Valley park has a good section of shops all in one place. From sports shops to furnishings if you are hungry a few restaurants are around. plenty of parking and if you need the toilet, a few of the shops have them in the store. Can get very busy from time to time. Worth visit.

The Valley Park retail park is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a wide range of shopping options and ample parking space. There is something for everyone, whether you want to catch a movie, indulge in delicious food or play games. Tenpin, a game centre in Valley Park, was particularly impressive, offering an array of games and exciting activities such as karaoke, bowling, and much more. This place is perfect for both adults and children, as there is always something to keep you entertained. Personally, I had a blast bowling, which was a first for me, and I highly recommend visiting Valley Park for a memorable experience.

I'm a big fan of DIY shops. I think they have a good selection here and when we need a few things it's the valley park store we use more than others. Staff are always helpful too.

I hate visiting here only because the traffic is often awful due to all the other retail outlets, apart from that, it's fine. My advice is go early, or go late, but avoid the weekend like the plague.

IKEA is always great for a bargain and some meatballs. Sadly they seem to have limited their food options tho, both in the restaurant and the food shop. They used to have more variety. My favourite products were no longer available 😔 why do places always change the good things?

Was after 0.1-0.3 bar kitchen tap. Taps weren’t well labelled and assistant I found who was able and willing to help me wasn’t very knowledgeable about taps but he tried. Really think the taps should be more clearly labelled. Funnily ended up either first tap I saw and liked but it took time to find out minimum water pressure. Plus two prices one on sample tap and another on boxes. Took photo of sample tap price so I paid that one at till plus registered for B&Q card got 10% off first time using and got email so got another £5 off £50+ spend so £105 tap for £98 woo hoo and it rocks (second shop at B&Q).

We went bowling at Tenpin, which is a great place to take youngsters in the holidays. They provide alternative entertainment if the kids don't want to bowl. They also provide food and drinks for both young and old. My only criticism was the noise volume. This couldn't be helped because I went on a bank holiday and the place was crowded. All in all we had a lovely time

Easy to arrive from Sutton. Taking the 280 bus and then the tram. I only visited Ikea that are all the same in the world.

Would I recommend this retail store to you 🤔 maybe 50% Why you may ask yes it does have plenty of what you're looking for.. Apart from customers services which is very very poor every you contact inside are far too busy 😢 doing other things Apart from helping or advising or instructing you where you can find what you are looking for. Checking out services is not good at all..unless you have a lot of time please avoid as much as possible..

My son and he's girlfriend took me there because I needed some wood from B&Q. We had lunch in pizza express, also did some shopping in dunelm and boots and the sports shop. So had a good days shopping, got everything I wanted.

It was easy to get to and parking space available, Visited Nike store, boots & Dunelm and it was a breeze. All went well , not much to say as I had no problem at all. Always go there somehow...

Valley Park is a very nice place for family. I don't have to worry about paying for parking. We could do with more places to eat out,and more places of interest. The VUE cinema is very nice and comfortable and relaxing chair .

Love the place and always come here to grab a quick bite. The cinnamon rolls sold on the shop floor were raw on the underside... I would advise everyone to turn over the rolls and check ...the dough is raw...white underneath and around ...not enough time.in the oven and not even turned over so that they can cook. I bought 3 of them ...one at a time and all were the same. I called the manager and all I was told was ...thats the way we cook it...she wouldn't even hear me and was kind of cross that I had the audacity to say such a thing. I was with a friend who deals in food and he also said that bother were raw but ...the attitude was ...how dare you say such a thing. Even the guy selling food downstairs was quite rude too. Looks like we don't really have a say in the matter as customers. Quite sad! I love cinnamon buns and its quite sad that they are so raw... Everyone please check or your tummies will rumble later on. God bless

Had a great experience in B&Q. We had several paints mixed, by a very competent and plesent young man, I couldn't see all of his badge.... Eugene I think EU was all I could see "I was gonna ask by we were so involved with the order I gave him, i forgot" defiantly 5 star service. Thank you

Bigger shop and you get loads of options on any item. Bigger outside garden stuff available. Large car park. Didn't had to interact much with staff. I see they have design studios. Would recommend.

