How to defrost the windscreen faster. Engage hot air on full blast. Select / Press Windscreen Button. Pull the visors down to trap the air onto the windscreen to stop it going over your head. This should make the defrosting process more rapid. Try the option of air circulation inside the car instead of air blowing from outside into the car.

This place is great for shopping. It has hundreds of shops all under one roof. The chain stores here are larger than your normal stores so they offer a bigger range for you to choose from. It has free parking and the car parks are all around the centre so you can park near a store if your visiting a specific store. I've been coming here since I was child and I still love this place. Beats any town centre or city centre.

It is a large complex. There is Matalan and Primark here. For parking best arrive earlier. A large area for food stalls like Mexican foods 🌯 🍟

Everything you need, parking is free and adequate access to entrances. Also disability access is sufficient too. Food court can be quite cold in the winter due to where the entrance is located. Not many restaurants serve halal food. Best to come in the morning as parking can become a problem especially for busy times of the year.

A huge shopping area indoors over two levels with just about every High Street store you can think of and a few more beside! Tuesday morning I visited and it was very quiet and relaxing to wander round. The week previous was Half Term and very different crowding. The car park was massive and had a multi-level parking area as well. Unusually it was not obvious where the disabled parking spaces were. They were clearly marked on the ground but I missed any signs pointing to the area. Disappointing that one or two shops have not grasped the concept of space for wheelchair access. Clothing rails far too close together to allow access to one shop!

Merry hill is a modern shopping center with offers free parking. It surpasses Bullring shopping center for sure with its wide array of choices and noticeably cleaner environment. Highly recommended!

Good lot of shops, first time we'd been and as it was first week of the New Year it was nice and quiet. I would, however, have appreciated a store map - it's a big place to walk around if you're trying to find a specific shop.

Was okay, slightly busy and not a lot of people wearing masks, but understandable due to the lifted laws. So nice place and nice food

It’s big, pretty sure it’s got every major retailer you could want and if it’s not in the undercover bit, it’s probably just over the road. It has many toilets which in my experience are always clean. I don’t visit anywhere at peak shopping times, so it’s never been uncomfortably busy, even primark is ok. The parking is free but often the car park is busy, and tricky to locate a space but they are there you just have to search for them. I don’t visit often but whenever I do it’s a positive experience.

You have all the main large brands under one roof. Walk ways, stairs, lifts and escalators are plentiful. Good size area containing various eateries besides a few other places serving food. However, if you are looking for something different it's not the place to go. Sorry but no Independents.

Drove for hours to go visit the pop up Halloween shop... It did not disappoint! The shopping centre was worth a trip on its own... We went with a small budget... came home with halloween treats, mochi, beautiful Hotel Chocolat chocolate... Had great bubble tea. Will definitely go again.

can't fault it. I go here regularly. loads of free parking, toilets are immaculate and plenty of them, wide variety of shops. Only downer they're not very good at cleaning the tables in the food court

Christmas shopping, sad to see all the closed shops. I felt lost without Debenhams. The one glimer of light primark is huge. Loving the new face lift of the outside.

It's a nice shopping centre, a good range of stores and kept clean. The food court is busy but there's always a table and there is a good selection of food counters aside from the usually fast food ones. The layout can leave you lost and they don't have many maps which can become frustrating! Look up the map on your phone before you visit if looking for a specific place!

Merry hill is a large shopping mall. Toilets are clean, lots of security visible. The atmosphere was calm. Eat central has a variety of food options. Parts of the mall seem rundown & the shops are closed…however the main body is vibrant with a very good variety shops.

Overall, Meryhill surpassed my initial expectations by delivering an extraordinary prime shopping experience. Their carefully curated selection, knowledgeable staff, and inviting ambiance make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking exceptional items. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply looking for a unique gift, Meryhill is where you’ll find unexpected prime treasures that will leave a lasting impression.

Although I didn't actually get inside it looks very impressive from the roadside alongside it. Large parking areas and a large selection of retailers which I have researched and been told about by a work colleague who lives nearby. I will get into it one day soon, looks worth the effort. I shall bring my wife with me and make a weekend of it with the Black country museum not far away as well as Dudley castle & Zoo.

All in all a good shopping experience, free parking and never feels to busy as there is so much room. Unlike other bid shopping centre's where you have to constantly step round people, shame we found big thick beard hairs in our pizza.

