I used to come to this restaurant, the french toast with hazelnut was not tasty & smaller than the previous menus & the old menus was better And i was surprised with the receipt ( they add service fees and donation without asking or notifying me !! )

Brunch was so tasty - staff were lovely! Unfortunately the proprietors have chosen to cram people in elbow-to-elbow with the next table. If you go as a party of two you’ll have someone next to you, so close a private chat is impossible. So uncomfortable.

Really great food - would book ahead as it gets quite busy. I would definitely recommend the duck hash. Few points of improvement - the coffee is far too strong and bitter (I’m saying that as someone who enjoys strong coffee) and also the seating against the wall inside is very short and uncomfortable to sit on for more than 30 mins (i’m not particularly tall so it would be more uncomfortable for someone who had longer legs).

relaxing outdoor eating experience located in a small side street! Food was fun and the portions were quite large!

Amazing food and nice place. Highly recommend for breakfast and brunch, Corn Fritters & Halloumi, big veg and smashed avocado all were good. The fried halloumi was ok. The big veg is only on the weekends menu.

Very nice place to get a brunch and nice cup of coffee. Ordered a latte, leans towards the nutty side I’d say; really enjoyed it. As for food, I’ve got the avocado poke ball, personally like it very much because of the short flavours, the sesame dressing works well and the black rice are good too. Plus service overall are great, will be back.

I was expecting a better experience from Lantana, especially since they charge a service fee of 14 percent!

Great place to go for brunch. Would recommend booking in advance on the website to get a table. Lots of cute outdoor seating on a pedestrian only street. Lots of good menu options with half the options being vegetarian. Food is well seasoned- overall a nice spot!

Came here on a busy Sunday afternoon. We decided to sit outside as we had no idea what to do. We were eventually served and had a nice coffee. The coffee is OK, pretty standard cafe coffee but nothing out of this world to be honest. The food, although we did not get looked absolutely incredible and the table next to us enjoyed theirs very much. Overall, nice but nothing crazy. Maybe just come for the food. Came here for brunch with a friend on Saturday. Glad that we had booked a table beforehand because it was quite packed at 12noon. I have previously been to their other branch in Shoreditch so am quite a regular customer and am aware that different branches have different menus. My friend is vegan and she suggested we come here again because she had a great food experience last time. I went with the lemon and raspberry french toast and a flat white and my friend ordered the avocado poke bowl and a fresh orange juice. My french toast was alright because it was quite dry with every limited amount of raspberry jam sauce around the plate and the lemon crème fraiche in the middle which wasn't sufficient to make the toast bread softer and easier to eat. The sauce was good but definitely would have appreciated a lot more of it especially with the hazelnut crumbles that absorbed a lot of the jam. Flat white was average. My friend enjoy her poke bowl and said that there could have been more rice to go with all the toppings she had. I enjoyed the food I had last two times in the Shoreditch branch so was quite disappointed with the experience this time. Service wise, staff were all very friendly, smiley and attentive. Vibe wise it was cost and chill. But the table was very small to fit in two plates, two cups and a bottle of tap water. They really need to do something about it because the space is tight and people were so loud so it was really hard to talk freely when we were there. Not sure if I would come back soon in the near future as it's also quite a pricey brunch place compared to other cafés around East London.

Unfortunately, there was no French Toast that day, but overall experience and food were so good and delicious.

Had a nice time at Lantana Cafe, but not sure it’ll be my go-to spot. The food was good - every dish tasted fresh and the portions were generous enough; the coffee was also good. The fair is standard Australian brunch, i.e., corn fritters or a hip take on the full English. Service was somewhat lacking - our table wasn’t ready when we arrived for our booking and we had to wait. The staff was not particularly enthusiastic, but at least didn’t hover. And we were given our check without asking for it well in advance closing time. In short, while the food was good and the place nicely designed, it lacks the hospitality I’d want to give it the full five stars. It is, however, a reliable brunch spot where we were able to get a table not too long in advance, and in London - that counts for something.

The food is really original and delicious and the service is great too! Not a fan of the 14% service charge.

Amazing food and lovely staff. Both our breakfasts were fantastic, and the decaf cappuccino was the best we've ever had.

The food was okay and the staff was nice but we found the 14% service charge a bit steep for the experience.

Lovely little gem in fitzrovia. The French toast with poached pears is to die for. Great coffee too. Was surprised at 14‰ service charge, but enjoyed our meal none the less.

Dined in solo a few weeks ago on a Friday lunch time where it was getting fairly busy and was made to feel totally welcomed and at ease by the female member of staff in particular (thank you!). Found the corn fritters with bacon lovely and arrived quickly.

Really nice brunch spot with nice outdoor seating. A bit pricey but still very good quality. Everything we tried was very tasty!

Lovely idea for a cafe, but not the best execution. Staff was calm and obliging, but not the friendliest. Fun vibe aesthetically, with music and clean decor. But whoever handles the making of espresso drinks needs a bit more training. Every cup was sour and under-extracted.

Found this place by accident — good (vegan) food, nice staff, and aircon. Also can drink after you finish the meal. Will visit again.

Such an amazing place! As always it is not only a matter of offer; which by the way was really lovely. Especially the people making the atmosphere! Thank you very much to Lee; who went over and beyond with his hospitality. I look forward to visiting you again. Many happy regards.
