Very messy and dirty place. Shame to the PAUL brand. Tables stay dirty for 15-20 minutes.. (instead the staff prefers to chitchat and have a laugh between them behind the counterwhen). I have even seen customers bringing the previous customer's plate back to them. Do you expect them to also clean the dishes ? The floor or chairs NEVER get clean.. Sandwiches are ok. Though it's pricy when it's not fresh.

Nice place. Coffe is good and sandwiches are really great. I've tried coppa ham and cheese, it was delicious, crispy bread and the ham carpacio was tasty.

Great and fast service, clean space and delicious food from pastery to sandwishes. Perhaps you can add ‘halal’ sign next to the halal food given the large number of arabic tourists who visit the store. Will ne a nice inclusion gesture.

Old food, horrible service, disgusting hygienic, dirty tables. Why is so difficult to keep good standards, you are in the heart of London and your restaurant looks awful!

Needed a rest after winter wonderland and found this place had an empty table. The hot chocolate was good, but that was where our good experience ended. Charged us eat-in prices (which were higher than the eat in prices on the menus) before telling us they were going to switch to takeaway only 5 minutes later. Staff were also rude when we protested and refused to refund the difference in cost. The toilet was also absolutely foul.

Lovely and lovely. Friendly staff, better cakes and baked goodies. Better than Starbucks. That’s all I have to to say 😉

Nice location and good space for seating and enjoying your coffee. The coffee tasted very good and the customer service is alright. The cleanliness of the seating area needed a bit more attention. Toilet facility is clean and well maintained.

Very disappointed with cleanliness, atmosphere, coffee, and cake. I used to love Paul as it had good atmosphere, was clean and had good coffee and cakes. I have not been to Paul for a while, and have never before been to this one on Edgware Rd, and will not go again. Floor and table's were dirty, choice of cakes poor and quality too. Ordered a large pistachio macaroon - it was old, chewy and just sugar, no taste. Coffee was not that good either. Not going again and do not recommend it. I wonder if the quality of other Paul caffes has gone down,.

Food and coffee great 👏 Lovely staff 🙏 The only thing cached my eye that staff is not coming out to clean the tables after guests had left, crumbs all over 👀P. S. Location wasn't busy when I visited.

Good cafe offering good quality pastries and drinks and basic snacks. Service was a little slow despite not being busy but otherwise ok.

Having been to a few different PAUL locations over the past month I’d have to rate this one better than most. It’s less crowded which allows the service to be more attentive. The food is good if you get there earlier in the day when it’s all fresh. Coffee is very good as is the fresh squeezed orange juice. I definitely recommend this specific PAUL location.

I normally love the Paul brand but this branch falls well below the expected quality, cleanliness and staff standards. The service was rude and dismissive and impatient and the cleanliness of the store was unacceptable. The staff member who served us wiped dirty tables down with his BARE hands and then went behind the counter again to serve. Disgusting.

Food is good. But service and hygiene is quite poorly. You pay extra to eat-in but you must sit on dirty couches and tables are not clean either.

One of the worst customer experience I had recently. I came into the restaurant waiting to be served. The personal of the restaurant saw me and walk pasted me...I waited 5 minutes and nobody came so I decided to leave and the "funny" part is that they served the persow who came into the shop after me. I wouldn't recommend this "restaurant" to anybody 1nd for sure I will never step a foot in it.

Brie Sandwich was ok, the bread was deliciouse. Pizza with mashrooms was good but the dough was dry. For dessert we had the blueberries pue, wich was ok. the eClair with hasselnuts was very good, a bit old though as the bun was dry a bit.

The desserts are awesome as the standard of this franchise, same as in my hometown. The female staff at the counter here are not friendly. They reacted with the customer badly and they chose to assist only British/European customers, not Asain. Would be my first and last time visiting here.

Food was great - croissant was airy and crispy, hot chocolate was thick and indulgent. However, service didn’t match. The staff kept asking us to repeat what we wanted. They also spilt some of the drinks into the saucer before we picked it up. Furthermore, cleanliness is an issue. Cutlery were dirty that we had to just wipe it ourselves.

First impression, underwhelming food items on display, the quiche looked like they had been sitting around a while. No great choice of savoury items. Asked for a croissant with cheese. They heated it in a microwave! That's sacrilege. My order for a coffee was served in a paper cup, even though we were dining in. Run down interior, tables were less than clean, the chairs could do with a vacuuming. The little triangular sugar sachet dispensers were Dirty. One chair at our table had it's seat completely collapsed and knocked out, our table was wobbly. My first visit to Paul in London, and I'm thinking, what's so special about the place! Pret a Manger or Costa would probably be a better bet. I had to ask staff for a piece of cardboard carton to shove under the table leg to steady it. Sloppy sloppy sloppy! The staff need to do a major spring cleaning. 😑
