Came here for the forth times. The cafe is located at the 1st fl., using rather small staircases to go to, besides Neal's Yard Remedies shop underneath. It has a tropical feel decor, relax & non formal. Good quality of food & drinks, all are vegetarian healthy options. The juices are fresh. Some of the food taste a bit unfamiliar at first, as they aren't using too much salt nor sugar.

Delicious good. The smoothie was especially yummy. Menu is quite small and not expensive, so easy to try everything on the menu. 2 of the items I ordered weren't available. All the food came out at different times, 20 minutes in between each dish so was a good job that me and my partner were sharing the dishes and not having our own, otherwise would have waited a long time for the food. Because of this we were there for a long time, but the food was delicious.

Mostly raw, mostly vegan and 100% gluten-free food done *very* well, with almost every dish a visual and flavour delight. Raw food is easy to do poorly. Without the benefit of heat to unlock flavour dishes that sound great can be dull. My experience tells me that Wild Food Cafe are doing raw food extremely well. Of 6 dishes sampled, two starters, mains & sides *every* dish had striking flavour notes. This is where I would bring people dubious about raw, vegan, gluten-free food to show them how great it *can* be like. The venue is teeny tiny small and deservedly popular which means you will at almost any time find it busy and if you are in a group of less than 4 be seated alongside others. However the semi-communal tables and benches do fit with the wellbeing, social, yoga, ethos which is very much also a part of Wild Food Cafe. It reminded me of meal times taken at yoga retreats, with a friendly group chatting around a long table. Staff appear to be authentically happy and keen to please. Prices are certainly steep relative to other chains and for the portion sizes so visit for the foodie treat rather than to satiate enormous hunger!

Lovely girls but the food was served cold and very very expensive for the food you get,I would never recommend this place, what a pity because the location is nice!!

So perfect! Luckily, I arrived right when they opened and had my choice of seating. I sat next to the window on a sunny day and enjoyed the views below of Neil's Yard, as well as the people watching as others started arriving. The food was awesome and exactly what I needed. My server was great and knowledgeable about the city. She recommended a concert venue I went to that night and loved. Will absolutely return when I'm back in London!

Nice food, limited menu but that's a good thing. Service was a little slow but the place is very busy. It's a very small place and you have to share tables, which is fine until you want to leave and others are eating. But the food really is nice and is beautifully presented. I would eat here a lot if I were local.

The cafe is on the first floor. You could find the stairs on the left. The food is delicious. Amazing for vegetarians. The juices are amazing. They even have a botanical cola( healthier version). A bit expensive though.

Absolutely delicious vegan food, ultra cute interior (loved the view out the window) and lovely staff. I had the goddess bowl which was very filling and the flavours worked together very well. I especially enjoyed the sprouts and mint-y dressing. The chickpea fries we ordered were also yummy and the fried onion/lemon sauce they were smothered in was to die for. Don't even get me started on the salted caramel slice.... I couldn't ask for more to be honest and I can't wait to return !

The food was OK. Loved the mushroom toast, didn't like the soup or the almonds. They forgot about what I've ordered - when I saw they brought the same dish to the people besides me I flagged it and it seems they had forgotten about my food. I had to eat alone. No discount or courtesy offered (they offered me almonds but I had already had them as an entree, didn't like them and just wanted my food).

I am a meat eater,so when my sister and niece led me in to the restaurant my heart sank. The waitress that served us was understanding that this "meat eater" was visiting a Vegan restaurant for the 1st time. Well .....I can honestly say that for years I have been eating with my eyes and not my taste buds and WOW every course we had was an explosion of taste, texture and new and wonderful flavours. Have I been turned well I am thinking about what I eat. Thank you to the lovely waitress and all staff who cooked a lovely meal. Will I be back .......Oh go on then it's a YES

We each had a bowl of soup which although was nice was a very small portion. We asked if soup came with bread and were told it didn't but we could have some on the side. When the bill arrived we were very disappointed to see we had been charged an extra £2.95 pp (£8.85 total) for the 'bread' which was actually a very small, white toasted burger bun. Happy to pay extra and especially if it had been a larger bit of good bread but this seems excessive. We wont be back i'm afraid. Staff were very good and friendly and great spot so this was a real shame.

