At first the atmosphere was nice until the show started. It was disgusting. I don’t even want to describe it, cause it was too graphic. I can only say that I’ll never go back there. The security guys are very rude and they choice whom to let back in, even if you’ll go to the toilet. It’s just wrong and horrible. Table cost £1K and by the stage £2K. Ridiculous. Would not recommend it!

If I can give this venue 0 stars I would, the security is completely Utterly incompetent and don’t follow proper SIA door supervisor handbook protocol. The security wouldn’t even allow me to take picture of their badge. Being a door Supervisor myself, when a customer ask from your badge you show it, this is why security’s badge should be on be visible at all times. The lady manger of that night seem racially motivated not to let me especially in after confronting her about the reasons why I can’t go in

Avoid !!!! Don't do it folks..👎. Read the reviews it's true. Save your money Queued up for a while, 30 mins, with two very attractive American ladies. You have this one blond club women, pops in and out and let's people in. Oh man it's terrible. The people she let in before us , mainly Blokes. oh dear. Blokes that wouldn't get served in a Witherspoon's. Bless. no chance of pulling, and probably never pulled a women ever. Lol. Anyway, 4 of us, 50 mins later. The blond women pops out and let's in the two girls we are with in only for to realise we are a group of 4, "oh I didn't know you was with these girls." She then says " We need girls in the club, if you want to come in you'll have to get a bottle priced at £650." Yeh Six hundred and fifty pounds...1 am. The blond didn't have a clue. I said if you need ladies, why have you let 20+ Male students in with bum fluff ?. No reply. So we pulled the two girls we were with out of the entrance queue and buggered off. I'm not accommodating that, treat my two ladies like objects. The bouncers are not interested, pretending to be part of this vibe, but only there to take a pay check, let's be honest. Looking at the reviews and Photo's, looks rubbish and uninviting anyways. Plenty of Proper banging clubs and venues away from this place... Trust me. I am a DJ. Anywhere you have to queue for over 10mins, where you can't take photos, and unattractive folks buy over priced drinks. Don't do it. Avoid.

My wife and I were out on a Friday evening, we didn't really know where we were going in Soho and we decided to join a queue for a club which didn't appear to have a name on the door. My wife is pregnant at the moment, but still wanted to experience a night out in Soho. Once in the club the door staff whisked us up to the VIP area and treated us like royalty, We were put into a VIP box buy the doormen.. I can honestly say I have never been to a place that I have been treated so well. It was surreal A huge thank you to all of the staff in the Box Theatre, you truly made our trip to Soho a memory that we will never forget. One to tell our twins when they are old enough. Thank you!!!

I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the woman at the door on Thursday the 19,th of October. She refused me entry for no reason even though I was willing to get a table. She lost the club alot of money . I was dressed smart and was not drunk or aggressive in any way. If I was the boss of this establishment I would be very angry that guests are bring turned away despite being willing to spend lots of money. It's a shsne because I was looking for a venue to have my birthday in and I certainly won't be using this one. I was turned away in the pouring rain in front of others and found this very humiliating. The woman at the door should be sacked .

If you want to have a fun night just divert from this place. The Door supervisors here are horrendous just please save yourself and steer clear. This is first and LAST time that i will be attending this. Falsely accused of something that wasn’t true and i think it was racially motivated they pick and choose what POC should be allowed in, its like they count how many POC should be allowed in like we are school kids. I cant stress on how much the DOOR SUPERVISORS WERE ACTING.. Lol just save yourself man.

Hard to get in, but an absolutely remarkable and memorable experience in a well-designed, cool place around beautiful people. 10/10 recommend to go here, if you have become bored of going to the same old night clubs over and over. This place will amaze you. But it needs some guts to enjoy this show.

What an experience! The show was amazing and the dancers so talented. Not for the faint hearted as flesh will be shown! Security and hosting staff were friendly and accommodating. A small venue which adds to its magic, lots of opportunities to bump into beautiful people

Listen to the reviews guys - queued for half hour, lady at the front (the blonde mentioned in all reviews) told us bar bill was £600 minimum or 1.5k table. There’s no criteria for getting in (unless you know them) it’s a lottery whether you’ll get in. Save your time and money and go elsewhere

I think this place is all kinds of special. I’ve been as a guest, I’ve hosted a table and I’ve been honoured enough to do a private hire there too. The staff I dealt with on the private hire side were exemplary. All of them and there were about 30 of them. When we wanted to make changes at the last minute they handled them effortlessly and with charm. The security were friendly, bus boys efficient, bar staff were brilliant, event manager Aisling unflappable, loo attendants were great… really everyone. As for the show. There is no show in London with such frequent changes in line up that more effort goes in to. The content, the lighting, the sound… you wouldn’t want for anything else. If you’re going at peak times and you’re not dressed right, your gang is moody, their attitude is off and you want to drink water at the bar you’re less likely to get an amazing warm welcome. But really all they want is to create the best atmosphere at night and that’s why they have a lot of regulars and keep a lot of staff long term, because it’s an amazing special and unique place in London.

