One of my new favourite places! They have a wide range of restaurants and bars. Also, the retail stores available on site have great variety. There is no shortage of seatings within the compound which makes it great for both shopping or just strolling out. The bathrooms for both men and women is all in one room but is well divided, they even have a gender neutral cubicle which amazed me. The entire compound was kept clean to a high standard. Love this place!

This development full of restaurants, shops, and coffee places is a great place to hang out. It’s just a few minutes walk from the St Pancras train station and it’s a great place to hang out after work or after a long day sightseeing. The restaurants are always full but we’ve never had an issue finding a table. It’s a great place for a stroll. We came here at all times of the day and on different days and it was always people walking around. There’s a very nice fountain installation where kids enjoy running through. There’s lots of seating areas, some as table and chairs and some in the built in environment, some have beautiful views towards the canal. Great utilization of space, amazing indoor outdoor feel in the restaurants. The shopping is as you imagine: lots of clothing and some home furnishings stores. There are a few coffee shops and roasters and lots of very good restaurants and places to drink. Highly recommend coming here!

Coal Drops Yard is an amazing vibrant area just up from King’s Cross Station. It’s described in Google as a shopping centre but it is so much more. Every time we visit it seems to have developed even more - beautiful open spaces, quirky independent shops alongside more established companies sit alongside some amazing places to eat and drink. There’s the canal, apartments built using the structures of the old gas towers-and last but not least a cute little icecream van. I still think that it is a bit of a hidden gem and suspect that lots of visitors to London have no idea that it exists. Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful place in the heart of the city center. An old coal drops yard converted into eateries, brand shops and much more. Huge open areas with multiple eating and drinking options. An open air theatre is also part of it along the river. Must visit for all the tourists.

My review goes to this wonderful retrofit architecture design by the famous architect, Thomas Heatherwick. The architecture is not just beautiful aesthetically but it is celebrated with activities at the public space designed. There are various details throughout the building as well. This place is not to be missed out in the visit list for architects and architectural students.

Today we were at Coal Drops Yard at Kings Cross with the St Martin's Art College slap bang in the middle of it. It a fantastic place to spend a day or an afternoon. One of the most amazing things here by the canal and a short walk from Camden market are the apartments that have been created within old gasometers. The architecture in this revamped area is worthy of awards. The Google Building is just round the corner, along with one of Europe's foremost scientific collaboration buildings The Francis Crick institute. Stylish, funky and very cool, this is an excellent place to spend time, with some excellent shopping. The Google Building is here too and you can get directly from the street here onto Eurostar trains. How many train stations can you think of where the area in the immediate vicinity of two great stations is such a desirable place to be? It was a brilliant afternoon and evening spent here. We'll certainly be visiting again.

Another place in King's Cross to visit or go shopping. Cafes, eateries, burgers, beers, open-air market (at lower stable market) you name it, they have it all.

This is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. There was a market around the lower ground level, with loads of different stalls. From food retailers to plant stalls. Something for everyone. It's also a great place for families as there is a water park for kids to play in. And I saw loads of people enjoying picnics along the canal. The coffee shops can get busy in the mornings, so do be prepared to wait.

Very chill place. A blend of history, nature, food, shops, and office buildings. At the end of the main building, by the river, there is a lot of history summarized along the walls. During pride month, they have some beautiful installations. It was nice to walk by the river and look at the houseboats.

Lots of food and drink options, plenty of shops and all just minutes away from London kings cross, this is a great upgrade to the area. There are plenty of restaurant options with almost every option you could want, although booking at most of these restaurants do result in a £20 fee per person cancelled if you cancel with less than a days notice, however booking is a must as most places may not have the capacity to take walk-ins especially during peak hours.

The areas shows what good renovation/restoration looks like. The architecture is really beautiful. There is a good range of eateries. Fir me the shops are a bit too high end and over priced. It’s nice to browse though.

Lovely place, wine list good variety but pub logic and pub food/nibbles. Wine suitable nibbles would have made major difference. Plus orders on the table is minor add on for place operation but major benefit to the customer happiness.

Superb area of restaurants and bars around relaxing canals and restored buildings, as well as modern new buildings. We had a tasty meal at Caravan ( I think it's named ) and then sat on a seating area watching life on the canal. Having lived around St Pancras for many years, it's good to enjoy a superb regeneration of an erstwhile wasteland.

Me and my friend visited here, because there is normally a market on, but it was empty. Lots of empty spaces, but has so much potential, I am hoping as Spring/Summer approaches there are more shops and or the market back on daily. From what I was told and what I had read, it was like visiting two different places. I suspect it's worth visiting in the warmer months, which I will do and then update my review.

New favourite pace in london. With its swooping roofs and old brickwork, large open space and contemporary stores, with great food and drink. It literally has it all - oh I forgot the dancing fountains and giant open air cinema. Literally my got in place when I’m off to London now.

Quaint hidden gem. My kinda retail shops as well as cafe and restaurants. Though a cloudy day when I visited, I love the simplicity af the yard. Great shops and dining from Kings Cross Station walk to the yard, if u don't fancy eating there. Big screen on the canal for Wimbledon too. Very chill vibe all round.👍👍

The historical buildings which form the core of the iconic Coal Drops Yard were built in the 1850s to transfer coal that had arrived here from the north of England by rail, to then be distributed throughout London on horse and cart. All of the coal would be unloaded from the rail transporters on a higher level of the old buildings & dropped into hoppers below, hence the name. Not too long after with the huge reduction in coal usage these brick warehouses fell into disuse, though over the years they have served as film sets and even hosted some of UK’s biggest parties! Fully restored and unveiled to the public in 2018 the design combines the bold re-use of the historic buildings (two of them Grade II listed) with high-quality contemporary architecture. All blended together with a very striking piece of modern architecture that forms a curving roof-like structure over most of the old buildings. This blend of old and new really works amazingly well, and creates a quirky destination for shoppers and foodies alike. Today the yard provides entertainment, shopping, food and drink. It is perfect for visiting during fine weather for alfresco dining and socialising. It is very unique for the area as there is no spot that is similar in design or vibe for that matter. Well worth visiting for those world class bars and restaurants! Some awesome facts about the yard : 250,000+ Victorian bricks reclaimed and reused 100,000 Square ft of shops, restaurants and bars 8m is the tallest bespoke glass unit in the new upper level

We went to the inspiring David Hockney audio visual presentation at the newly opened Lightroom and, on the way, discovered this amazing regenerated area. Well worth a visit and don't miss the London Wildlife Trust's Camley Street Natural Park on the other side of the canal.

First time at this new place at the back of King's Cross Station. Lots of shops and food stalls. Samsung is on the 1st floor and has a modern and cool store. Went to collect my new phone and the service was great. Worth a visit. Amazing store.

Coal Drops Yard is another great example of turning old, disused buildings into something really lovely that can be used by many people. The old warehouses are filled with posh shops, but I think the real woman here are the large that make it easy to enjoy an afternoon by the canals with a bite to eat or some drinks. There is a giant, new/very clean and nice Waitrose right there, so if you just want to grab some snacks and keep things simple, you have that option to. Many of the shops are nice, subtle, not low end if you are trying to economize. Lots of smaller vendors are here too- you can grab a juice or a smoothie, an ice cream, or a something sweet.