Massive place to go for a luxurious shopping. However, due to the corona virus most shops are closed except for popular Boots Pharmacy where I visited and their other sister sections .

A wide range of shops all under one roof. Great day out shopping. A little difficult with some of the restrictions in place but that is understandable. It is so convenient have all the shops so local to me all under one roof. The food court offers a wide range of food. This is useful if you are looking for a quick bite or a place to sit down and enjoy your meal while you rest your feet.

Lovely customer service from the guy that serviced us, very chatty, friendly and welcoming. Very easy online booking system. Came with my disabled client so asked for a table for her to access easier rather than a booth, and this was set up ready for us when we arrived. Had plenty of options for me as a vegan and my client who needs a gluten free diet. Food arrived within 20 minutes and was lovely

Through no fault of their own, this once bustling shopping centre is now nothing but a 'Ghost Town', not even a shadow of its former glory. Personally, I believe it will never recover from these terrible times.

Wow it's such a big place, it has a fantastic assortment of shops, there's practically every shop you can think of, from cheap poundshops to up market high end clothing stores, there really is something for everyone. There's huge baby changing rooms I was really impressed with those, I highly recommend this shopping centre and will definitely be returning!

Am basing this review on the last time all the shops were open. Intu have clearly run it down a bit, stripping out the atmosphere that used to characterise the centre. Still the same knackered flooring and filthy 1980s style glass roofing. Just needs a refit, inside as well as out. What they have done outside looks terrible so far and will obviously date really quickly. New owners hopefully will invest in the right areas and bring the centre back to somewhere near its former glory, which both the centre and the people it serves deserve by now.

A few empty stores but not as bad as some town centres. Easy free parking all around the shopping centre.....please don't start charging! it's what gives it a huge advantage over other shopping centres. A bit of work on the exterior of Primark so the multi story car park there is closed at the moment. I hope this gets reopened soon as it is a direct dry route into the centre. Covid mask wearing has become a bit lax and the toilets weren't particularly clean but I hope this will improve.

Always difficult to get disabled parking place lately and still fills me with staff having to limp around the shiny hard floors that seem to go on for miles! I do like being able to get everything from Halloween products to little bargains at savers and home bargains etc. The family also love the great Warhammer store there...Rob is always really welcoming and it's a really great autism friendly shop.

This is a great shopping centre. However, like all great shopping centres the peak times are very busy, if you don’t like crowds I’d advise to go during the week.

My favourite shopping centre. Miles better than Meadowhall. Such a large centre, loads of shops, parking is great. Many more shops outside the centre all within couple mintues walking distance. In a great location too. A must go to place when im visiting Dudley.

The best hamburger on earth, no one even close. The hamburger is juicy, delicious and of large portion, you can add what you like ( mayo, ketchup, lattice, pickles..ect) the French fries is French and of generous portion as well. The have only refillable softdrinks, NO ICED TEA (😡). The staff were super nice, the restaurant has enough seating to handle many customers at the same time. I recommend this restaurant for hamburger lovers, it is much similar to the branches in the states ( except the ICED TEA).

Merry hill has always been a part of my life, from spending time there after school and on weekends when i was younger to the occasional visit now when I need to! There's a good variety of shops and there's not much you can't get from there. Fairly easy to get to on public transport and if you drive the car parks are huge, but often look full.

  • 4/5 Kieran 2 years ago on Google
Good place to shop for all your major retailers. Indoor section is nicely laid out as well as a good variety of stores. Only issue is the parking spaces go very quickly so get there early.

On a visit to Birmingham, we spent a wet Saturday savouring the delights of the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.........and have to it was an enjoyable experience; travelling by local bus gave us a "flavour" of the West Midlands. Our bus driver was so helpful too. The centre, itself, is on one level - easy access for ALL. The shops themselves were varied and which ever premises we visited the staff were always helpful. As we were visiting and had no list of "must haves TODAY" it was a good day out. However, wanting something specific please check on-line directory of shops to avoid wasted journey.

Prefer visiting Merry Hill as it has the similar shops as Birmingham AND free parking! Only issue, which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5, far too many empty units, (are the rates too high) and no Victoria's Secrets as well as many other big brands. Otherwise, a great day out shopping and eating.

  • 5/5 Moni O. 1 year ago on Google
This place is lovely and they have quality shops here. I like that there was a section where you can sit down and eat in. You have the option to eat in or takeout which is good. I also love that the car park is free even if its up to a certain time (4 hours) which is very generous.