BE CAREFULL!!!! My brother goes every single week, 2 or even 3 times, the spend a lot of money and the make the club popular even tho is not secure at all!! HE GOT STOLEN THE BAG FROM THE CLOAK ROOM AND NOBODY ANSWERED FOR IT!!!!! The manager was there and did not help in anything also the only one in the was the security guy SO IT WAS MORE THAN OBVIOUS THE THEY TOOK IT! DONT GET CONFIDENT FOR THE FACT THE IS A NICE CLUB, DON'T LEAVE YOUR STUFF IN THERE NEVER!!!!!

A lot my party and belongings on the night and the staff couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Walked me around the club until I found my party and helped me charge my phone. Loved the show and the atmosphere!

Crowded and noisy:) the average age is 18-24 and the intellectual vibe as well. Consider that if you are looking for a place to have a nice chat this is not the one. The sound system was not the best considering drum and base and more base heavy genres.

The girl ( although could have been a man ) not sure with reddish hair and baggy blue jacket who decides who gets in and out on a Saturday night is hilarious- high off her face, red hair with most of her teeth missing.. kept repeating to our guests, reservation or guest list or are you just chancing to get in- this place used to be cool about 8 years ago... but now the clientele they let in are ugly and trash... trust me avoid - just on the girl who decides if you get in or not... that should be enough to put you off upon attempted entry..

The guys inside are extremely nice. i have a physical disability and as soon as i needed help the staff walked me to their office and helped me with a smile on their face. seems obvious but never happened in any other clubs in london. Very genuine and nice people

The vibes: immaculate. The drinks: free on the guestlist. The music: poppin' off. The door staff: moody but gorgeous. The dancers: inspiringly amazing. The show performers: eye-poppingly entertaining. The lighting: intense. The decor: fabulous. The Box: iykyk.

Didnt let us in because we did not have a reservation. So if you are tourist and try to have a good night and party dont go this place. I repeat take a another place and wait in line and try to get in. This is for the guys who trying to party and you are for two of you!

It costs a lot of money to look this cheap. I was hoping that this club, which purports to be subversive, would be a fun night out. What an error. There isn’t a lot going on inside. The ‘regulars’, E-list rappers and table-service incels, were generally pretty embarrassing. Security were unpleasant and incompetent. Friendly bar-staff were a mildly redeeming feature.

I give one star because zero is not possible. It is believed to be the best club in London when inside there are only low quality people and music, not to mention the "manager" a disrespectful and rude girl who seems to be there to show herself rather than work. I would never go into this place again even if they paid me. Choose other

If you’re looking for nightlife out of the usual clubs in London, this is the place for you. I went for the first time on Saturday and it was great. Shows performed through the night, great DJ, great vibe. p.s. no photos or videos allowed when you’re there…

Have been queuing for over one hour to be told, I can olny get in if I buy bottle of champain. People on front of me just got in no questions ask. Double standard, awful.

This is one of the craziest things I've ever experienced. The Box is definitely worth a visit, if you are in town. Atmosphere and the shows are unique. The moment you step into the club, you're in a new world with no inhibitions. Make sure you've a handful of money with you to pipe up your night a little bit more.

Took almost an hour to try and get our group in, despite us having a booking and us all arriving together before doors opened. We gave up and went elsewhere which was equally dire. Soho nightlife is sh!t.

