I recently visited FWD:Coffee again and it was good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The flat white, which I had was rich and flavorful, and the almond croissant was fresh and delicious. I appreciate that they use ethically sourced coffee beans and offer dairy-free milk options for those with dietary restrictions. The seating area gets busy and is pretty basic. Popular coffee shop in the area.

Whitecross Road branch of FWD:Coffee. Grungey and eclectic, on the side of rundown, fitting with the neighbourhood. Decent matcha latte and not too sweet.

No real strong feelings on this one. No option of a V60, but the batch brew was ok. The only issue was a slight metallic taste, I would expect from cold metal components, but it was mid day and I didn't expect it with a batch brew. The atmosphere is lovely, it was chilled and there are some great sociable seating areas. It did start to get busy as I left, and started to get pretty loud. But it's inevitable when there is no sound deadening and it's 1.5 height room with exposed metal, brick and full height glass windows.

When Hansen’s MmmBop is playing when you walk in you know it’s going to be a good coffee shop. Ok not really. But this time it’s true. This place had been in my radar and I was pleased. Good coffee. Great croissant. Maybe it was just a frozen thing, I don’t know, but I got it freshly baked and it was delicious! Really great atmosphere and lively 90s music playing the whole time. I very much enjoyed the hour or two I spent here on their free Wi-Fi. 10/10 would recommend.

When approach to the counter to buy a coffee and dessert the barista told me that I could not eat market food on the tables (I was holding a Brazilian sandwich) When I explain that i was buying coffees and dessert she still told me I could not use the tables …. 3 empty tables inside and 2 outside. I walked out and when to the cafe down the corner where this was allowed. What business are you running where you don’t allow to eat personal food when I m still buying products. Customer service and flexibility -1. Plenty of more friendly and better set up coffees around the corner.

Fantastic coffee shop situated in the busy street. Plenty of space to work or chat. The coffee is amazing with a few roasts on offer. The reward card app system is great and who doesn't love a free coffee. My flat white was £3.25 and in my opinion, a bit large compared to a standard flat white.... Definitely recommend If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews

Terrible iced Matcha. Not worth the price. Matcha not integrated at all. Just a bunch of balled up matcha bits in milk. You can’t add matcha powder to cold liquid you need to add hot water first and then add that to milk. The staff was incredibly rude as well.

This is our go to coffee place to work. They open late, very cosy. Staff are very nice. It is behind the main road, so not hugely crowded also. Would highly recommend it!

Fresh croissant available at 7am. Very tasty. Only cafe on this street opens from 7am. Convenient for early morning people. Great tasting coffee.

Great coffee place. Have all the milk alternatives along with some great coffee beans. They always say where the beans are from, and you can taste the amazing flavour in the coffee. Nice place to get some work done, read or if you are just looking to catchup with friends. They have some ready to go good as well, but obviously the coffee is what’s best here.

Ideal to work (quiet, many plugs all around, tables and comfy couches) or to just have a nice coffee. Also, the staff is super nice and I have 2 examples for that! 1. I accidentally spilled my drink and they not only cleaned immediately but also offered to do my drink again for me 2. an old lady got anxious while waiting for someone and they offered her comfort and food. Only one suggestion, I would add more food

Fashionable coffee in a New York loft style location, on the edge of the market. Always has a few people with laptops working in the corner, no doubt enjoying the good coffee. The single espresso is bold and strong, served in a tiny thimble-like glass. I really quite like it that way! Staff seem friendly, and there are magazines to read if you are hanging around on your own, or comfy sofas to chat with a friend. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Really nice coffee shop to work from: it has a very nice atmosphere, multiple charging plug and free WiFi. Bonus, a lot of comfy seats. Downsides: 1) the WiFi code expires every hour, so you have to log back with a new code everytime 2) the main door has some type of defect and it doesn't close properly... So the place is actually as cold and windy as being outside!

Chilled cafe, coffee was great however not much of a food selection Tables are small and it gets quite busy (but we did go on a Saturday afternoon) We played some board games, some people chill on their laptops. The atmosphere was 5/5

very nice coffee and the shop gives a cozy feeling. staff is friendly and attentive. however for god sake, please change the sofas, they are so old and some of them are really uncomfortable (particularly the one under tye windows in the corner)

I don't often review places on Google but I have to give credit where credit is due, this coffee shop is amazing. Super chilled hip vibe, extremely friendly and kind staff, with a delicious selection of cakes/pastries as well as hot beverages. But best of all... the prices!!! Fantastic. Don't visit Pret, Starbucks or Costa for overpriced bland drinks and snacks. If you're in the area, go to FIX instead, you won't regret it! A little gem of a place 5* (ps we stayed in London for 4 days and visited the cafe twice, both experiences we rated it 5/5)

Fix is good. Lovey location and they were great all the way through lockdown. Coffee and cakes are nice. But the sandwiches are a bit weird. Good place to get some work

Nasty extra strong coffee and even ruder staff. Going here was not a pleasant experience at all. We walked from the Barbican Conservatory to visit this place especially. When we got there after buying a coffee and sitting down I was literally barked at by one of the staff members that I'm not allowed to eat outside food in the cafe (I had a wrap with me which was on the table). I understand if this is the case however there is a polite way to say it and not announce it to the whole cafe while you are barking at me. I would stay well away from this place if you want a nice coffee in a friendly place. The staff are extremely rude and need of a training course on how to speak to customers.

FWD offers a decent cup of coffee with a nice laid back, shabby-chic kind of atmosphere. The service is friendly and unobtrusive.

Walked around the street 3 times and finally got a seat, thanks for really kind staff 🥰. Coffee and the Portuguese dessert was so good :) lucky there was 1 left otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to control myself 😓🙄 set for awhile, place was not too hot not too cold, good atmosphere 😅

These guys were so lovely. I spilled my coffee all over the place and they insisted on replacing it for me. I found that so kind as they certainly didn't have to. Great place to sit and work with free wifi and lots of plug sockets. Very welcoming as they are happy for you to sit and work with no rush to leave. Highly recommend this place for service and ambience. 🙏

I like this place. Good to study and work on your laptop, lots of power outlets. But please don't come because I want to find seats. Also they have filter coffee which is a huge win!

Love the interior and location, but the flat white here is sad - a latte in a small cup with very little espresso. Have tried it multiple times - disappointed every time

Brilliant friendly coffee shop with a selection of salads, soups, stews including vegan options. The cakes are so tempting, the chocolate brownies looked so incredible and moist, it took so much willpower not to buy them! Coffee was delicious and perfectly done. Really lovely staff

Very quiet place perfect for bringing your laptop or reading on the couches. I had the quinoa feta beetroot salad with hazelnuts (my go to 😅) and it was delicious. Staff is very friendly too!

Pretty decent hidey hole for your salon appointment next door. Good coffee too. FYI: 1x large latte at £3.20.

Another wannabe trendy coffee place to attract wannabe trendies and hipsters who have suddenly become coffee experts. Coffee is ok. Prices are reasonable. But atmosphere annoys me. Other than that not a bad place as long as ya focus on the coffee and not all the gimmicks.

The coffee is good no matter who makes it, staff are always friendly and cool music choices. Work here everyday of my life, nice and comfortable. Their air con has made the last 3 months bearable.
