Disabled vulnerable banned I feel I need to give this company 1 star because I am disabled and vulnerable have brain injury from. A brain tumour . I have cognitive impairment ,cerebellar ataxia . Poor mobility and have been banned from the whole glades shopping centre in Bromley Kent England including Car parks and all facilities . All because I made 2 complaints and escalated And about the new guest services manager that started last march. They tried to sweep it under the rug . I’m a vulnerable person and have attended this shopping centre for 18 years 3/5 times a week I have never had any problems . I have never been in trouble with the police or security etc . I’m riddled with arthritis and have cognitive impairment and poor mobility issues etc and this is how I have been treated . I tried to make peace on 6th Jan and had 2 police officers witness On 17th January I audio recorded the guest services manager trying to provoke me to argue with her . But I did not engage .there are 3 companies involved . Jll . Churchill services/amulet . I’m being victimised And being portrayed as an aggressive troublemaker and it’s not on . This review is regarding jll in England . The company manage the glades shopping centre and the director is mark haynes as far as I’m aware this is the right company. I have sent more information to trust pilot please feel free to contact me to discuss. I have attached all the evidence to trust pilot I asked for a subject access request and any cctv footage to show any unreasonable behaviour . They have only provided me with evidence of cvtv that shows no unreasonable behaviour yet they are saying I’ve made other allegations but provided no evidence and are saying I need to wait another month when I got the ban letter January the 26th 2024 Date of experience: 26 January 2024

Massive indoor shopping centre in Bromley. It’s on 3 levels and has plenty of shops, coffee places and dining. The only downside to the place is the parking situation. The onsite parking is atrocious. The multi-story car park is like a maze and the spaces are tiny.

Returned here today after a long time. It looks and feels very different from what I can remember. Some quality shops no longer exist in there, and seems to have been replaced with shops of a lower quality with limited choice of goods. Maybe I am a little nostalgic, but it's nothing like the Bromley I once knew.

Good clean shopping center located in the middle of Bromley High Street. Plenty of on-site parking available in various attached multistory car parks. Plenty of popular and chain clothing stores inside as well as places to eat. Security and police regularly pass through. Expect to find it extremely busy on Saturdays.

I like going to Bromley Shopping Centre and especially the Glades. But you also have good local shops around that area as well. Now would be a good time to visit because like Christmas there is a mini fare ground for the Easter holidays.

First time going in over a year. All the shops are open, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas 🎄 A good selection of shops. They have a festive market/stalls outside too.

Great shopping centre with a wide variety of high street and occasional independent retailers. Access within the shopping centre can by lift, electric escalator as well as manual steps. You're not going to meet the crowds of London here which makes this a more enjoyable and gentle shopping experience. The different entrances and exits to The Glades means it is easy to get out onto the High Street, into Queen's Garden's and The Pavilion leisure centre - there is a swimming pool here with 2 gentle flumes and a wave machine along with gym equipment and exercise class rooms too. The shopping centre is clean and tidy. There is parking available for shoppers - I cannot comment on parking set-up and facilities as I always walk to The Glades The shopping centre is superbly well served by multiple bus routes and fast train service to Bromley South as the closes station, followed by neighbouring Shortlands Station.

Ample parking above a modern mall. The whole mall gives the impression of being very clean and well looked after. The shops are able to cover most needs and the places to eat and drink make for a pleasant experience.

Massive complex of shops. Plenty of open air eats. Shops of multiple selections. Phone shops, game stores. Top brand clothing stores. Pet shops, jewellery shops. Has all that u may seek. Toilets, lifes and escalators. Plenty of open spaces for relaxing. Not very crowded. Plenty of transport links. Situated in the heart of Bromley high street. Guaranteed a look. will definitely find something I might be interested in.

Large shopping centre, with a wide variety of shops over mostly two floors, and a large parking garage attached. It’s fairly well lit with tall ceilings, so feels pretty open and airy in most places. There are several places to eat, and additional shopping right outside on high street.

The Glades used to be great. Again, used to, but now it's half-emptied thanks to extortionate rents only perpetuated (they were borderline extortionate before the Pandemic) by the cost-of-living crisis. If a super-chain like Starbucks won't pay your rent, then something is wrong. The management need to re-evaluate their approach or begin thinking of other avenues of enticing businesses - other than *yet another* coffee/food chain - to open up.

This is a mall that is architecturally wonderful and also beautiful. It is accessible by all. And shopping friendly. Good for photo background, tour, it leafs to so many relaxing point/places. There are 0laces for children to enjoy themselves. There toilets are clean and we'll taking care of. It is a centralised place in Bromley through which it is easy for you to access any part of the north and south Bromley. Accessible to bus stops

One bit of advice I will give is that if you are driving, make sure you take note of where you have parked as the car park here can be a little bit confusing. Shopping wise....I came....I saw....and I got what I needed 😀. Decent array of shops

Nice shopping mall. Has all the brands. Some of the budget brands like decathlon are located outside the shopping centre so make sure to checkout the whole area, not just the shopping centre. It can get quite crowded on Saturdays and Sundays.

