Most pointless shopping centre. Simply waste of time to go here… Instead go to Bromley Shopping Centre.

Lifeless shopping centre, filled with money laundering shops. They should’ve went ahead and knocked it down to build them high rise apartments, but them old bags 👵🏻 were complaining too much so the redevelopment couldn’t go ahead. Real shame! I’m pretty sure this shopping centre is only used for the public toilet and as a short cut.

It's OK but as soon as you enter the small mall, it's lifeless. There's no atmosphere and you think it's all derelict at first. It needs life and atmosphere put in as it's dull. Even some background music would help. However, the few shops that are inside and out are good. Plenty of discount stores to be found too. Bring this place to life please!!

Quite a lot of vacant units but a nice small shopping centre. Selection of shops are a little limited.

More of a glorified alleyway full of shops than an actual shopping center, but there is a modern cinema, poundland, and various cafes in the outer section, with smaller businesses and a Wilkinsons on the inside

A medium sized shopping mall which is connected to a leasure centre and outside there is the high street with further shops and a outdoor promenade with further shops. However this shopping mall is due to close for a regeneration of the High Street meaning that there is only a few shops within the centre open and those that are will be shutting down soon. Despite this the place is well maintained and cleaned the public free to access toilets are always clean and well maintained, there is currently in the middle a soft play area for little children and seats for parents to stop and take a breath.

The walnut shopping centre is a shopping destination in Orpington, England, with over 200 stores, a multi-storey car park, and a weekly market. It is undergoing a redevelopment project to enhance its facilities and attract more visitors.

I really enjoy the area and lack of gentrification. How long can we last local people? Lick of paint needed and has a great pie n mash shop. 😋

This place ought to be the Jewel in Orpington's Crown but with several closed units and Orpington High Street turning into a restaurant centre, it was good to see that the old Wilko has opened as a Poundstretcher, some 5 years after they pulled out of the town.

Toilets are clean. Straight up in the lift to the parking. Some of the decent big shops have gone but not really any empty shops.

Lovely place to shop and they have an odeon cinema wich is my favourite cinema to go to (when I go I like the theatre more) but loads of shops and could easily waste a few hours here and spend a bit as well

Nice and good shopping. Bit not a great selection in shopping terms. A lot of closed permanently. Need more verity. New furniture stores have opened up. Great displays at good prices. Definitely worth a look.

Probably the worst car wash I have ever visited. I paid for a full valet service. After driving home I found that the exterior paint is showing a scratchy polish effect. The interior had hardly been touched, I had to vac it out myself. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH.

Went in the evening for ice cream The whole area was buzzing with a wide variety of eating places A pleasant surprise Give it a try

Parking charges are very reasonable. But the lifts are small. 2 buggies can't fit in together . Shopping centre clean and warm and it was lovely to see a small soft play available for toddlers and babies.

It's not a good shopping centre as there aren't a lot of shops inside and quite a few are closed down. It does have a small play area for children and a couple of ok cheap shops.

Although some shops are empty there are still good places to shop or pop in for a coffee/snack or eat in a good choice of restaurants. Free parking up to 3hrs

Walnuts shopping center has all the essentials along with a cinema, leisure centre and boba shop - it is a great place to go.

You can park your car but to get out of the place is a nightmare... Seen that the across the road is a better option

Obviously due for closure. Another victim of on line shopping. Wouldn't want to be lurking around on the late shopping night

Awfully drab place with shops barely anybody would fathom to go in. I only go here to use the public toilet, and even then, they're barely functioning. Awful. Best place about it is leaving

Great soft play for boddlers. Shops declining in number and quality but I still think the works is worth a visit!

There are only a couple of shops, it's definitely gone down hill which is a shame. I only go there for the b & m shop outside the centre

Great pie mash shop here, good B&m store, worth a look round.

