At sainsbburys, I’m 27 years old with a full beard and I don’t look young yet they asked me for ID to buy energy drinks in the morning after I purchase them actively here. There’s 6 people who serve me at night time. The manager is absolutely garbage and unprofessional. I haven’t been asked for Id since I was 20 for anything and it doesn’t make sense in the slightest. The manager has literally no qualities of being a manager and he was being difficult with what I offered to show him ID on my phone. Deep down he knew I was over the age of 25 but he felt as if had to support his colleagues decision and this rubbish manager couldn’t speak up and control the situation. absolutely disgusted. Teens purchase alcohol and cigarettes yet the least harmful thing to consume out of those would be energy drinks. I don’t understand, it has the highest requirement to obtain. Where’s the logic in this and when someone looks like they’re in that age bracket of 25, that should be more than enough to serve as how many other stores tend to abide by. Many photos of The O2 centre. Has escalators, elevator, book shop and a bunch of restaurants including gym and a cinema. At the lowest ground you can find a big sainsburys which also includes clothes and other random things to shop for. Amazing mini mall like experience. I come here a lot as I am a local resident and this would be my local store. The O2 centre also offers free wifi and the public toilets are a little small and tends to be shut majority of the time. Overall it’s not super large but it’s still a wonderful and pleasant experience to venture inside.

Gone downhill. Sad cinema. Most of the eateries on the top floor are closed. The fun kiosks are all empty. It has the air of decay about it .

Quite a basic shopping centre with a huge parking and all of the “necessary to exist as a human” shops and stores, such as Sainsbury’s and HomeDepot. There’s also more Amazon Lockers that I’ve seen in my life so far.

The O2 London boasts a stunning and spacious arena that can accommodate over 20,000 spectators. The seating arrangement ensures good visibility from most angles, and the acoustics are generally excellent, providing an immersive experience for live performances. The atmosphere during concerts is electric, with enthusiastic crowds creating an energetic vibe throughout the venue. It offers a wide range of facilities and amenities to enhance the overall experience for visitors. There are numerous food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and cafes, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. The venue also provides clean and well-maintained restroom facilities and ample seating areas outside the arena for relaxation. Situated in Greenwich, the O2 London enjoys a prime location along the banks of the River Thames. It is well-connected to the rest of London through various transportation options, including underground, bus, and boat services. The nearby O2 Arena tube station provides easy access to the venue. Additionally, the surrounding area features attractions like the Emirates Air Line cable car and the Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park, making it an excellent destination for a day out. It has gained a reputation for its efficient event management and staff professionalism. The security measures in place are robust, ensuring the safety and comfort of attendees. The venue's staff are generally helpful and friendly, offering assistance whenever needed. Overall, the O2 London is a world-class entertainment venue that consistently delivers memorable experiences for visitors. Its impressive lineup of concerts, coupled with excellent facilities and a vibrant atmosphere, make it a top choice for both locals and tourists looking to enjoy live music and entertainment in London.

There’s nothing really here? Not a handful of shops that are anchored by Aldi and Waterstones. PRO: - Waterstones - Aldi - Cinema CON: - There’s not too many establishment here - If you’re looking for an American type mall, you’re out of luck - A lot of wasted space SUMMARY: I do appreciate that there is an Aldi and Waterstones here but it’s not a big reason to go IN to the mall, sadly.

The centre has been really blighted in recent years by the double impact of Covid and online shopping. Its potential as a communal meeting place has never been easy to fulfil but now the spaces are even more empty. the number of eating and drinking places has dropped by 75% or more. It has never had a sufficient range of shops to be a one-stop shopping venue. It is still a welcome place to get out of the cold or rain. The extensive parking is great for evening cinemagoers or big grocery shoppers. Waterstones is Waterstones. The gym and pool still a major health asset for members. Despite Traffic planning under local authorites who've spent decades restricting road access to Finchley Road there is still excellent public transport access to the Centre.

Great mall with all the things you need plus gym and multiple restaurants, a studio/venue that you can hire for up to 80 people

Came to Sainsbury’s to pickup an item from Argos for Christmas I had ordered online. I came by bicycle, it was easy to find and good access getting into the store. The staff and layout were both good, I only visited the ground floor and Argos so cannot comment further. If you come by car I think you have to pay for parking, which would put me off, but understandable given location.

This used to be an amazing place to go out with bars, pub and many restaurant. Hardly anything is left, now it is basically just a walkway between car park and Aldi. Sad… :(

Very lack lustre local shopping centre which has little to attract a tourist or visitor other than the Vue cinema upstairs. Locals obviously use Aldi a and Sainsbury's but l have never seen such a poorly laid out bra ch. There is no logic to where anything is placed. Biscuits morph straight into sweets and chocolate without any definition between them. Signage is too small so a nightmare for visually impaired people. Aisles right in places too for wheelchair users with bad angling towards the self check outs. Hardly any staff to help either. I came out with salad items and tissues when l went in to see if there were any lacura creams. Very low stock. There's a branch of Waterstones and an Oliver Bonas in here too. I didn't venture inside either because l felt they would be as disappointing as Aldi. Swiss Cottage / Finchley roads character has radically changed over the last 15 or so years. It feels tatty a d neglected. Go and hang out in Camden or Notting Hill Gate instead. I didn't even take any pictures. That's quite a weird omission for me when lm out a d about.