Extremely overpriced, very little value for money. The burger was decent at best, with a bun that tasted as if it had come directly out of a bag from the supermarket. The actual restaurant is as basic and uncharming as you can imagine, symbolized by the dish washer operating inside the restaurant at full display. Disappointing experience and should have chosen a random vegan fastfood concept instead for half the price.

Food was nice but very small portions and not worth the prices. Vibe is casual, not as posh as other places nearby but that’s also refreshing. Shame as staff are very friendly, but there are better value vegan places in the area.

Very underwhelming and expensive. Feels like this place is utilising some relative fame to capitalise on getting patrons. Would recommend home slice next door

Really poor service. Considering I was the only customer there was no excuse for it. They barely acknowledged me, left me waiting forever and I got to listen to whom I beliebe to be the manager be condescending to his employees. Go elsewhere.

Expensive. The food portions were TINY. Food wasn't terrible but definitely not worth the price. There is also not a lot of options on the menu, and all the main dishes are around 15£ which is why we could only get the salad. Definitely left feeling hungry. Would not recommend for anyone on any kind of budget.

This tiny hidden cafe provides excellent choices for the vegan diet and those with food intolerances. Finding the venue can be tricky as it is like a secret location only locals know. It is quite quirky, busy and space is at a premium. If you are looking for a quiet location then this may not suit you as it is tightly spaced in an open-plan setting. The venue provides a good selection of dishes and interesting twists on classics. The food is surprisingly colourful and the taste is good. Service can be a little rushed as it can get very busy. Prices are reasonable and its uniqueness as a venue is appealing at first. However, if you looking for a more relaxed experience it may be worth considering other options that are growing for the vegan diet.

I have no idea why people are complaining! I came to Wild Food Cafe last week and I had a wonderful experience! Staff was very welcoming, polite and extremely helpful! I had the jackfruit which I had never tried before and I absolutely loved it! The best part of my experience was the rainbow cheeseburger! It was amazing and I can't wait to have it again! I agree that the price point is a little on the high side but it is seriously worth it! ? Ask for the rainbow cheesecake!

Enjoyed a great "burger" and matcha in this quaint little restaurant in a great area of town. Will definitely be back if and when I return to London.

Really good service. Friendly and attentive. We had Mushroom and tarragon soup was really tasty, well seasoned. I really could have had a second bowl. Gorgeous coconut cheese cake. Burger was nice but I'm not a fan of sweet potato fries in. I went with two meat eating friends and they both loved it too. Definitely recommended.

Amazing place; delicious raw food restaurant. Love being able to sit outside in Neal's Yard; a charming, iconic and historic square.

Some of the best veggie food in London, with amazing atmosphere and super friendly staff. Seating is shared, which provides great opportunity for making new friends - however could prove too close for comfort for those who like more elbow space! It can be a little tricky to find the entrance, and access is up some steep steps so potentially not great for anyone with mobility issues. Well worth a visit, even if just for dessert :)

(Translated by Google) I love coming to eat when I visit London ... but lived better times ... It is very expensive for what it offers and on the other hand to avoid problems of bacteria and its gastrointestinal consequences should put the salads they have on the bar in refrigeration or covered. A shame.

my husband chose this vegan cafe for his birthday dinner but sadly we found the food to be very bland, tasteless and unsatisfying. The burrito had almost no jackfruit and only mainly rice and the Malaysian curry was a mix of few large-cut vegetables seasoned it seemed with curry powder and was served with anything. Would not recommend

Very cute place, central location. The staff is nice but the server was a bit distracted. I hadn't finished my juice when I ordered the cake and went to the toilet, when I got back the server took the juice, yet I told him I am going to the toilet, plus I ordered a cake, which means I am coming back obviously. Anyway, he gave me a new one, exactly the size that was left - half a glass. So, that was a bit unfortunate. Apart from that, the food is great, of course pricey, considering the location but it was delicious and felt healthy.

