Lovelly mall with few shops incliding book and stationary shops, waitrose and cafes with outdoor seating... the building itself has such character!!! Love it! Especially the towers in front or at the back .... across street is the library...

Wealchair friendly and close to library and parking ..... just walk through and your on the main high street, and this honestfor such a nice are really is desperately lacking some interesting shops. The only shop that I find worth poping into is the second had furnature store just for a nose about and boots. If I could choose the shops to put in hear it would be ...... a mini tk max, some little home boutique shops, An ann summers, a local butcher a local green grosers maybe a kids/teens clothing store and a defenetly a duhelm..as there is nothing hear. Ufortunately there's just about 5 different places to drink..... boring and not worth entertaining unless your parched. I'd rather just drive down to brent cross to be frank.

Popped around to the weekend Market. Wonderful selection of fresh fruits, veg., homemade breads and cakes, wide selection of cheeses, fresh coffee, fishmonger, to highlight a few delights. First visit for my dog, who couldn't decide which sniff to follow 😀

Nice and bright, easy to walk around but like many shopping centres, it is in decline with quite a few unoccupied units.

Boring boring, boring.so much they can do with this place. Government incentives for entertainment , reduction in rates to encourage competitive products. Encourage thai food , Mediterranean food etc. Something different.

Charming place for shopping has all the usual convinces . Also has the best homemade cake shop stand located in Spires at the entrance of Waitros worth the trip , just can't remember the name .

Wonderful place to visit to pass any free hours that you may have. Lovely place, they have recently opened a poundland there too, great place for a coffee and friendly get together.

Quite a good selection of stores including Waitrose and savers. Was shooed out one morning though by a rude guard saying I could not walk through, because they were conducting a fire alarm test. On the whole a pleasant little arcade which boasts a seating area for the two central coffee shops.

Only went there to use Waitrose because Sainsbury's does not stock my French butter anymore. The service received by Joshua, the other white young man supervising self help tills and the curly haired young guy you brought my my butter was excellent and above and beyond service...I congratulate their parents on raising well brought-up young men. And they are the best ambassadors of this store/brand. I detest margarine... this butter us even better than Le Président (I'm French so I know) £3.50 each

Nice shopping centre. Great if you like book shops as there is a Waterstones. Also WH Smith. Beautiful shop selling crystals, salt lamps, jewellery etc. Poundland has just opened and is huge. A few coffee shops too along with a few clothes shops.

They need to install cameras in the parking area as it is tight and someone banged our car. The shopping center is quite small but it's local and has a lovely atmosphere.

It is good for food options and charity shops. All the basic services (pharmacy, post office, banks...) are present and efficient.

Lots of shop closures. A bit dismal to walk around, not the best shopping centre around. There is a good Waitrose and couple of coffee shops.

  • 3/5 Yasmina S. 1 year ago on Google
There are shops but not as many as other shopping centres, and I would say the high street has better places to eat. Inside the shopping centre it is sheltered and there is a Primark and Costa and Waitrose and a few other shops but nothing really that will keep you occupied for hours like other shopping centres.

Great little shopping centre in high barnet. I go here a lot for some of my weekly shop and to browse some of the clothing shops. There are also a growing number of good food and drink places. It's never busy, and there is ample parking on site or locally.

Nice shopping centre with smaller shops and lots of small cafes and patisseries, a beautiful church and a small pond at the end of the shopping area.😍👍

  • 4/5 Martin O. 11 months ago on Google
Well maintained little shopping centre. Few empty shops and the usual high street chain shops. Cheapish independent coffee shop/cafe. Centre toilets reasonably maintained and a courtyard for sitting out.

  • 3/5 James M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice little shopping centre, shame a lot of the shops have closed but it seems to be picking up. Botanikka is nice, and there's a nice little Waterstones. And Pinks florists are AMAZING

Spacious and traditional. Good range of businesses: from restaurant to a bookshop, clothing shop and supermarket, a spacious Waitrose branch. A must visit !

  • 1/5 Elly P. 10 months ago on Google
Not enough variety of shops. No where for kids clothes, apart from small inadequate section in H&M. No shoe shops. Nothing of interest and no basic high street shopping. Needs more to attract a mixture of shoppers.

  • 4/5 Shelby B. 8 months ago on Google
Clean, well laid out space with a good variety. A cart/scooter for those less able to walk around the stores would be a good addition

  • 5/5 pragnya p. 2 years ago on Google
It's lovely place to hang out with friends for a Costa Coffee or for Gelato ice creams or just shop in Waitrose or H&M or Card Factory or The works or Savers and many more budget friendly shops

  • 1/5 Polly L. 2 years ago on Google
Not a nice experience...Very few people wearing masks in any shops. No one wearing masks in The Spires, very scary, as if nothing was wrong with the world. No decent shops, apart from The Turkish food market. I live in Arkley, don't plan on returning to HB any time soon..👎👎

Good place to pick up essentials. Great gym, coffee shops and waitress. The only downfall is the NCP parking machines. Sometimes they work sometimes they try to charge you £1000 for one hour. I have seen elderly people get stressed out over these machines. It's not okay that this happens all of the time. NCP need to get their act together.

Lots of coffee shops, Waitrose and a good card shop. Seems a bit run down to me. Could do with a bit of a make over.

Good place, many different shops, I like to do my eyebrows by girls from Beauty salon.

  • 1/5 Judith S. 2 years ago on Google
The Spires would be a whole lot better if they would get on top of the parking problem there. Every NCP parking meter in the Spires out of order today. Parking there is expensive, many people cannot manage the machines, particularly the elderly. Many older visitors do not have smart phones, so they cannot load the parking App. I don't want to load it. Last time I shop in Barnet with my car. It's my nearest place to shop, but I am heartily sick of the parking expense and difficulties.

I've lived in Barnet for nearly 10 years and it's sad how many shops have gone under in the spires but I'm grateful for the big h&m they have there - hopefully bigger companies might help keep the spires amazing

Potentially Great shopping precinct but stores closing makes it look a bit sad.... Barnet Council need to invest and help independent businesses to open up to revitalise this potential gem

Very Dull and tired looking area, takes you back in time. People are not very friendly. Clean place. Car Park Meters are always causing problem and un approachable management for the parking. I had to walk around for 30 minutes to find a machine which works and got charged extra. 2nd time it took three payments from my card. Really mis managed place.

Really enjoyed our visit to the spires Costa coffee and barnet town when we had an appointment at Hadley Wood hosp. Some towns are grotty, tacky and have no character but the spires have blended originality wuthmodern. Beautiful flowers stall too. Parked easily near library.

Well kept 'open' spaces with a good variety of shops. It was lovely to hear a busker singing outside the High Road entrance today: lovely atmosphere.

Gone down the pan in recent year's very sad and dull. Parking machines NEVER WORK properly you have to walk around looking for one that does.

The Spires is a great place with a good variety of little cafe's & shops. I recommend this gem of a place! We had coffee & cake in the Coffee Bean in the Spires, it's a lovely cafe & the service was quick & the people working there were polite. The Spires is still a lovely, busy hub of activity. There's a community feel about it and a new cafe has opened on the High Street called Gails, it's a great cafe!

Great little shopping centre... Needs a few more shops to make it worth a visit.. Restaurants look nice tho

  • 3/5 Dan D. 1 year ago on Google
It's a shopping centre, it has spires. What it's doesn't have is many shops, what it does has is plenty of empty units. If you enjoy looking at empty shops, the Spires is the place to go.
