Excellent waiting staff & nice drinks. Good Food Yet Overall Dining Experience Ruined By The Manager! So NO, I would not recommend going here full stop. I have posted pictures. My dessert was delicious!!! Back to the Manager: What an impolite, poorly spoken, certainly sour, ill-mannered man. No customer service skills. No respect in his tone and a very bad attitude towards me. Is it because I am Black? Who Cares!!! Less than a minute after being asked if we would like to order more drinks by the wonderfully bright and cheerfully dispositioned waitress - This man asked us to leave, because in 7 mins there is another booking - We still had drinks to finish and praise be we did not order any more! We decided to leave in 3 was amazed at how he spoke to me after I declined to pay the service charge but insisted the waitress get £10. tip (cash in hand) he came over to pree… This man then had the gumption to inform us he is the Manager - and what? He Is Too Rude and Out of Order Yet Fortunate We Left The Brixton Rapid Reply & Rass Response At Home... Instead we simply smiled and waved as we have learned how to deal with people like him.... shoo & wave them away! Its 2022 now so we had to laugh after him and leave..never to return! Yes...we truly had to Laugh!! The Manager needs a re-fresher course in customer service. The Manager needs to learn how to respect ALL shades of people - not just smile and shimmy for the white customers. I am a paying customer. Money is money and we all bleed the same blood! *mostly

If I could I would give 0 stars. There just so much wrong with this place, its disappointing. Waiting for the food was up to 2 hours and it wasn't even crowded. Left me starving, only to bring the starters WITH the main dish. They exploit unaware tourists by giving £5 bottled water. (And in my opinion, to much cocoa on the tiramisu, work on the presentation too).

Good sized Italian restaurant set across a split level. We had booked a table for six and was celebrating a couple of birthdays. The staff were super friendly and actually gave us some free desserts (after we had devoured our three course meals). Full is an understatement, but a lovely gesture. Food was well cooked and portions fair for the price. Great little spot.

I was so disappointed with the restaurant. The pizza and food were overpriced. Besides, I've been charged for 3.5 pounds for tips, but they didn't explain to me that tips are optional. So overpriced, unfair tips to pay, nothing delicious to try.

The best Italian food I’ve had in London in ages! Absolutely amazing atmosphere, very welcoming stuff and classy interior. Pizza with Truffle oil is my new favourite!

Where do I start? Kate was absolutely brilliant. We arrived late due to closed tube lines, and had just over an hour before we had to be at the theatre. Kate was absolutely brilliant and ensured that we got all of our food in time so we had a chance to enjoy our meal, and still get to the theatre in time. She went above and beyond what we expected, and made our experience truly enjoyable, even though the restaurant was full. The food was absolutely amazing as well, especially the gluten free pizza. Thanks again for everything and we look forward to being back very soon!

I wanted to complain about the person who attended me, she says her name is Andrea. If you’re on vacation with good mood, absolutely the worst thing that could happen is dealing with someone disrespectful and who treats you very bad! The place is expensive, then you expect a very good experience, but this was not. If the owner of this restaurant sees this message, it would be good to fire this person who clearly does like working and scares it’s customers. Btw, the food is good.

This is one of the Bella Italia branch that really serves good pasta, you actually get what you pay for. Proper portioning and good taste. However the staff who greeted us seems in a bad mood. She was quite a bit intimidating as while she was serving the food she actually drop the food recklessly which is disappointing. We did not complain as we assuming that she was just tired. Definitely would give a 5 star if she could be a bit nicer.

The lasagne and the pizza we ordered (sun-dried tomatoe, basil etc.) were amazing and oh so cheesy, however I wasn't crazy about the pollo pasta I ordered with a tomato sauce and prosciutto.

Very conveniently located in Theatre Land with great tasting food. Sadly, our pre-matinee visit was made very stressful by an arduously long wait for two dishes. Our waitress was friendly but clearly on her own, understaffed and doing the best she could. It's a shame as the restaurant is lovely but not suitable if you are on a time constraint.

I had a delicious meal at Bella Italia during a marathon sightseeing day in London. I had calamari for an appetizer, seafood risotto for my main dish, and some tiramisu with a cappuccino for dessert. The service was efficient and the staff was friendly. The food was all delicious. It was a great meal.

We wanted a meal before going to the theatre and were told there was a 30minute wait for food. We decided we had enough time to wait but didn't have to wait as long as 30minutes. Food was very nice but our dessert choice was not available so had to change for something else. Server's were good but obviously very busy.