Great place to relax and enjoy a coffee or go to the gym! I always enjoy the book store. But I also do most of my shopping at Sainsburys the staff there are so helpful and cheerful. You can get anything you need Argo's Habitat and TU clothes all in one store!! Then go to Starbucks for a coffee and if you have Young baby try the baby Gym!! The O2 also has a great cinema with a bar while you wait for your film to start. I also like the other shops that have popped up! It's a very relaxing place to go you should try it! And they also have different events on for families and Children it's a family place.

So nice a place to come and relax and do a spot of shopping. You have sainsbury here, large branch with lots of parking out back. Up to 2 hours free with a validated ticket with a shop over £10 at sainsbury or up to an hour with a validated ticket from Homemade thats all the way at the other end of the car park. There is a really nice Vue cinema here with a bar and Ben and Jerry on site. Waterstones for the latest books.

    1) It's a shame that so many shops and restaurants have closed down. 2) it would be nice if the shops that are in the left would close later so as users of other facilities can make use of them. Still a nice enough centre but nowhere near as exciting as when it first opened

There are a few shops in the centre like Waterstones book shop and a big Aldi store as well as a large Sainsbury's. There are also a few eating places there and coffee and cake shops. There is also a cinema there and a gym. Parking is very good as there is a large car park, although this is not free and transport links are good as it is very near Finchley Road tube station , plus there are several bus links as well

My trip to the O2 Mall was quite an experience, and sadly, not in a good way. I ventured there to catch a movie, but from the moment I arrived, it was clear that this mall was in a state of neglect. The first thing that struck me was the overall appearance. The mall looked tired and in desperate need of a facelift. The maintenance seemed lacking, with flickering lights and peeling paint in some areas, which immediately set a disappointing tone. Navigating the mall wasn't much better. Signage was confusing, making it a challenge to find my way around. It felt like a maze, and I ended up wandering aimlessly before finally locating the cinema. Once I reached the cinema, I hoped that at least the movie experience would redeem the visit. However, even there, I encountered issues. The seating was uncomfortable, and the sound quality left much to be desired. In summary, my trip to the O2 Mall was a letdown. It appeared to be poorly maintained, with a lack of attention to detail. While I went there to see a movie, the overall atmosphere and experience left much to be desired. It's safe to say I won't be returning anytime soon.

The O2 Centre is the best shopping centre that I have ever been to. It smells amazing up entry, security is wonderful, the dinner facilities are clean, and the entertainment is spectacular.

  • 3/5 Peter Rocque M. 1 year ago on Google
I like the Aldi and Vue cinema here, but the O2 Centre is generally in decline. There aren’t too many restaurant options. The lifts and escalators are usually out of service, so accessibility is really poor. The centre toilets aren’t the cleanest, so you’re better off using customer toilets in Sainsbury’s or in any other businesses within the centre.

  • 3/5 Sawyerrs' H. 1 year ago on Google
A very small shopping centre. A little empty tbh. The signage could be improved. The upstairs seems so scanty except for the cinema. Aldi on the ground floor and one other place seem to be the main attraction. I recommend if you aren't a fan of shopping centres in the true meaning of the word.

I remember a lively shopping outlet with lots of eateries, variety , unfortunately a long time ago . The shops are just seeing out their leases & moving on now . Flats being built there in 2yrs.

  • 2/5 Simon K. 1 year ago on Google
Few things I enjoy going there is Nando's, Aldi, and Sainsbury. Not to mention the Waterstone bookshop. But many times there are same issues never been properly dealt with. 1. Smelly toilet 2. Broken escalator 3. Always on service call (lift) These basic things never been sorted.

  • 2/5 Jeff B. 1 year ago on Google
Frustrating because the escalator has been out of service for many weeks! No sign of them fixing this any time soon. If you need access to car park or sainsbury, you'll need to take some sketch stairs or queue for the lift.

  • 5/5 Vincent H. 1 year ago on Google
Although my visit was brief, from what I saw in the way of shops and eateries, this is a good place to take a pitstop and enjoy the many stores at ones disposal. As the O2 is not a large shopping mall, it makes for a quieter location to relax and enjoy the delightful stores without being bumped and buffeted around. It's worth popping in to take a peek in the shops and have a light bite to eat.

  • 3/5 Aishah S. 1 year ago on Google
Oh my gosh, this place is grim. Most of the shops/ restaurants are closed or closing down. Looked like a ghost town to be honest but if you just want to go to Sainsbury's, Aldi or the cinema then you're good to go, don't expect it to be easy to spend a couple of hours.

