I'd avoid this hotel. Ive stayed at better budget hotels in London. The good- reception staff during the day are friendly and helpful and the bed was clean and comfortable. The bad: my room was dirty, cups had not been washed, generally shabby with mould near the window. Really noisy at night. Bathroom was spotless but not enough to redeem this place.

Will never recommend this hotel. In the ad, they mentioned about swimming pool but when I checked and asked about pool they are given a silly reason like under renovation. Rooms are very small..U can think of sleeping in a kitchen. No water bottle in the room...A/C is there in the room but nonfunctional, they gave another excuse. I am not sure who gave these hotel 4* rating. Honestly speaking this hotel doesn't deserve to get 2* rating. I lived in this hotel for 2 weeks, the breakfast menu was the same daily. In breakfast, they only serve repeated beer and pork, no chicken. I will suggest stopping booking this hotel then they will learn the lessons. I spoke to the receptionist why they do this then they said they target tourist who's doesn't stay longer..they spent most of the time outside so they don't ask for pool. Be careful if you are booking this hotel.

Tiny room with extra small double bed. Very tired looking hotel, landing carpets dirty. Only one of two tiny lifts working - apparently been broken down for 2 weeks! Breakfast not bad, but no direction given and staff were simply functional and seemed fed up to be there (probably understandably!) - apart from reception staff who were helpful. We won't be returning.

Brand new hotel. Taken over by Sonder. Complete renovation. All modern and keyless, all done in Sonder app. Quite clean and updated design.

A budget hotel around a 10 minute walk from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park. On check in I found the reception staff's command of English wasn't 100% so it was a little difficult to make myself understood. The room itself was basic, which is fair enough with a budget hotel. However, the finish of the decor was poor. The laminate flooring was poorly fitted and the furniture looked tired. In a contrast to this the en suite bathroom was finished to a better standard. A big negative was the air conditioning. The display was flashing an error message upon my arrival. I queried it with the front desk to see if someone could take a look at it for me. I was told that the air conditioning throughout the hotel didn't work but was told where the switch was for the ceiling fan. With the high ceiling I found the effect of the fan negligible. The bed was comfortable with a nice duvet. I had a good nights sleep. The hotel has a pool but their description of it as a spa is a little much. It is a pool and a sauna. There are no locker facilities to secure your belongings. Breakfast is very good with a good selection of warm foods, pastries and cereals available at the buffet. Along with a self service hot and cold drinks. Although the decor again is a little tired in the dining area. Overall, it is a good hotel with the plus points outweighing the negatives. If you can get past the down sides it a good hotel to stay in London on a budget. The building needs a little care and it could score higher.

On the positive side, the hotel is very close to Hyde Park. Easy access to public transport as well tube. Hyde Park is a great place for a brisk walk. On the negative side, the rooms are too small as well dated, the carpet is in a bad condition. Service levels are not great. The check in experience was poor but check out was okay. Breakfast is okay but pricing is slightly on a higher side. The service levels as well room quality is very poor for the tariff. The lift particularly horrible!!!

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Our room was clean, but very cramped. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, and the pool is nice and warm. The interior desperately needs a remodel, as it is very shabby, but if you're going to be out all day and sleeping in the hotel I would recommend it (but maybe look elsewhere if there are better options for the price). It looks very nice from the outside but gets worse and worse as you go further in. The staff were all very nice and helpful during our stay.

Being on the ground floor at the front of the hotel we found our room very noisy, we could hear the tubes, every vehicle and conversation outside and inside the hotel. The room is set up in an odd way not allowing to see the tiny tv from the bed, I can’t get to the wardrobe without moving the chair and you can use the wardrobe with putting your bottom on the kettle. The carpet was in poor repair and the floors very creaky in ours and every other room around us. Our shower was far too hot and the shower holder and screen was faulty. Sounds like a lot of things but I would have expected more. That being said that staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, the bed was comfy too. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the tube and to some beautiful gardens by Hyde park

I read bad reviews for this hotel and I must say they were totally and absolutely wrong!!!! We had a lovely stay. Room and bathroom were extremely clean. Staff extremely helpful. Only issue, the air conditioning wasn't working. Convenient to the tube, lovely area, Kensington gardens entrance only a few steps away.

Very clean, well presented hotel room. Not the lap of luxury, but very comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. Including complimentary drinks and wash things. Barely a 2 minute walk from Hyde Park, and less than 5 minutes walk from a number of tube stations. The only fault is that because its an old building, the walls are fairly thin and the floors are creaky, which did unfortunately disturb my sleep. However, this wouldn't put me off booking it again, or recommending to a friend.

They dont have cleaning services unless you pay extra money, which is weird since they are a hotel. The small room is expected.
