Ordered luxury mocha didn't even taste like ordinary mocha. Very bland and watery.

I love this branch of Nero coffee. It has plenty of seats not all of them comfortable but you can easily spend time reading or.working. The staff is friendly and helpful and the tables are kept clean.

I really love their chai lattes. I passed by this evening to get one, and got a complementary drink by a lovey hijabi barista she made my day 🤍 thank you for your lovely service

Latte was unfortunately not the best. Pastry was extremely dry. Pros: Wonderful atmosphere for working or catching up with friends and very friendly staff !

Great location between Covent Garden and Holborn in an area where there are quite a few Caffe Nero’s. Really like the seating and décor in this branch. Not too cramped and a really laid-back casual vibe. Often quite a few students working in here on their laptops with a coffee. Plenty of available seating though mid-afternoon on a weekday. Friendly lady serving.

Called in here on two occasions now. Ideally placed in theatre land for a pre or post show drink. Plenty of seats and good friendly service. Good hot coffee. No complaints.

Bit disappointing to pay more than what I should’ve because barista didn’t want to void incorrect transaction… drink wasn’t great either. Rubbish experience overall

Open the door while outside is freezing only that she can clean outside. Also they only give you takeaway cups even when you tell them you stay inside

Hot chocolate is just hot milk (probably mixed with water) and some powder of cacao on top. Not very nice from your part!

This shop has iced drinks on the menu on the wall, but I was just told that they haven't done them in months. I had to wait 10 min to learn that they don't serve what's on the menu. One to avoid.

Lovely location, love cafe Nero coffee as always. Came down to this lovely coffee shop at 7pm on 05/06 and was greeted by an Asian or a white man with glasses who confirmed the closing time is 9pm. I ordered two mocha’s to drink in, however was served them in takeaway cups as the shop is ‘closing in two hours’ as he said. We wanted to sit by the window, however my mum noticed that the table was filthy so we chose a cleaner spot in the middle of the floor. Turns out that table was dirty too, but oh well, I thought I’ll just clean it since this is the style this coffee shop seems to be having. As I approached another member of staff, an Asian lady with a headscarf this time, she was proudly chomping her chewing gum as she reluctantly brought the spray over. I was surprised that she actually cleaned it as I was prepared to do it myself, since none of the tables looked like they’ve ever been cleaned. Anyway, coffee lovely as always, however staff - not so much. I guess this shop is not worth the drinking in experience that I always love at Cafe Nero 😔

Great Americano coffee....very smooth with no bitter after-taste. Nice chilled-out vibe and tasteful interior, with loads of comfy seats to sit and watch the world go by!

Decent food and coffee with friendly service but whole place needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. Tables are sticky and not cleared quickly. Toilets are awful and not clean.

Been here for a coffee in my lunch brake. I wanted an Ice Chai Latte, I've been told that's something that they don't serve. I asked if they can add ice to the chai latte that they served. At the counter was a young gentlemen who was very indagated by my request and refused it. I ask for the ice separate and I will add it myself, even that was a big deal for him even when his colleagues said they can actually make my order eventually. Not the best customer service!!!

Nice big Caffe Nero. I would give it five stars but the menu on the boards was not up to date and when I ordered an iced drink they said they were not available. Please update the menu boards with currently available drinks!!!!

Disappointed by Nero generally but this branch wasn't great either in terms of drink quality. It was busy and service was a bit slow. One member of staff was a bit curt and abrasive, however a woman served us who was very good, courteous and processed our order fully. Unfortunately the drinks were not very tasted, and appeared to be watered down. The only redeeming part was the Belgian crispy brownies we got which were good, but slightly stale.

Very nice and cozy space, but as always in a city centre - huge queues, and to be very honest the coffee is not that amazing. Better than Pret, but worse than Costa.

Really good coffee, the place is also quite nice and the seats are comfortable. I had an absolutely delicious carrot cake! The only thing missing was the customer service that seemed almost annoyed having to take our orders.

Waited 25min to place an order, only 4 people ahead of me. Staff seemed to be getting the orders wrong from everyone. I was asked twice if I wanted milk in my green!? tea, I answered twice that I didn't... and my green tea ended up being served with milk in it.. Very strange.