  • 3/5 Emily M. 2 years ago on Google
Well, this is not really a destination place to go, you would be pressed to find a reason to go out of your way to go here. Card shops, salons, savers, shoe zone, toy shop and trespass are the main things here. On a plus note, and a reason you may find yourself here, they have clean public toilets! Parking is reasonable, and on Sundays it's 1 pound all day. Lots of pubs/places to eat near by and also nearby to a Sainsbury.

Lovely size main pool and facilities. Friendly staff . Great ball pool for the kids Parking is great and very close. Gym is also very good 👍

Dated and over due pulling down. Needs radical new development in view of change in high street function. No longer a shopping centre

Was not busy and has many shops. B&M good For various items as was wilko and poundland.

  • 1/5 Jonathan F. 1 year ago on Google
Looking very run down these days, if your looking for a mall there is plenty of other choice out there. Would only go here if you are looking for a specific shop that you know is there.

  • 4/5 Bartosz K. 1 year ago on Google
Nice clean but not much shops there

  • 4/5 sabrina k. 1 year ago on Google
It's a bit quiet there's not alot clothes wise apart from charity shops but there are some nice bargains to have

  • 2/5 David H. 2 years ago on Google
It used to be a good shopping centre, but with the amount of shops which have closed for business, this doesn't make the centre look good. It's also starting to show its age with the amount of closed shops. I hope that things will start changing in the future for it.

  • 5/5 Nigel S. 2 years ago on Google
It's a bit unloved, but it does still have some useful shops. If you think it's bad now, just wait until the place is torn down and something a lot less useful is built in its place...

  • 4/5 Davey R. 9 months ago on Google
All good, although there is a lack of signposting to the leisure centre from the shopping centre

  • 5/5 Sheila T. 1 year ago on Google
I like the walnuts shopping centre as I do a lot of shopping in the different shops that are located in the walnuts and will be surely missed by myself and many more people, so it will be horrible to see what is going to happen, after all there is not that many shops, as there seems to be a lot of cafes, nail places, charity shops and estate agents, as well as shops closed down, hope you take this in consideration.

  • 3/5 Curt A. 1 year ago on Google
The management need to do whatever it takes to attract some proper shops back into the major units. It's a good mall but it's going to continue to decline if the bigger outlets are either empty or charity shops. Some good shops, excellent disabled access. Just needs a few household names to get people in.

No many shops compared to its rival Bromley Shipping centre. Quite a few cafes around the shopping centre which is good. In my opinion the shops ok Orpington high street itself makes up for the lack of shops in the shipping centre. They cinema would probably and the Walnuts sports centre would probably be the thing that attracts people to this place as both are very near by. The car par is fairly decent and reasonably priced in these times.

This center has a few good outlets that make you walk from the free parking in the local Tesco

Alas most shops have closed now ,but the shops that left are good

  • 4/5 Michael H. 1 year ago on Google
Easy parking & access to shops. Quite a good selection of places to eat & a cinema. Large retail park near maybe accounts for lack of good clothing shops.

  • 3/5 Gina K. 1 year ago on Google
Seems like the place needs revamping and feels very empty whenever I have visited. Would help to have a map of the layout and an upstairs with more shops such as h&m, Primark and maybe a stationary store. Too many cheap market like shops and phone shops.

Sainsbury's, the library and the Odeon are great, but the overall experience is... mixed. Certainly a lot of vacant units/cheaper stores than in the past unfortunately, although generally it's still okay. The refurbishment plans seem a bit odd, but we'll see.

Went to softplay with grandkids and we absolutely loved it. 😍 very well thought out and drinks and sweets, crisps available..good parking surrounding area.

Sadly being run into the ground. The new toilets are already falling apart, shops being closed because greedy developers want to build houses. It's still perfectly serviceable as a building, just needs shops!

not a shopping centre theres like 7 shops and barley any of them are good. but the outside is great; cinema, nandos, poundland. the inside is just like old and the only good thing is the small play area for children