Used to be a decent place to shop. Now full of hipster stores and Covid. Parking charges are to much and should be free when shopping in the centre. To many people in an enclosed space. Lush stinks. Sushi bar stinks. Not enough toilets. It's slightly better inside the Glades than in the High Street as Security keep the beggars away and the out of area yobs who choose to hang out in Bromley as they have ruined their own towns.

This shopping centre is deceivingly huge. I had only previously visited the front of it thinking it went back as far as I could see. Today I ventured further inside and I was amazed when I realised that it went back a lot further. It has a very good variety of shops (major ones plus little boutique ones) as well as restaurants, everything you need in one location. You could spend hours here. It also has a lot of natural light via the numerous spacious skylight windows.

  • 5/5 Christopher J. 1 year ago on Google
As shopping centres go, this one is significantly better than many others. Nice, clean toilets. Reasonable variety of shops, cafés and restaurants but, like everywhere else, too many empty ones. Debenhams much missed. Good luck to the Glades in seeking a new tenant for this large empty site.

This is a beautiful mall. The prices are cheaper than Toronto for some discounted items. The make up and cloth are awesome n good quality. You can get shirt, tee, dress, shirt and skirt for 5 pound. My mom bought 3 set of bras for 8 pound at 40% off. The same bras is $30-50 each in Toronto. We got good buys. Will visit next time I am in UK.

Very nice indoor shopping complex. It has a large car park attached to it, has a mixture of different shops and stores over several floors. It has glass lifts and escalators to allow easy access to all levels. There are also many places to eat and drink. It is very well maintained throughout.

A big shopping mall full of all sorts. It will be a waste of time to just go on window shopping without the intention to buy anything. There is multilevel car park, rest rooms, restaurants, post office, banks round the corner, designers to Primark etc. If you intend to visit the glades, give yourself enough time....

Great new Nike store has opened....too old for Nike myself but it is bright, welcoming and looks great! Lots of well known shops and a few surprises. Lovely sushi bar, cupcake bar and some new restaurants. Looks much cleaner and more well looked after than ten years ago. A pleasant shopping experience to complement shops on the adjacent High Street.

Very vibey, loved the outdoor shops in the courtyard. The mall inside is huge and offers a variety of shops. Toilets seem to be very limited though. Just silly to have to walk such long distances to find a toilet. Not convenient at all, hence only 4 stars.

  • 4/5 Steven s. 9 months ago on Google
It's open. No food at the moment. The queues to get into the shops are ether very small or non-existent. The new norm is in full effect. After two and half years, everything is back to normal. 2023 financial restraints have impacted some of the units that have closed down. Bromely the glades is still a shopping centre where you can purchase what you need. All the main brands are still present. There are enough eateries to keep you going with a wide range from fried chicken to restaurant standard cuisine.

Appears to be a thriving clean affluent and modern shopping centre, with prestigious retailers including an Apple store. Well worth a days visit with plenty of casual dining options to breakup your shopping experience across the remaining town centre. A good alternative to Bluewater despite the lack of any department stores.

It's OK, I would have said better than Croydon despite being smaller (M&S here is huge for example). It benefits from having nearby shops. Parking charges tend to be on the steep side, and it doesn't have quite the same leisure feel as Bluewater - this is plain old shopping, not a day out.

Great visit to The Glades today. Wheelchair access is great, lots of available lifts (although these can be very slow and busy). A brilliant selection of shops and loads of places to grab a bite to eat or sit down dining. Even during a busy time at half term, I still managed to navigate well.

This place is your average shopping centre. In terms of stores it has what most other small shopping centres have. There is a fairly large car park here also but if you don't drive Glades has a plethora of buses that arrive from all parts of south east London that stop right outside the entrance.

  • 5/5 Pears A. 2 years ago on Google
Decent enough schooling centre. Probably one of if not the best south of the river. Only place local I could find a Zara. Decent size, with nearby tight but reasonably priced multi story car park. Got selection of shops. Can't complain.

What's to say.... It's a shopping centre. Good amount of space to get around. Lots of escalators. Toilets are always clean. Lots of food places to choose from and the kids love the yearly Meet Santa event. Parking is ok and public transport gets you there easily. And the centre is on the main high street offering a lot of shops and eateries.

I walk through here to go to the dentist every 6 months or so. It doesn't have the appeal it used to have as there are few shops that sell things I want and need nowadays. Are shopping malls just for young people? Older people seem to use the cafes and restaurants more than most of the shops.

Love it there. Plenty of shops and good cafes . COSTA is my go to cafe. M&S next . In the half term there was a full size batman mobile and Batman himself. The children were enthralled. At Christmas there is always a Santa grotto and beautiful decorations with lit little tunnels for the children. Bus stops are very near. They also have an Apple 🍎 shop which is very well attended too.

A nice enough shopping centre. Good toilets. Delighted to see a busy bookshop. Some high end goods - Oliver Bonas, Hotel Chocolat. Expensive. Other than that, a lot of stuff that no one really needs. Easy access via public transport (thumbs up to that and leave the car at home). Once outside, Christmas Market and Mulled Wine - lovely.

The glades is a clean shopping centre with good transport links. The only downside is that it always seems a little empty. Using some of the unoccupied stores for things like local art, however, is a stroke of genius.
