Seven Dials is a central focal point to hundreds of a little boutiques, clothes stores, food stalls, restaurants and pubs. It is called seven Dials due to the seven roads that lead off from the central round about which has a tall statue with sun dials on the top. The Christmas lights in particular that circles the seven Dials is very iconic. Drivers of many cars passing through, late at night will stop, get out and take photographs and selfies with the lights circling around them.

Well, If you expect to find cheaper food options here, you will be disappointed, but for the UK standard I can't say I expected it. A nice place, not that many options as expected, but warm and cozy and with place for everyone to sit and have their meal, so it's okay.

Been here for the first time and was quite amazed. A lot of choice for food and drinks, standard prices and a lot of life. Keep in mind you might struggle in finding a seat. So if you wish to go to any of the restaura there, I’d suggest booking in advance! There are also some fast food ti eat while standing, I loved the Crème Brûlée cone!

A cute food court. I wouldn't say that it's a must place to come and eat. There are better places around the elevator over there is very slow so if you're with accessibility needs or with the stroller I wouldn't recommend coming over there.

A lovely place for gathering either day or night time. This is the actual road that cars can drive through the circle so, you'd better be careful during the walk. Isn't it lovely during Christmas?

Prebooked a table. The area was spacious, you use an app to order your food which came out very quickly! The selection of stalls were great for a group of friends to choose from and was perfect especially with the cold weather inside, its lovely to stay indoors and be warm and enjoy the food. Personal favourite was yum buns!

Just lived this market with all the different food stalls. We spent time at the cheese place which had a conveyor, sushi style from which you take little plates of cheese, what an amazing concept. Will definitely return next time in London

Had great fun here, nice meal at the Hawksmoor. Best steak I've ever eaten and bone marrow is amazing! Was a nice place for a walk around. The whipped place cheesecake was delightful!

Love the vibe - cosy and dynamic... but extremely busy. Varied and wonderful selection of cuisines. I was really looking forward to trying out a couple of their food stands (the Indian ones especially) - we came out of our way just to eat here, however it was so busy we weren't able to find seats to sit down and enjoy our meal... which meant we had to go elsewhere to eat. Cool place, its a shame their seating is as limited as it is.

A great assortment of shops and curious cafes. The lanes come abuzz on weekends. Many spots to get a quick bite, a cup of coffee, or a refreshing drink. The alleys are worth a dekko.

One of my favourite places in London to wander. So many little lanes and boutique shops. Also quite a lot of places to eat. We love Neal’s Yard with its coloured houses and little Italian osteria. Other regular highlights include the London Design Centre for stationery and Stanford’s for maps

Fun summer sessions festival at 7 dials. Overall a great spot for summer strolls along its cobbled lanes. Monmouth street is a personal fav.

One of the prettiest places in London, especially in Christmas. And though it gets pretty touristy, it still has some quiet and differentiated shops, restaurants and cafés in its neighboring alleys. It is at its best when traffic is closet and the streets left only to pedestrians. Neat street markets on some days.

Festive cheer is in the air, lovely Christmas decorations are out but it is very busy with tourists. There is some great shops to visit while in the area as well as places to grab a bite, beware there will most likely be a wait as during the festive season it is busier than usual. Be sure to check out Neil’s yard while in the area as well as shops like Wander and Monmouth coffee

Great atmosphere and lots of choice. Was surprised that club Mexicana was vegan - the food tasted great (especially the 'short ribs'). It was also easy to order drinks to where you were within the building (either through a qr code on the table or staff walking round were taking orders). Great setup

Easy to find and short walk from Convent Garden. We only tried the Manty (dumplings) and they were good. Ask for the chili oil if u can take heat. It tasted so good. We were there on weekday and at opening time and there was a rush. I can't imagine how busy this place is on weekends. Choice of food was good but this is on a smaller scale compared to Borough and Camden Market

Loved the atmosphere. Great choice of food. Can't wait to go back and try all the other cuisines. Compared to other prices in London, it is also good value for money - without compromising.

So much choice you are spoilt. The smells and do nds are fantastic and there is so much to choose from it can be a difficult choice. We are at the Pick and Cheese place. Amazing! The prince way they pair the cheeses with random items is great. Who knew cheddar went with fudge? It's served on a conveyor belt like a well known sushi restaurant but with cheese. There is a wide selection and the crackers kept on coming. 10 out of 10

Food, food, and food again. It's a food hall, what do you expect ? I have tried two Taiwanese little pancakes , one with custard and one with red beans paste, were so delicious. So, don't forget to visit Wheelcake Island located on the Cucumber Alley.

Cozy food court in the heart of London. We were very satisfied with our choices: tacos from Los Gordos and the bites from Hash Hut (with truffle mayonnaise and parmesan). We missed some sweet choices (pancakes or waffles).