Pay for parking in on-site carpark. Everything is as expected. Cinema is not the best they also do some things a little different from other Vue's. There are no recliner chairs, and the floor is sticky/crunchy. Starbucks is great though, and a massive waterstones.

So much to do here from food to shopping great deals as well as indoor sky diving, trampoline parks and game bars for social gatherings the list goes on! Not just for the concerts

  • 4/5 keith j. 1 year ago on Google
Habitat is no longer there; it's an ALDI now, in direct competition with a much larger Sainsbury at the bottom of the escalator. Brave location.

a conglomerate of dpt. stores eg. Aldi, sainsbury, café shops, clothing and water stones book store. an enormous structure, it also includes a health club with gym, swimming pool and spa. there is a catholic Sunday church. Notice also that many of its floors & to let spaces now stand empty post covid graveyards of business gone bust.

I went to the O2 Centre in search of a Sainsbury's Superstore that I knew was somewhere around there. The Sainsbury's Superstore was tucked away down stairs at the back of the O2 Centre. My main interest was in a well stocked meat counter but unfortunately there was not such a counter in the store. So I made do with a big bar of chocolate 🍫 instead.

Love the shops here but lately was a bit sad as most of them were closed. The bookstore inside is amazing and all ages can enjoy it equally. Easy access to some good food places, you can do some quick grocery shopping and toilets are always clean and welcoming. Hopefully the end of lock down will bring back the energy of the place.

Maybe it was the day I visited but certainly had that post-apocalyptic cavernous yet empty shopping mall feel about it. Definitely shows its age and sure could do with a revamp. One would think there are a lot of shops but poorly designed and limited establishments within

The escalators to the second floor have been broken for months. One of the major anchor stores in the place is closed. A third place inside, a cinema has a mouse problem so severe, I felt moved to write to environmental health, The local council have applied for planning permission to knock this down, and given how unloved it is starting to feel, I wouldn’t be surprised if they got the permission they seek.

Really enjoyed the day, morning into the afternoon. Unfortunately, some of the well known shops have closed down; making things look a little sparse. Somewhere to go that is sheltered and warm and light environment. We went to watch a film and the staff at the Vue were very polite and professional. Toilets were tidy and organised in terms of distancing and cleanliness. Good day.

Did not specifically wander around as popped into Argos to collect an item ordered online. Sainsbury's was quite busy though. Noticed quite a few shops are shut due to COVID or permanently closed. Apart from that brisk businesses as plenty of shoppers in Center. Car park was almost full. Only one entrance barrier was working though causing delays.

I can't believe they want to shut the O2 Centre! This place is so conveniently located. It has a cinema, restaurants, shops and sainsbury. The bus stop is right next to it and Finchley Road tube station just a 2 minutes walk. Nice place for dinner and movie night out

Loved visiting this place. There's a great soho coffee place as you walk in (see earlier review). Also, you will find the most amazing Waterstones book shop to your left as you walk in. Wow! I've never visited such an awesome store. It's enormous and a place where you could quite easily lose yourself as you peruse the vast selection of books on display. Definitely worth a visit.

I love the 02 centre, i remember when it was built i spent alot of time there through work, shopping, family time with my son. After covid most of the shops have remained closed and now its just a shell of itself so sad. With a few shops open. Now there are proposal for the centre to be turn down to make flats. Sad.

  • 3/5 Liam H. 2 years ago on Google
So much potential with the space, but let down by lack of management and a poor selection of stores. The O2 centre is a go-to for takeaway food and dining in. The only reason I would travel here is for the Sainsbury’s tucked away at the rear end of the building and the Vue cinema. The ground floor features a nice coffee shop in the centre, surrounded by a few stores of little interest to myself. The second floor contains a gym, fitness centre, and more places to eat. There are plans to renovate the O2 Centre in the near future, so I look forward to the improvements.

Such a shame that the O2 Centre, Sainsbury's, the cinema, swimming pool and all the numerous amenities are to be demolished. It was only constructed in 1988. A tragic loss of a much-valued asset.

Visited Habitat as we had recently bought a sofa which was not as we had expected it to be when we received it. The manager in this store is very friendly and helpful. Sainsbury, who own Habitat offered us a replacement, refund or exchange on the sofa. Unfortunately the sofa seat cushions were not as described or same as we had sat on in the shop display model. They said they had written description wrong and couldn't give us same seat cushions as ones we had sat on!! Bad mis-representation of the sofa. Not happy customers. We opted for a reduction in sofa cost to avoid having to look for another sofa. But still unsatisfied with result as seat cushions not comfortable.

Still great especially that. Everyone loves it! Clean, great employees and you may find local shops (independent and you need to shops there). Hampstead close and the food?! Be aware; you may not leave! Note: there are so many parks that you didn't know. You may realise that being a little lost in London! You may find beautiful parks, being lost in the point. Remember, you cannot be lost because YOU. ARE. IN. LONDON!!!