I've discovered "cafe" means "instant coffee for £3.50" And "vegetarian food options" are quite limited and largely listed roast veg and pasta salad. Vegan burger was dry, tiny, and burnt. The place is really noisy as well with the smoothie blender blending right by the tables. Somehow paid £30 for one lunch and two instant coffees pretty extortionate, not that tasty.

The main (burrito) lacked any flavour whatsoever, but apart from that the starters and dessert were good. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Only just a 4*.

I am not vegan at all but I love vegan food and so as a Londoner I do love Wild Food Café which was the first Vegan Cafe I had ever been when I discoverd it in 2014. This is not just a Vegan Cafe, but a unique, unexpected and hidden wild gem in the heart of posh and gentrified Covent Garden, and actually... apart from its amazing food, this is what I really love about this place, the massive contrasts that characterize it since we are talking about a local business in a very touristy area, an alternative place in a conventional neighborhood, a wild concept in a developed area, a relaxing and quiet atmosphere in the noisy and hectic Covent Garden. Veggie, Tasty, Organic, Fresh, Gluten Free, Wholemeal and Sugar Free food all offered in an innovative raw-centric Gourmet Wild Food World Cuisine. After reading some reviews I've noticed that somebody finds: - FOOD EXPENSIVE, but I would tell them not to forget that quality and preparation of food is great and London is one of the most expensive cities in the world, and Covent Garden is one of its most expensise neighborhood. - PORTIONS TINY, but I would remind them this is a Cafe not a Restaurant, and portions, in general, are not big in the UK because this is not America or Italy and since I am Italian I would also say: when in Rome "do/think" as Romans "do/think" - INATTENTIVE WAITERS, but I would recommend them reading carefully the name of the Cafe which is "WILD" whic means unconventional, and also means realx and enjoy this experience. Because Wild Food Café is not just a Café but a true and unique Experience!

Looks nicer than it tastes. Unfortunately, I must say that the things we’ve had were all a bit callow — the dishes (and drinks) want to be more than they are. I think the cafe needs to work a bit more on its basics and not just the wow-effect.

I’ve only recently stopped eating meat and am seeking out everywhere in london for food. This place was great, the staff were great, the jackfruit was great, the coffee was great...I think you catch my drift. Go here. Be great.

I’m 100% raw so we decided to tour all the raw vegan places in London - this is the one we started at and we have not being disappointed. The staff were lovely warm and welcoming and very accommodating to our needs. We shared the two burgers and they were proper banging, couldn’t recommend enough. Left feeling full but as light as air! Thank you guys ?

I first visited neals yard and the cafe over the summer with a friend. I loved the vibe, the food was incredible and the desert were just perfect. I’ve never had a banofi cake this fresh and delicious!! I have been back on various occasions for coffee and lunch. Just love it!

The food was over priced and poorly presented, on top of this it was basic in taste and relatively low quality, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. The venue was basic and slightly pretentious, and bare in mind i a veteran vegetarian. The staff where great, and really approachable. To sum up our experience I would say, Nice but not worth the money note the fact we have so many great local option we would have rather gone too. Best wishes, Ian

The food is amazing here even though quite expensive due to the area. Looks better from outside than inside as has a ‘hippy’/canteen look inside. The service is hit and miss to be honest, some of the grumpy team members can let the others down. I still love visiting here.

  • 2/5 Jac E. 4 years ago on Google
My last experience was really disappointing. The food was good but the portion size was extremely small especially in relation to the price. The service was slow and didn't have any enthusiasm. Even though the food tastes good and is fresh there are better vegan restaurants with a far better price-performance ratio. I left the restaurant really hungry and therefore went directly to a neighbouring vegan restaurant (redemption) which was a far better experience. In the future I will directly go there.

  • 4/5 Chris 4 years ago on Google
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Great if you’re a vegan. Though I only gave 4 stars, as I would have preferred a couple more desert options, as I wasn’t that be a fan of what was available.
