Ideally situated outside London Bridge Station by the riverbank side. With coffee shops, pop up stalls and retail shops. Nice place to sit down with friends and catching up. Spectacular views at night especially this Christmas season. Highly recommended to visit.

Hay's Galleria is a beautiful spot at walking distance from the tower bridge. There's plenty of restaurants to pick from surrounded by beautiful lights. The decorations are really nice and are worth a visit while you are in the area. There's a couple food trucks in the outside as well which could be useful for a quick snack if you are hungry.

We visit here every year during winter to see their Christmas decorations and lighting. And we love their Christmas tree which gives us a very joyful and colourful holiday season vibe.

Walking along the Thames for a while, this is a nice place to take a rest in. It is spacious, cozy and not crowded at all. There’re also few restaurants inside the galleria, so you can have something to eat and drink.

The Navigators by David Kemp, a wonderful moving work of art that few tourists know about. We found a pirate ship that paddles automatically in the galleria at a key point in the Thames harbor! It was an unforgettable place to visit.

We stumbled across this place one evening whilst walking up the South Bank. Even in October, there was a wonderful festive feel that drew us in. Ordering drinks was different. Sit at a table, scan the QR code, choose from the menu that appears on your phone and pay via your phone. The staff then bring your order to your table. No queuing - brilliant!

An almost hidden galleria opposite London bridge station, more than just a cut through to get to visit HMS Belfast, it is worth a visit in it's own right, the bronze steam punk water powered ship is always a delight to see, the galleria has many good places to eat and drink, I of course head to one of my favourite Costa coffee shops, always a warm welcome from the manager who will stop and chat and make it more than just another coffee shop, once rested you can marvel at the magnificent HMS Belfast, if you get in the right position you can get a photo of the ship with a backdrop of either the tower of London or tower bridge, follow the embankment east, past the London assembly building, the gherkin shaped building and onto shad Thames, a little known place in the shadow of tower bridge, if you retrace your steps, you pass back through Hays galleria and turn left and visit borough market and Pass through to the embankment on that side, there beholds a replica of the golden hind, the globe theatre and the Tate modern gallery, cross the millennium bridge and you can visit Saint Paul's cathedral.and head up to the museum of London.

Hays On The River is a wonderful venue. The staff member Becks is a great member of staff and an amazing young person. She goes beyond to help out if she can. {She definitely did for us!} The decorations are so uplifting, keeping spirits up whatever the weather! I'll be back!

Very impressive, huge central court on the ground floor, with a beautiful modern sculpture of an air ship in a water fountain. Several restaurants and food stands surround the central area, including Costa coffee. While the service there was fine and the hot chocolate was delicious, the one restroom available for customers, and maybe staff?? was absolutely filthy. The location of the Galleria is outstanding, very close to the enormous London Bridge station, several famous landmarks and is at this time surrounded by Gillie and Marc animal sculptures.

This beautiful arcade currently boasts a pop-up cocktail bar serving a variety of craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails, which are situated amongst the various shops. This has always been a popular location 2 minutes from London Bridge Station and situated on the South Bank opposite HMS Belfast. A must visit spot to take in the sights

A charming spot where retail meets history. With an architectural design that retains its old-world charm while housing an array of modern shops, it's an iconic location that's worth a visit. The beautiful glass roof adds to the sense of grandness, and the assortment of eateries satiate all tastebuds. Also, the fascinating kinetic sculpture adds a magical touch. However, it can get quite busy during peak hours.

Hays Galleria is a historic building located in the London Bridge area of London, England. It was originally a warehouse and wharf, built in the 1850s by the merchant Alexander Hay. The building was used to store and transport goods such as tea, coffee, and spices from all over the world. During its early years, Hays Galleria played a crucial role in the bustling trade industry of London. The warehouse was connected to the Thames River, allowing ships to unload their cargo directly into the building. The goods were then transported through the galleria using a system of hoists and cranes. In the late 20th century, the warehouse fell into disuse and was left abandoned. However, in the 1980s, it was redeveloped into a mixed-use complex. The original structure was preserved, and the galleria was transformed into a covered shopping arcade with various shops, restaurants, and offices. At Christmas, Hays Galleria becomes a festive destination. The galleria is beautifully decorated with lights, Christmas trees, and festive ornaments, creating a magical atmosphere for visitors. There are often Christmas markets held within the arcade, offering a variety of unique gifts, crafts, and delicious food and drinks. Additionally, Hays Galleria hosts various seasonal events and activities during the Christmas period. These may include live music performances, carol singing, and even visits from Santa Claus himself. The galleria becomes a popular spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy the holiday spirit and participate in festive celebrations. Overall, Hays Galleria’s brief history showcases its transformation from a bustling trade hub to a vibrant shopping arcade. During Christmas, it becomes a charming destination to experience the joy and merriment of the holiday season. @hays.galleria #christmas #places #london #haysgalleria

There was a 'Summer River' event held for a period when we visited yesterday with food/drink pop-ups which made the area lively. I'd imagine this would be very crowded if not for the pandemic. The covered bar area in the middle made for a perfect break from a walk along the river.

I love this place. It forms a part of our usual walks along the Thames path. We like to buy something to drink from Costa, and relax for a bit. The kids love running around the iron ship artwork installed in the middle. We use the boots branch here to click and collect necessities.

Drinks at the autumnal pop-up Hay's On The River bar. No queue, self-seated as we weren't assigned a table. The decor was beautiful and there were overhead patio heaters too.

Situated on the South Bank of the River Thames, once a wharf for unloading food, it has been covered to house shops, food outlets and restaurants with lovely outside seating areas. It's nice to see mini replica of the pirate ship here. Interesting.

As we arrived in Côte, we were entertained by our view over the Thames in the middle of a thunderstorm from our upstairs room. We're a fair sized group of retirees, seated at an upstairs large table, served speedily and efficiently by a very patient and polite waiter. There was a great selection from which to choose, we were spoilt for choice. Good old fashioned 'fish pie' for me, with prawns, haddock and salmon in a creamy cheesy potato topping. Around £14, well worth it. None of us could refuse a simple strawberry Pavlova with crème fraîche, irresistible. We pored over the calories given for every dish, apart from the prix fixé menu, for some unknown reason ! On this list the two courses cost £16.95, three are £20.95, only cards are accepted for payment, with a 10% gratuity added to the bill. I asked our waiter if they receive this money. He assured me that they do, and thanked me for asking. There was a fuss free method of ordering our meals, all done from his hand held i-pad.

Lovely galleria at London Bridge hidden away from the bustle of the station. I go there as a place to meet friends after work. It has saved my life a couple of times when my train has been delayed and I've need a place with good WiFi to make a work call.

You can order food and drinks from your bench and the different food places in the galleria bring the food to you. Alternatively you could go and buy your drinks from the bar. Great place if you’re in a group as it can host a large group easily on one bench . You’re also away from wind and rain.

Hay's Galleria is a little oasis of calm and peace just off the river. The summer seating and floral arrangement makes it a treat to watch the river and life flow past whilst enjoying the cooling breeze rising from the river. P.S. Please do be mindful of your belongings even as you relax as thieves operate in the area.

The vibe at Christmas time is prodigious. With pubs, cafe, dessert places all hustling and bustling with eats, drinks, music and a merry time…. Really enjoyed the evening here after a walk from the London Bridge towards the Millennium Bridge - this spot was a great break in that walk.

Feels very grand when you walk in. Few places to sit and have a drink or some food. There is an interesting looking ship in the middle but didnt see any sign to say what it is about? Great views of the Thames outside and located right opposite London Bridge Station.