  • 4/5 Paul S. 1 year ago on Google
A large store with reasonable quantities of stock (which in the past hasn't always corresponded with the on line information) What let's the store down is the general attitude of some of the staff and the check out delays due to the lack of manpower despite many staff members hanging around without the apparent purpose Dartford store I have always found better but the distance to travel from the Purley area cannot be justified unless only they have an essential item

Great food and a warm welcome from the attentive staff. Reasonable prices considering it's only a few meters from the station. Will return for sure.

Great help from bnq staff. However the wall cabinet we wanted did not have a mirror on the door and the feed back on mirrored doors is not good. Still returns should not be a problem.....

Good place for shopping.bit crowded on weekends. Variety of shops ,including ikea , b&q JD etc. Plenty of parking. If you are desperate for a coffee , try Ikea coffee, which is far better than any coffee shops in this lot.

IKEA. Just have to visit the restaurant when we go. Typically I gravitate to the classic Swedish meatballs. Always great but plenty of other choices, all excellent value for money. Really helpful staff.

Wonderful selection of world foods. Beautiful quality food especially the curries and the deserts seem endless! Well worth a visit but I suggest that you starve yourself well in advance 😊

Customer service are very rude and borderline aggressive. On two separate occasions its been totally awful. Almost seems like they don't want to be there. One of the staff that works at the customer service desk and the other one at the tradepoint desk. The managers on the other hand are very good at their job.

  • 5/5 Natinho L. 11 months ago on Google
Worth visiting. The retail park has an enormous car park, mainly because of the Ikea store on one end, and B&Q on the other. On the middle you will find lots of restaurants, a Cinema, clothes shops and plenty of entertainment. Good to bring the kids along for a day out. Just remember where you parked the car. You see lots of people walking about totally lost. The Croydon Tram stop is a 5 min walk. It's been renovated and more trams on the line, what is a bonus. Remember to bring reusable shopping bags, you never leave without buying something.

Biggest IKEA store I've ever visited! Wow oh wow, you cannot run out of option in here. Took me 1h40 to go from the entrance till the exit, and I wasn't stopping to see and check everything I wanted to!!! I was pretty much just walking through the store. Amazing 👏

Plenty of parking and well laid out car park. Easy to navigate. Can get busy round the cinema end so leave time for parking if you're planning to see a film!

We went to the Vue- it has really been done up well. It was a mother and daughter day. We watched Missing. Such a great movie.

Loads of parking with entertainment, shopping and food options available. It can get mega busy during 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays, but especially at weekends. Most places to shop here are open until around 20:00-21:00 (check beforehand), so would definitely recommend a later shopping hour.

  • 4/5 Elijah A. 9 months ago on Google
A good experience, generally some DIY shopping both at Ikea and B&Q. A new roadside recently opened just before the flyover from the purely way direction, makes access a lot smother.

Nil empty shops. Bustling with activities. Free ample car parking available on site. Good selection of shopping, dining and leisure activities. Clean and modern. Sandwiched within an industrial estate and a bit out of town.

Attended the Chinese global buffet which I'm pleased to say had improved a lot since my last visit. Not my first choice of restaurant if I'm honest but ok once in a while worst thing is they chuck you out 120mins after you arrive reguardless of if you have been waiting for other to arrive, so eat quickly The £26 per head charge is far from cheap, seems rather expensive to me as no way I could £26 worth of take-out from a shop

It's actually not bad there, most people obviously come for the IKEA to get there bit of flat packed, but you've also got a .Bella Italia .Burger King .Creams cafe .Frankie & Benny's .Nandoes .Jrc global buffet .Mcdonalds .Pizza Express .Boots .B&Q .DFS .Dreams .Dunelm . Fabb furniture .Tapi carpets & Floors .JD sports .Sports Direct .Tenpin Bowling .The gym .Vue Cinema

I came for paint testers and colour matching. The testers in some areas were limited and not well stocked or labelled. Finding staff to assist, both on this occasion and others is difficult though once found they are usually quite knowledgeable and helpful.

