Coffee and plants what more could you want in life? We discovered this cute coffee shop during lockdown, and I've been back a few times since. They have delicious coffee, yummy pastries and are laptop friendly. Bonus points for being pet friendly, cats included!

Another little local gem for sure and we will definitely investigate it more! The guy who served us, was pretty friendly and helpful. Pastries were very yumm!! Good quality coffee! The table area is sooo cute! We bought a bag of coffee beans too for home brew and yes, great beans. The reason it’s not 5 stars, is - there is NO price! We got a bag of standard coffee beans, one americano, one latte, one choco almond croissant and raisin pastry. We paid 29£ .. But we will give them a try again!

The best coffee in London. It had such a beautiful aroma. The cafe's vibes are great too. I love the flowers and choice of colour!

Why oh why have I not been here before? Flat white and a pain au raisin sitting in the window watching the world come and go. The regulars are a lovely bunch of people too. The decor and plethora of house plants (for sale) provide a fairly unique setting. Coffee is true barista.

Coffee is fantastic, outdoor seating is so darling, their pastries (we had two different slices of loaves) were perfect. Weirdly enough my favorite thing is the cup my latte was served in. It has indents for your thumbs to hold the cup rather than a handle and I just love that? Also, they sell plants. That’s pretty awesome.

Worth visiting, especially you are a big fun of single origin coffee. Sweets are also nice here, but def have to order coffee. You can hardly find this quality coffee anywhere in London.

I definitely recommend this place) Desserts were not the best, but they are ok. The place has a small backyard with tables there. It is a small but very cozy space. Interior is distinctive by variety of plants which are available for sale. Coffee is specalty and exquisite.

Really remarkable coffee served here by two lovely gentlemen. 100% consistent and always astronomically delicious. This place brought a new meaning to coffee for me. Oat latte is my go to here (heavenly stuff) or also tasting the different beans (often fruity) as a black Americano. I feel like they've dialled in the ideal balance between flavour and strength really well.

I absolutely love coming to Urban Botanica. Outstanding customer service, the coffee is delicious and the cakes are tasty! (Also, anywhere selling plants is an instant favourite in my books). So much care and attention goes into the cafe and every small detail has been considered. It’s my favourite place to visit in the area!

A lovely neighbourhood cafe with good coffee and cake - and dog biscuits for canine friends! Friendly service and reasonable conditions for laptop use. Excellent plants!

Gorgeous little cafe with a great atmosphere! The cakes were so fresh and scrummy and the service was excellent. We will be returning next time in London.

Wonderful coffee, wonderful atmosphere (it smells lovely and fresh because of the plants!). Our favourite thing is the very athestically pleasing mugs! Very good prices for the great coffee and friendly staff. Thankyou and we will be back!

love this place. great coffee, great vibes. Never too busy - and a great place to hang out in the plants, or take a coffee to take away

Very lovely place inside, but I was very out off by their strict 90-minute stay policy. I was the only one in the café, and after sipping my tea and working on my laptop for ~70 minutes the barista asked, checking his watch, if I was almost done as my time would soon be up. Again, the cafe was empty and I was a paying customer. Very odd and I probably will not be returning.

Fantastic cafe. Needed a good coffee in and around the Oval and came across this (which by the way didn’t appear in Google as a choice). Worth a visit. Lovely interior (can see where the cafe name comes from immediately😁) and the coffee was fantastic! Great little outdoor garden at the back on a good day. Well worth a visit

Had high expectations, but had bad experience. Got Rwanda espresso and it was so sour and sharp to the point of being undrinkable. Almost like having vinegar. Nothing like the pleasant fruity or citrus acidity that I like. Was I just unlucky or was the barista lacking in training? I don't know, but I felt the beans had potential. It must have been a classical case of under-extraction. Still - unacceptable. Not sure if I would give it another try.

This new spot could be the best coffee shop in this side of the town, including its unique interior and nice taste of coffee. Located in a corner near the main road in Kennington area, this newly opened shop offers coffee and sells plants, a pretty contemporary combination that allows customers to really have some quiet breathing moments in a big city like London. My flat white was with oat milk, it tasted really sophisticated, very well balanced. I really enjoyed it. The barista really know what he’s doing. The snack offering is also rich, I didn’t try any but I look forward to trying some next time. When I visited it was a busy Sunday afternoon, almost full. I squeezed with another customer on a small table. Everyone was cool and calm, I feel this is the kind of cool place that hooks out cool locals. I will definitely come back more!

Good coffee. As a local though I find it odd that a coffee shop doesn’t open until 9:30. Would love to see it open more than 5.5 hours a day.

This is such a lovely cafe, definitely worth a visit if you find yourself near Kennington or Oval! The space is very cozy, filled with plants you can buy, great coffee, delicious pastries, and to top it off the owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Tastiest coffee in Kennington. It’s a £3 cappuccino joint, but no qualms paying for proper coffee. Plant selection good for size of shop.

Always an amazing atmosphere and (of course) amazing coffee, run by one person and a whole room of beautiful plants available for adoption. Since I live far away I don’t get to go as much as I would like, but if I ever venture out near here I always make a trip out of it and order a flat white or two! Their coffees never fail to surprise me, and some of their beans I’ve never seen being used anywhere else in London. Their pastries are tasty too! I’ve also bought some plant pots for many a mother’s day, which has always been a massive hit.

Don’t usually leave reviews but we come here every weekend and the two guys who work there (owners?) are amazing. Their coffee never misses and their pastries are great too ( get the pistachio pain au choc). Loads of cool plants and a gorgeous interior and plants🪴