I Would give zero stars if I could. Very unorganised, As a very well connected manager in the entertainment industry who is currently touring with a known artist I will not be recommending this to anyone. The rest of our group was let into the venue but however security would not let myself (guy) and partner (Girl) in. The security were all on power trips and would not listen to anything I was trying to converse with them they were extremely rude. After finally getting into the reception area and dropping our coats off the security on the stairs would not let us through to the entertainment section, he said we needed a stamp but no one was around to even give out the stamps we stood there for 30 minutes inside by ourselves and the bouncer letting many girls up stairs WITHOUT STAMPS ON THEIR HANDS but paid no attention to us. In the end we ended up leaving and managed to ring the rest of our group to also leave in protest leaving the venue loosing money on drinks. As a touring manager I do not expect this from a venue like this unsatisfied with the whole night, what a waste of time, I will be making this aware to other tour managers coming through the U.K. to no accept an offer for their artist if approached by this venue or team. I would recommend people to disregard other ratings on this venue more than 3 stars as they were probably paid or work/worked for the venue this is so that the overall rating stays high when googled. Obviously we did not manage to see the entertainment but the process we went through was enough to give this venue a low rating. Please note this is not my account.

I want to thank Ella from security. My 19 year old daughter had her drink drugged and Ella was a rockstar. She wouldn't leave her side and made sure she got in an uber. I was worried sick, but she communicated with me throughout and calmed me - I was panicked and live abroad. Thank you Ella from the bottom of my heart.

Everything is perfect in this night club, I can not find anything that is not 5 stars. Music, drinks, atmosphere, personal and of course the fantastic dancers. Luxury environment in the center of london. I recommend it to everyone but know that it is not a cheap place.

I feel sorry for the people standing, as the space is quite small. The shows might me a lot for freshies but you do get used to it (especially cause the acts rarely change) We usually get a table, which I do recommend, starting at 1k xx

Brilliant night out with a private hire - but the return of lost items is difficult, you’ll find that getting even a reply is Christmas miracle.

What the hell was that! What an amazing spot. Quick shout out to Rico, Felipe, and Fabian! Friendliest bartenders I’ve met in London. Made us feel really welcome. Another shoutout to the bouncers and the entrance staff that make you feel super cool walking in. The show was bonkers, Went to see Ashlee and Richard and they crushed it, the host was killer, all the acts were super fun and diverse. I even met a friend. My significant other and I loved the night and it was only a Thursday. The security staff was really helpful and friendly. The music was also amazing so a last shoutout to the DJs Well done guys!

Something to do only one time. Funny but also Expensive! Be very very careful about the tip, they asked it us twice with no reason considering the overpriced menu items.

Visited The Box twice and I must say that show was very creative and out of this world. It’s all about having good time there and definitely recommend to take table if budget allows you. Certainly worth to visit at least once.

There is no other institution like this in the whole world, the people, the vibe, the talent, it’s the best venue I have ever been to in my whole life and I will never stop supporting it. If you get the chance to go, do not turn it down, it will be a night to remember

Avoid this place unless you want to pay 2k for a table. Four of us arrived before they opened and were second in line. The door girl let everyone in but us (they had all been there before and knew her you could tell it was promoters with their groups) then she asked if we had a reservation and proceeded to tell us they were full and couldn’t let us in , but that they had two tables available if we wanted to pay 2k or $1000 to go stand at the bar. I worked in nightlife for years in LA, and you never have to pay to stand at the bar . Also, if you have two tables still free you aren’t full. She was trying to pocket our money by charging us to go to the bar. I have many friends that have been here and they were not made to pay to go to the bar. Unless you are down to get hustled to pay 1-2k avoid this spot.

A blonde rude girl was standing at the door letting everyone in and stopped our group and said if you want to come in you have to get a table for 2.5k for 5 of us like come on never in my life did any club try charge that anywhere. We were the first in the que the place was empty so disappointing because she was trying to rip us off and obviously pocket the money for her and the bouncers. Whoever owns this place needs to fire that horrible rude blonde girl giving her that much power to stand at a door and rip people of there money. Very bad service and definitely would not recommend.

Avoid this club at all costs, any club in Mayfair is preferable. The young woman with the bad teeth at the door is extremely rude, entitled and has no manners or respect for anyone. After making us wait for two hours in the cold I finally agreed to pay 500£ for me and a girl (who is a high fashion model by profession btw and was dressed for the occasion so clearly she fits the “image” of any club) just to stand at the bar. Which is shocking. I’m certain this is their marketing strategy. If any of the owners are reading this; guys, you’re a mid-tier club that plays recycled playlists from 2016 in Soho, you’re not Berghain. I asked for drinks worth 500£ and they decided to charge me an extra service fee which should normally be discretionary without even letting me know. I simply saw the extra amount on the POS and told the barman I had no intention of paying for the service fee , he got upset, called security and they kicked me out. Disgusting behaviour, to these people you are a walking wallet.