Dishes and prices were good, the only problem was that they only hire 2 waitress for 20 tables which was definitely not enough. They were working under pressure and they couldn't manage well due to the low employes that this restaurant has. We are sure that if they hire 2 o 3 more waitress, the restaurant will increase the happiness of the clients and actual waitress. Updated: 1. Pasta bolognesa and carbonara were delicious and they serve it with proper parmesano cheese 🧀. Dessert like tiramisu and brownie were magnificent. 2. Waitress numbers increased after 30' of the initial message to number of 4 employees serving the tables. The environment was better and the waitress served kindly and more relaxed 😌 ☺️. Well done!keep working hard 👏

Greg was our waiter for the night and he was provided us with amazing service. He did go above and beyond to made our night. Recommended wine that went with the order and making sure everything was OK. Thank you so much for all you did Greg! Your service and knowledge were amazing and we are looking forward to be back !

Honestly so disappointing. Was on the search for a good Italian and for the price you’re paying you’re expecting to be served with at least a decent meal. Unfortunately the meal tasted like it was a frozen pizza and the pasta dish tasted like a ready meal. So so disappointed, would not recommend. Pizza express is much better for the price you’re paying.

My son and I were on a day trip to London, for the theatre. I had booked Bella Italia in advance. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, fab music. The speed of service was fabulous and all done with a smile too. Our food was delicious. My son had a pizza and I had pasta, a vegetarian dish, with baby plum tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, it was so delicious!! Then ice cream and a brownie (divine) for pudding. I took advantage of the two course special deal menu, which saved me loads! Would highly recommend eating here.

Very nice restaurant in a good location, very kind helpful staff, pleasant to be around. Food didn’t take long and it was tasty. Not cheap but reasonable. Good selection. Toilet available however not buggy or wheelchair friendly as it’s downstairs- a long staircase. There are baby changing facilities in the ladies toilets. Children are welcome, they have tasty children’s menu. Near Piccadilly underground station, 7 min from it. Close to many theatres. Recommended.

We were a party of four without a reservation. We were waiting in line for about 30 minutes and the lady at the front (white and disrespectful) kept on sitting parties bigger than ours WITHOUT reservations before us. She sat a parties bigger than ours before us and other guests without reservations before us. I believe this lady was racially discriminating against us and was rude to us but not other guests. I highly recommend NOT going to this restaraunt.

We came to Bella Italia after my show, it looked rather busy we didn’t expect to get a table. We got seated and the waitress was Kate we have never been more happier with a service she was polite throughout was professional and made sure we had a great experience. We wasn’t to sure what to order, kate suggested a wonderful main course with a wine that complimented the food perfectly her knowledge is amazing. The food was great and 100% would return and Bella are lucky to have such a waitress. Thank you for a great experience!!!

Good food with great service. The set menu is great value too. We visited on a busy Saturday evening and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Only criticism, there was too much cocoa on the top of the tiramisu but other than that it tasted great.

Lovely food, as always at Bella Italia, and a pleasant restaurant. Very conveniently placed for multiple London sights and theatres. Efficient, friendly staff.

Right in the middle of London. Had the set menu for two courses for £17. Tasty and filling for the price. Maybe not worth it if the food wasn't on the set menu. Staff were friendly and relatively efficient.

What a great experience!! We were treated like family. The food and drinks were delicious. As Americans studying abroad, the manager made sure to give us a warm welcome with limoncello on the house. I highly recommend this place!

Went here on a whim whilst visiting London. The staff were good and polite. Restaurant was very quiet, only 2 or 3 tables used. I ordered garlic doughballs with mozzarella for starters, pepperoni pizza for main and gelato for dessert. 3 courses for £20.95. I also had a peroni reserve and a pint of draught becks. Yes I was hungry. The food was served quickly and tasted lovely. Just how I like it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the waitress was quite assertive about the optional 15% tip. I was using a voucher which had enough for 10% and as I was not given service that was above and beyond I left it at that. She was not impressed. But I would definitely go there again.

Completely different Bella Italia. It is finally BELLA indeed. Large portions of your favourite dishes. Many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. If you cannot find it on the menu - just speak to your server and make some changes to the chosen dish. Play with it. Everything is possible here. Grab a glass of juicy red or crisp white. Cocktails are delicious too. Be nice, be hungry and do not forget your favourite outfit - it is West End. Ciao!

My friend and I were on a short trip to London and booked to go to Bella Italia on Shaftesbury Avenue before our show. We were waited on by Tereza, who was lovely and really looked after us. The food was delicious. So if you’re looking for a lovely place to eat this is the one. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