  • 5/5 James M. 1 year ago on Google
Far and away the best shopping centre in the area. Good variety of shops with most of the units actually occupied. Fantastic food court too, with new options appearing regularly. Brilliant for young families, including a dedicated family area with changing facilities, feeding and toilets for children.

Great shopping experience loads of varied stores all under one roof. The toilets have had a revamp as well, lovely, clean, and modern. Nice place to sit down and have a variety of different foods to suit everyone's taste. The free ample parking right next to entrance is ideal and hassle free.

Great little shopping centre with free parking and lots of stores and a retail park in close proximity. I like the pop up shops set in the centre as well as the convenient barbers located on the ground floor. Used to love going when I lived there, some new additions to the food court are upcoming and cannot wait to visit again soon!

Not too busy (9.30am). Got a parking spot very easily and no bumping into people because of the cattle walk Nice and clean. All shops well presented. One or two closed down (Disney!) Easy to navigate with the map points and using a phone for floor plans. Overall a very positive experience.

Love this place but hate how packed out it gets, maybe because it is so good and has a great variety of shops. This is our go to place for Birthday, Christmas and any other special occasion shopping 🛍. Toilets are always very clean and there are plenty of them dotted around the centre, there are plenty of places to sit and have a coffee or just a rest in between shopping and they even have little push along cars with baskets on that you can rent for little ones to sit in and keep them entertained while you shop, also has a bus station on site too for those that don't drive or want to just leave the car at home. Great shopping centre all round.

  • 5/5 HS 1 year ago on Google
Excellent shopping centre, super clean toilets , they were displaying an award for cleanliness which they fully deserve. Good variety of shops and restaurants all located in one place. Plenty of seats if you feel tired and need to sit down. Not too crowded either. Ideal place to shop and relax.

  • 3/5 Gemma V. 1 year ago on Google
Love the variety of shops but inside the centre was so cold. Good job I was wearing something warm and had my coat on. Visited with my baby and the woodland family facilities were also uncomfortable. The female toilets - I tried several taps and the water ran cold and the hand dryer was cold air. I understand they may not be able to heat a large shopping centre but they should have adequate hand washing facilities in place.

  • 4/5 Andrew S. 9 months ago on Google
This is a very good shopping center, however, the depth of shops available has fallen somewhat in recent years. Still going strong but suffering from.all.of the hardships we have all seen over the past few years. I recommend a visit but don't be disappointed if the depth and breadth of shops isn't quite what you expect.

I really enjoy going to merry hill the majority of shops are all under one roof so a great place to go shopping if it is raining. I love going to the food hall up here in particular Harper's. If you like pie and mash with vegetables you should try this takeaway. I would have given merry hill 5 stars but based on the fact that I always enjoy going to Birmingham a little more, 4 stars it would have to be.

Lovely clean shopping center. Plenty of good shops to walk around and there's a great restaurant area there with plenty of different foods to choose from. Could easily spend a couple of hours here. Huge parking area but can be a pain finding a place to park at peak times. We find it better to park further away and take a short 5 minute walk.

  • 4/5 A. S. 7 months ago on Google
A decent shopping centre that is clearly being improved by the new owners and has good public transport links, which is more important than ever to discourage unnecessary car usage. However, I greatly dislike how the bus station shelters are like greenhouses on a hot sunny day as the glass doesn't have any protective sheets that filter out intense sunlight. This can be dangerous to the elderly or vulnerable. The outdoor carpark is worse. Without overhead shelters, cars can cook intensely from constant uninterrupted sunlight. In my opinion, the new shopping centre owners should do what a lot of french car park owners are doing and invest in building shelters for cars out of solar panels.

Sad to see “all good things store “ to be going, loved that shop was worth our visit with the friendly staff .. and sad to see they are leaving only to see yet another over priced jewellery shop to be added as if there isn’t enough already !! Shame on you merryhill Center .. not enough decent clothing store there as it is Myself and family always shop here specially to the all good things store Many brands all in one unit and as there isn’t another store like it in the Midlands. You need the decent shops to encourage people to visit .. the more you lose the less likely people will bother

Good selection of shops and food available. Apart from a few shops everywhere is wheelchair accessible. Plenty of seating available throughout the centre, plenty of bins also available. Prices range from £ - £££ but something for everyone. Childrens push along seats available for use in the centre. Very big car parks, excellent public transport links