Decent enough. Didn't get what I needed, lots of bare shelves. Lots of things not on display, must have a raging theft issue, as they don't trust you with a £20 drill apparently! Amazed still in business! Only one till operator, classic poor service

I entered the store, previously purchased wooden floor and I needed door grippers so I found a lovely man in the flooring department and commandeered him, he was great, he didn't think my choice matched, doing it by eye, he came and we chose another each and went back to the floor and one matched, he reacted as I did, absolutely great, fantastic service, at the till I hate doing it myself as I was led to a customer pretend you work for the store, no the lady did it for me and so I walked away feeling I had received TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, intangible but when great service staff exist and they do at this store.

This is a great retail park with a range of different places to visit. I came here to shop in Boots, IKEA and B&Q in particular. However, there is also a gym here, quite a few restaurants, furniture stores and an arcade centre. Got to say I miss the old version of JRC Global eat as much. Has changed since the pandemic hit.

Parking signage is misleading. Looks like you have to pay even though it's a retail park car parking area. Signs said you could receive a penalty if you left the area. We wanted to visit several of the outlets including B&Q and IKEA which were "away" from the area we were parked in. We didn't have to pay which was explained by THE grumpiest parking attendant. Not sure why he was there which is why we queried paying!!! Safe to say we enjoyed our visit doing loads of shopping secure in the knowledge our car was parked correctly.

As any other hardware store. Has anything that you might need, the staff are very helpful and friendly. We have been going several times through the last couple of months and have purchased from paint to vynil flooring to plant pots. They have a good variety of plants in the underground floor. Blinds, lights, lawn mower, bird houses, cables, kitchens, etc

  • 5/5 Steve G. 2 years ago on Google
Easily accessed with a wide range of stores with a lot of major stores represented. The parking is very good. The only downside is access to the park is via one small road which can get congested at peak times.

  • 3/5 Michelle W. 2 years ago on Google
Car park being redesigned so less cars can park, even though at peak times the car park is overflowing. Valley park has 4 food establishments plus a couple of shops and a bowling alley. Stay well clear when ikea has a sale, absolute mayhem.

  • 4/5 Jenni D. 2 years ago on Google
Easy to access, my only gripe is it doesn't have cycle parking at many of the stores. Individual businesses need to address this , for staff as well as customers. Cycle parking at Sainsburys and 4 racks at IKEA.

  • 4/5 Derek Lewis K. 1 year ago on Google
With a variety of shops, restaurants a bowling alley and a multi screen cinema, Valley Park even boasts of having ts own IKEA store. Valley Park is a place with something for everybody. Adults, children, young people as well as families can shop, relax and get entertained in a place buzzing with activity and won't cost you an arm and a leg. Birthdays, parties and other celebrations are common place in the restaurants and groups organising bowling is very normal. Experience it for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

Good verities of products and as for customer service, it is lagging behind, everyone seems to busy with their own work and are unable to help you when you have an inquiry. They rather direct you to the location but you ate left to decide to select the product when you have very little knowledge about what you want. Sorry.

  • 3/5 Rupert M. 1 year ago on Google
Good solid retail park, right next to the large Ikea store. Shopping, cinema, all you can eat buffet and several food chains, plus a bowling ally. A great refresh is underway, and its looking good. Just one or two big stores and away you go to a big draw to the area.

I visited the jd sports to collect my online order. Most staff are ok but obviously a few not so nice and lazy ones. The collection place which was being served by 2 staff , unfortunately was taking forever at that time a nice member of staff who was not even serving behind the tills at that time helped me get my order quickly .

  • 4/5 Mpumelelo M. 1 year ago on Google
The pace works and is pleasant. Going today - a week day - helps with the congestion! Driving is easy and accessible. Walking in I’d rather dodgy because the centre is not geared for walkers.

  • 1/5 M J. 1 year ago on Google
B&Q completely messed up my order/delivery. Stayed home, but no call to confirm time. Called customer services at 5pm who said items (trellis panels etc) were on truck for delivery between 4-6pm, so items should arrive. Nothing by 7pm. Re-ordered items for in-store collection the next day as had workman booked - went to collect and they messed that up too. Try harder B&Q 😒