Seven Dials Market in Covent Garden is a culinary gem that seamlessly blends history with a modern gastronomic experience. Housed in a historic banana and cucumber warehouse, the market features a diverse array of food stalls, offering a tantalizing journey through global cuisines. The variety of culinary offerings is a standout feature, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. We found this place by chance while exploring this part of the city, the atmosphere was top and the food delicious, with a large variety to choose from. The only downside was that the place is really busy, we were there on a Thursday evening and we couldn't find a place to sit ( photo was taken in the afternoon the day after).

I was not impressed with the service, and I took 25 minutes to take the order .waitresses to busy chatting with her work friend and then she forgot to bring our drinks.what I can say about the manager ,after making a complaint, he took a side of his staff. We noticed bluewater restaurants worse than other restaurants

Never been up to covent garden or surrounding areas and seen it so empty . No cars , people or buses clogging up the roads . You can walk around and look without getting bumped , pushed or hassled . It's such a shame for all the businesses that are suffering but it's a once in a life time opportunity, make the most of it .

They did a v good job despite tier 2 lockdown restrictions. It felt safe. They spaced everyone out and all food and drinks were table service only. The food itself was delicious, also great beer on tap. I look forward to going back when restrictions ease again. My only negative is that the music was v loud so hard to hear each other speak.

I wish there were more dining experiences like this. You don't get this much variety and high quality options in traditional restaurants. We tried a little from every stand and left berry happy with our stay. Also worth noting this place handles COVID dining very well.

The Seven Dials has a garland suspended like a giant christmas wreath. Nice for a stroll. Cycling around here is tough. Cobbles, and a lot of potholes and patchwork repairs.

Edit: Dial Arch in Woolwich (not seven dials) 1 star for a helpful happy attentive male staff, but overall the manager and another female waitress was super rude. They ran out of food but then had attitude as we looked at the menu for the only few that was available.

Good part of Central London to experience the city's atmosphere. Although it's a relatively small area, there are quite a few points of interest. Smart boutiques, a small theatre, nearby cinemas and good access to Soho, Covent Garden and the West End have kept me using Seven Dials as a thoroughfare over the years.

  • 4/5 Ola S. 2 years ago on Google
We visited Seven Dials as part of a walking tour of the City. A famous location close by Shaftesbury avenue. It is famous as an intersection for seven roads and it has a statue in the centre of the intersection to mark this. A great photo opportunity as the statue has seven Sun Dials at its top. There are a number of retail outlets, restaurants, bars as well as the famous Seven Dials Indoor market located nearby. There are also a number of small Courtyard's too which are worth walking through as they house a number of eateries, bars and local businesses. The whole area is well worth a visit.

The only problem with this place is picking what delicious food to have from the traders. The place had a nice atmosphere to it with good background music. Wasn't too loud and we easily took our young daughter. Toilets were very clean. Will 100% be back on our next visit to London

Lovely Christmas lights, and an eclectic indoor market that has been converted into a Food Hall for independent traders. Very popular with a younger crowd, but very expensive. (£3.90 for a doughnut, £20 for a pizza!).

I actually loved this place for it's variety. My fave is Bong Bong's kitchen. Great food, friendly service...beer's a bit overpriced though. 5£ a bottle? Otherwise, good crowd, not too noisy, you can have fun or pick a quiet spot.

What a fabulous find! My first visit and I was blown away. A bit of an upmarket boxpark. I had the slow cooked beef tray from the barbecue. It tantalized my taste buds with the accompanying pickles and a nice slice of soft white bread. I also tried the slaw which did not disappoint. I had to go and give my thanks for such a lovely lunch. Well worth a try!

Great plus, lots of different eateries, nice and clean, great atmosphere, good to take the children - yet to visit of an evening but the daytime ticks lots of boxes. Only thing to be mindful of is that seating is limited during peak periods so time your visit/get strategic with nabbing seats and ordering at various counters (top tip - you can sit in the bookshop downstairs too - lots of people seem to think it's seperate so always worth checking there if seats are limited 👍)

Visited the Seven Dials whilst on a weekend trip to London. Highly recommended, great atmosphere and a great selection of food and drink. Personal favourites were Boolay and Wheel Cakes. Would definitely revisit.

I've been here a few times now and I thought of leaving a review. It is a nice place for any occassion, coming with friends, a date or even to come randomly without much preparation with some people. There are a lot of food and drinks options here, there is chicken, latin food, asian food, oriental food, etc. A couple of bars and coffee shops are located in seven dials market so it is great to come for a lot of options. Not to mention, there are many resturants and shops around the area making it a perfect place to come and have a walk around. Neil's Yard is also close by which is a cool yard that is colourful and there's wine shops around for a good summer escape.