I went to Caffe Nero this morning to get a simple flat white, I arrived at 9:10am and waited in the queue for 30 minutes to be served. I understand that it is a busier hour (there were 6-7 people queuing in front of me), however the 2 baristas were unbelievably slow. The barista got my order wrong (I asked for an extra shot of espresso and she forgot), and I also overheard that they got the 2 orders in front of me wrong. I normally really enjoy going to Caffe Nero, however this was a really unpleasant experience and I won't be returning.

Worst Caffè Nero experience. Not worth going to these chains anyway but this was by far one of my worst experiences. Had our seats stolen by righteous customers which isn’t the fault of the staff but may give you an idea about local clientele. Also took two staff members about 6 minutes to make my one drink and both seemed incredibly unhappy and put out by it the entire time and refused to offer me anything else although I had come in for coffee and lunch. Full of flies that were buzzing around my face at the till and at our table. Really disgusting experience. Although the staff couldn’t do much, I don’t blame them but the management who left them alone in a store without the capabilities of making an ice americano (I am not exaggerating).

The best hot chocolate I've had at any Nero café ever! Not surprised they had a never ending long queue. I was able to do some work on my laptop and sit the furthest away from the door because it was a busy evening. But the toilet is out of order so they get only 3 stars. Not having a toilet in a café is not OK.

I have been going to Caffe Nero in Kingsway for over 6 month, I mostly like that the cafeteria is open up to 22:00 Monday - Friday. However, lately they have been closing at 21:00 and on the website there is no update or explanation for this. It would be nice if this could be clarified to avoid any disappointment.

For a start the table we chose to sit at with our 2 dogs was dirty and we were the only customers. The new manager who apparently has been there for 2 months then informed me we would have to sit outside with our dogs. If it were summer I wouldn’t care to be honest for the sake of an argument but it was 10 degrees. We are Covent Garden residents of 10 years and regularly use this branch and sit inside with our dogs - who are always on our lap or on the floor never on the furniture so I have no idea why having a dog in an empty coffee shop in the first place is a fuss. My friend had already ordered drinks so we asked for a refund which the manager made for us albeit with an attitude. I asked for her name but she pretended not to hear me. I thought there’s no point arguing this when we can go down the road to long acre where the staff could not be more kind. The manager there even kindly messaged the manager of kingsway to tell her dogs are indeed allowed inside. Redemption coffee 1 minute away from the kingsway branch is also excellent so I now have no reason to ever go back here so that’s one positive to take away. Caffè Nero, please train your managers properly, especially when competition locally is so high.

Hello, I would like to make a complaint about how I was treated at your store in Café Nero Kingsway. The manager was very rude. I went into use my birthday cake voucher and I asked what cake I could have because I was under the impression that I could only use it on Carrot or Belgium Chocolate cake. The assistant said any cake. I said the chocolate cake but then I decided that it looked rather small so I asked for a cheese cake instead. The voucher would not go through so she called the manager. The manager tried to put the cake through but she couldn't and said that my voucher was invalid. When I asked to change the cake for the Belgium Chocolate one she started saying that I was really messing everyone and the other customers in the queue about and that I was a really horrible person. She did not want to change the cake. She said the assistant was lovely and the area manager knew a lot but I was really a horrible customer. I was very upset. I also asked for an extra hot mocha but it was only warm but I was too worried to complain again. I asked her to add a stamp because I had used my own cup but she did not put it on. She reluctantly made the drink and the cake. When I complained about being upset she told me all the staff were perfect but I was just a horrible customer and her English seemed bad too. I did not enjoy the Mocha or the cake because I was so upset. I would like compensation of a free cake and coffee because I was badly treated and I felt compelled to write this email. I would like you to speak to the manager. I expect much better, I have never been so badly treated in a cafe Nero. From Paul .......

My favourite & most convenient branch. However, the quality of the coffee varies widely depending on the batista. That said, Cafe Nero's coffee is the best of the chains.

Horrible service. I got a completely different drink than what I ordered. As he was making mine, Another barista was changing price signs on the food while ignoring customers at the register. The two workers were in robot mode. Sad.
