Bingo on Saturday. All the Jamm staff were super friendly and got the whole room involved. Such a good idea for a group of friends or celebration,

Great night at the paint and vino, Rae was fantastic, good quality paints and canvases. Alcohol reasonable too. I would have liked the venue to specify this event would be held in a semi outdoor area and would have wrapped up better.

Me my friends had a really lovely bottomless brunch at Brixton jamm! It was £30 for a meal and a selection of five different bottomless drinks for 1.5 hours. There were lots of different food choices which all looked great. I had the waffle with fried chicken and syrup. It was delicious :) Our waitress Sarah was very helpful and friendly! She kept the drinks coming. We all thought it was really good value for money! Will definitely come back again

Very bad experience. £15 entrance fee so expected some good music/atmosphere. Unfortunately the two rooms were playing the same 10 song playlist all night. The event was also massively oversold making it nearly impossible to get a drink at the bar. Overall would not recommend.

Great social venue. Great food. Perfect for groups. Beautiful looking people attending. Love the fact that they give free water and have plenty bars to get drinks from.

Absolutely brilliant night! Booked out part of 'The Beach' out back for 50 people for my 30th. Jonny and the team were so so helpful at organising the event and super accomodating even when plans changed. Venue itself is also a great vibe with so many cool different areas. Best of evenings!!

Staff were so rude. Refused to serve pints when the taps were obviously running. Allowed under 18s in as it was surrounded by kids. Bouncers were even ruder than the staff, not a nice place to visit. The sound system was awful, just a cheap run place charging extortionate prices for alcohol, DONT COME HERE

It was so bad. The price you pay is not worth it for the food. You get the least portion. They rob you when you pay a good amount of money and it says drinks are included when it wasn't it was £10 extra. I would never recommend this place. Don't waste your time and money going here. Your better off at harvester at least your full when you go there.
